Westlake Rd., Anytime Fitness
Not all Anytime Fitness locations are the same—but the brand new West Lake Road Anytime fitness, West Kelowna, BC truly stands out above the rest. I’ve been to a lot of gyms, and this one is honestly the cleanest, largest, and most beautiful I’ve ever experienced. The entire place is totally immaculate.
The equipment is modern, up-to-date, and there’s everything you could possibly need for a great workout—including an awesome circuit/round system that really keeps things moving. The music is amazing and perfectly matches the vibe of the gym, which makes working out even more enjoyable.
I also love the 24-hour access and the ability to use my membership anywhere, anytime—it’s so convenient. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and it really shows. I totally recommend this gym to anyone looking for a great place to work out. This Anytime Fitness is a 10 out of 10.
Harrassed and threatenned Thug and Banned…
I was harassed and threatenned by an aggressive thug and barred from the Club. I was was not given a reason and I was not heard.
Brentwood- Small Franchise run by youngsters
I was a member of this gym for a good period of time, and while the staff themselves are generally polite and trying to help, the way the club is run leaves a lot to be desired.
After suffering a back injury, I was unable to attend and was advised to freeze my membership. What was not made clear at the time was that I would still be required to pay a 30-day notice period later on, even after the freeze.
The overall approach feels very much like a “computer says no” system. There is no flexibility or common-sense consideration of individual circumstances, even in cases where you physically cannot use the gym. Despite having already paid for months without attending, the focus remained on enforcing the final charge.
It also feels like there is no real accountability beyond the front-line staff. You are dealing with a small team who are bound by strict terms and conditions, with no clear way to escalate the issue to someone with the authority to take a fairer, more balanced view.
Ultimately, the experience leaves the impression that the process is designed to protect revenue rather than support members. In situations involving injury or financial difficulty, that lack of flexibility is particularly disappointing.
Experience with AF
I've been to a several AF gyms across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. All I can say is they are mostly poorly maintained. The membership price ain't cheap and you'd be better off payin that premium price elsewhere at other more famous commercial gyms or private workout studios.. Judging from the reviews on Trustpilot and personal experience, AF gym service is just substandard and inconsistent. There may be some good days when everything is in order , but when bad days come they really linger on for a pretty long time... Longer than the good days you had experienced...
As for personal training, the experience is like opening unpredictable blind boxes, with a high chance of getting an unpleasant surprise.
Overall, the culture seems to be very much profit driven by short term sales...
Predatory cancellation policy!
Decent enough gym, but predatory cancellation policies. They will take you for a ride if you wish to cancel. DO NOT fall for the "pause membership ". Cancel, get out and take your money elsewhere. They will milk you for every euro.
Anytime Killara NSW
Anytime Killara NSW. Loyal anytime member for over 10 years. They tried to transfer my membership from another gym to the most expensive rate with an increase of 30%. Gave me 30 days notice take it or leave it. Manager is conveniently on leave during the notice period. Avoid these weasels
Very Disappointed

Scam you out of money
I recently found out that after your year contract ends, anytime fitness will continue to draft money out of your account. I learned that you have to turn in a 30 day notice to end your contract even though you signed a contract that has an ending date. I have never heard such a thing or have dealt with this. Anytime fitness is purely taking advantage of people and the reps at the gyms are not disclosing this. The reps will explain the cancellation policy "if" you want to cancel before your contract. I called corporate and that is where I learned that at the bottom of contract , in small writing, you have to give a 30 day notice to a contract. Needless to say, I got charged for 3 months before figuring this out and I just have to take the lost when trying to survive with the cost of living. Shame on anytime fitness for doing this to their members

This gym is very racist. I am Native American and my spouse is Canadian.
The manager displayed total disrespect & was obviously prejudice.
Complete lack of responsibility
Another members membership fees were added to my account without any communication from Anytime Fitness. When I questioned what happened there was no explanation and I was told that I needed to fix it. There was no apology. I wanted to cancel my membership and they have refused. They are the ones who added the other membership fees to my account, they should have taken responsibility for their actions. They also do not have any employees at this gym. I was told they all work remotely. This is a disaster waiting to happen.
They allowed a minor to sign herself up…
They allowed a minor to sign herself up for a membership and then refused to cancel it without a $250.00 fee
Don't use Anytime Fitness
Their cancellation policies are ridiculous, even if you fulfilled your one year lease.
These people are nothing but crooks
These people are nothing but crooks. My daughter was a member and called and canceled her membership 2 years ago. Now they have sent her to collections for membership dues they claim she owes. My husband has been trying to cancel his membership for months. He has called, emailed and gone in to the gym. They have now sent him to collections saying ge owes membership dues. They refuse to cancel the memberships saying its all on some billing company and refuse to do anything. Do not sign up here. You wont ever be able to stop your membership.
Misleading advertising practices
Misleading advertising practices. They present a price in a way that most people assume it’s a monthly charge, but then quietly note in small print that it’s actually billed biweekly. That alone shows how deceptive their approach is.
Very nice staff and tuff gym
Definitely a bad experience with…
Definitely a bad experience with Anitimefitness Australia. I had a problem with their app via email because I couldn't change the settings on my phone. I couldn't open the gym door. I requested a door chip, just like other customers had received. They refused to give me the chip without justification. I could only use the gym when staff were present (I couldn't exercise in the mornings, evenings, and on holidays and Sundays, which negatively impacted my results). Customer service has been giving me the same response for three months, telling me I need to change the settings. Very poor service; the staff are busy with their personal belongings and playing with their phones. Outdated equipment, and the gym is expensive to use. I terminated my contract due to poor service quality. Of course, I had to pay a fine. The bathrooms were dirty. I felt like a second-class customer. Embarrassing.
Keep far away from this place not worth your time or $
Keep far away from this place, complete scam joint! Maintenance fees for a gym complete cash grab, and then they make it extremely difficult to cancel your membership. Their equipment is sparse, as are the bathrooms. Way overpriced for what they offer, and it's just not worth the headache.

I moved and canceled my membership. But the thing is they refuse to cancel my membership and continue to charge me.
