Terrible experience with eBay.

Terrible experience with eBay.
I sold an item and the buyer received it on November 19th, even leaving me 5-star feedback. Despite this, eBay is holding my funds until December 14th due to their retention practices.

This delay is unreasonable and discouraging for sellers who rely on timely payments. I currently have other items listed, but I will be removing them and switching to alternative platforms that offer a more transparent and efficient payout process.

Vile shopping experience, time to leave Ebay

After 20 years of being with ebay I am closing my account. Ebay ES shockingly bad lack of customer service. I have had a few issues which I have left slide,, recently an order did not arrive despite a third party app telling the seller it had.
The shipper Histapost- who themselves are chronically bad claims the shipping number does not exsist.
My post box has CCTV and sends us info when we have a parcel arrives...... no parcel arrived for me on the date the third party shipping advisor claims my package had been delivered.

All info provided to Ebay who couldnt give a dam basically,, ebay actually closed my case without even having the common courtesy to let me know the outcome.
I can assure Ebay if I wished to claim for an item for cash refund it would have been more than the 10 euros my non delivered item cost.
My advice,, go to Temu, customer service and shopping experience is far far better.
Bye bye ebay

Be very careful eBay.es NOT TO BE TRUSTED

Be very careful eBay.es, they do not care about their clients or sellers. they are only interested in gaining sales commissions. Client Service is no existent. It is impossible to contact ebay.es They even send you corrupt ·no-reply" messages so that you are unable to reply or communicate with them.

I have been with ebay.es 19 years and before that with ebay.com I never had problemsd with ebay.co, but ebay,es are a total disaster, they hide and do not even attempt to resolve problems. They do nothing to protect sellers from scammers or "false buyers".

I have just suffered a terrible experience at ebay.es hands, and they have even hekped a scammer steal my Yamaha Violin. Noe ebay.es are "washing their hands" of the matter. I am taking the matter to the Courts as ebay.es refuse to do anything.

In summary:
I placed a beautiful Yamaha Silent Violin on sale. Almost immediately a "false buyer" ordered the violin. No messages or questions asked. Ebay gave me just 3 days to send the Violin. They send me 4 messages, all no-reply, insisting that I send the Violin quickly. They had already received the funds, but retained them from me, with excuse that I was missing profile data. Rememeber that I have been with ebay for 19 years!

I quickly spent 90€ on a protective case, packaing and thick cardboard box. I spent another 60€ on the postage at Correos España. I sent a message to the "buyer" that the violin was sent, and gave details of the tracking number etc.
The very next day the buyer requested a full refund, alledging the violin was not what he had ordered!!! This is a total lie. How can he make such a lie, when he has not seen or received the violin?

I sent a summary of the events to ebay via a feedback form, as no messaging system exists to deal with ebay. their "help" system is an insult, you just go around in circles, withing being able to communicate with anyone. Their annoying "virtual agent" is a total waste of time too.

I checked the "false buyers" profile, no details, few transctions, incomplete name, and a business address in Cyprus. All this and ebay "pushed" me to send the violin.

The buyer appears to be a "returns scammer". He says he has not received the item, yet he requested a refund!. He will probably send back an empty box and keep the violin. Corres say the violin is in Cyprus. Ebay are washing their hands of the matter, they refuse to help.
What guarantee can ebay give that I will receive the violin back again???

I managed to chat with an ebay.es support agent only once, she assured me that ebay.es would not refund the "false buyer"s money until it was confirmed that I had received the violin and that it was in the same condition as when I posted it.

I am still without the violin.
But ebay,es are trying to ignore me, and wash their hands of the matter, ebay.es are thieves.

Client care ZERO!

I suggest no-one uses ebay.es to sell anything of value. Ebay.es does not care about seller safety.

Terrible

Terrible. Beware !!!!!
cannot contact any real people. online 'chat' is "unavailable" (11am on a tuesday !). online help is wrong and missing information. Cannot get payment details for tax purposes.
I wont be using this joke of a site anymore.

We don't let you spent money with us. Because you tried so hard.

Set up.
Found an item to buy, registered, tried to pay for it for a whole day using all provided kinds of payment options.

Conflict.
3 cards on my name (Master, Visa) even Google pay, no success at all. Every time the I tried to pay I received the payments back within a minute. The eBay kept saying me I should check payment info, checked and tried all options to pay. I even tried my wife's card. No success with proceeding the payment.
Consulted with my bank, they said there's nothing wrong from their side, bank sends the money to them and then receiving their orders for money back and proceeds it. My bank assured me they have the latest 3d security protocols.

Resolution.
Next day I got "permanent suspension of my account because I tried to sell stuff possibly damaging eBay's community". Asked to review the circumstances that I'm trying to buy the particular item. Got two responds by eBay's stuff which looks like fake personalised automatic messages, because they're not related to me nor my circumstances.

Experience I got.
eBay you're total disrespectful scum and bshit. Take your "permanent decision" to not let me buy with your i.diotic platform and pay you non direct commissions back in your decreasing popularity company and rest somewhere with your future "business".
I keep my money, thanks.

Worst online company in spain thanks to correos.es

Worst Delivery Company in the World
Without doubt, thee worst delivery organisation in the world. Do they Care ? NO. I was awaiting a package from Amazon.es using the same address I have always used. Yet, despite waiting in for 3 days and constant online chats to Amazon. Correos returned the package. The whole organisation needs a big shake up. As do most Spanish businesses with there "Mañana" attitude. Ebay and amazon will not work using correos.es

eBay need to start looking into scams and take them off their site. Absolutely disgusting that people are allowed to rip people's hard earned cash off them that they have saved long and hard for. They should take the customers side I stead of a lying thieving seller. I will never use eBay ever again.

I thought the whole point of paying through PayPal was that it was insured. I paid on debit card not credit card so I literally will never see my €72.70 again.

Basically I ordered a watch, it was sent faulty which the seller would have known as it had cling film holding it together, I asked the seller if they had a replacement they said no. I sent the faulty watch back with a broken bezel, then a number of days later the seller miraculously had another item the same to send me (the original glued back together probably), then the seller said they never received the item even tho I have proof I sent it.

And ironically the item I have since found on Amazon at €50 including delivery. But now I can't afford it.

Ripped off again on ebay

On 6/27/20 I bought a pair of Asics shoes, they said retail was $120.00(lie) so I canceled my order but 15 messages without a response from Asics they fail to do anything. Beware of eBay and scam dealers. The retail price was inflated to promote sales.

EBAY IS ABSOLUTE TRASH

I sold an iPad on eBay and because of PayPal issues did not receive the payment. However, eBay demanded that the commission for the sale be paid, I contacted the buyer several times to inform about the payment not being received. I also informed eBay several times of the situation. Both the buyer and eBay have decided to ignore the situation. In conclusion, the 90 days for a resolution of the matter has gone by. This means that there is nothing to do about the problem except write to eBay about it and get the same response: silence. On the other hand, even though I did not receive any payment for the iPad, the buyer did receive it, which means, I have no tablet, no money and on top of it have to pay a commission. I initially decided not to pay, since eBay was aware of the situation and knew that I had not received any payment. However, they have recently sent letters threatening to take legal action if the commission is not paid. So, my advice: NEVER USE EBAY!!!
