I was searching for a rare book that is no longer in print, and found it listed on this site for £18. After emailing and enquiring about the condition of the book, I received a very prompt response, with the images I asked for. I went to buy the book and saw that the seller had reduced the price to £13. The package arrived within less than a week. I'm very grateful to the employees for having shown kindness and efficiency when dealing with my order.

Not just a really good price for a used book, but the condition of the book was very good (so I can continue to use it for many years to come) and delivered internationally to my Inbox much sooner than expected. Two thumbs up!

I ordered a book through Amazon in February, which did not arrive. After chasing the history of its despatch, it turns out the carrier must have lost the book as reported by Amazon. After contacting the seller directly, who was more than accommodating, I received a replacement. The only thing I would advise the seller, is to be circumspect regarding carriers.

This company was great! The useless Amazon courier didn't deliver the book and Anybook managed to find a replacement copy (impressive for a book dating from 1951!). Excellent communications and customer service, they even managed to get the book to me before father's day.

This is not my first time buying books from Anybook, but I'd like to post my opinion / review now.
I can recommend their services: they offer magnificient books (usually ex-library copies) at a very decent price and they also ship them internationally with tracking number for a moderate cost. You have to assume taxes depending on your location (EU, for instance). All in all, great.

I just bought my fourth book from the shop “anybook”. Again I am very happy with the good service. The book has a very good price in comparison with other shops. The book is in a very good condition. The shop knows the correct abebook-rules to declare appropriately the book-parcel. (Book-purchases with abebooks should be regularly tax free between UK and Germany) That ensures fast delivery without frictions at customs between UK and Germany (delivery within 5 days). Tipp: Receiving the parcel via a “Packstation” in Germany works properly if you buy the books in single envelops. Anybook knows how to declare the parcel that it will be delivered by the right operator. Summary: Do you enjoy English books which are out of stock and not available in Germany? Look at first whether anybook does it offer.
