Appalling. We made a drop off at Manchester Airport terminal 2 recently. We were unaware that there was an online parking payment system. We didn't see and signage regarding this during our visit. I'... See more

Terrible company
Terrible company. App is useless. Trying to contact them is a waste of time - useless bots and no chance of speaking to a real person.
App and terminals not working at Royal Berkshire Hospital
I had to park at West Berkshire Hospital and tried to use the app to register m'y Blue Badge. I completed the application only to be told my application was pending so I then had to pay. Trying to pay was really difficult as the terminal didn't recognise my licence plate. Several people were having the same problem and it wasn't even a busy day. There was no help button on the terminals and the hospital reception had no means to resolve the problem. Of course you can't exit the car park if you can't enter your registration. 10 minutes later another terminal recognised my license registration. 3 days later the app says my Blue Band application is still pending. How are companies like this allowed to operate in locations where people are often distressed visiting sick or injured relatives or friends. The government should fine them heavily for the poor services they provide
Parking payment issue resolved.
On a recent visit to Manchester Airport T2 car park to pick up we had an issue paying for parking. The car park is run by APCOA and had recently changed to number plate recognition instead of token. We had previously pre booked a space for drop off but due to the new system decided to turn up and use the number plate recognition system as we always overpay when pre booking. On our return home we tried to pay using the website and telephone but it didn’t recognise our details and we were unable to speak to someone as the lines were closed. I managed to pay £5 to show an attempt had been made to pay. I called the company on Monday morning to resolve the issue and was told that my previous pre booking had actually covered the cost of that visit as well. The call handler refunded my £5 and fully explained the situation. His name was Asty and it was a pleasure to speak with him. Although the situation of having to wait to clear the issue up wasn’t idea his help was greatly appreciated and I would give his service 5 stars
Not impressed
Not impressed. Visited P&J in Aberdeen for Titanic Experience which was fabulous. A great afternoon out almost spoilt by a dreadful parking experience. We were advised by the attendant to 'late pay' within 24 hours once we got home, having photographed the parking details. It took four efforts with three different cards and over an hour to finally get the parking paid, which I was anxious to do having read the reviews about fines being added. We parked from 1.30pm until 6pm and were charged £15 which is excessive. We won't be parking there again.
Parked at station - struggle to pay
Parked at station and got on train, tried to pay on app and it wouldn’t text me confirmation!
Website is shocking and no clear signposting to payments
Tried calling which is so 1979 and still didn’t get anywhere
Searched website in the end and found a specific phone number you can call to pay on phone. Not to be found anywhere clear on the website or at the parking location sign.
Shambles of a company deserve to be shutdown and replaced with RingGo. Absolutely no excuse for such poor service.
I haven’t yet received a fine but it took my 15 mins to pay due to their system so if I did I certainly will be going to court
My husband parked in a hospital carpark…
My husband parked in a hospital carpark and put in the code of an adjacent carpark when paying to park. He received a fine and when we appealed they did not accept that he had paid even though his receipt showed the same time as his time of parking. Very unfair!! He did not know he'd put in the wrong code until they turned down his appeal.
They are just money making machines, not interested in people!! They could easily have allowed his transgression!
Website and blue badge limited use
Accessing one's account on the website is difficult. Long delays, unable to copy the password when renewing. Also by allowing only one car and having to register the car is difficult. You need to use the same car or you run into problems. You cannot be driven by friends because of the process chosen by apcoa. The registration only lasts a year. It should last for the duration of the blue badge. Using the train is enough of a problem as a disabled wheelchair user. Apcoa's system makes it a whole lot worse. Sorry
Poor customer service
Very disappointing response when trying to get help. The AI chatbot is hopeless and the two agents I actually chatted with were not much better. The first cut me off halfway through explaining my problem so I went to the back of the queue. Looking at the average rating of APCOA I can see that they have little regard for how customers feel about them.
Paid a ticket (agreed rightfully issued…
Paid a ticket (agreed rightfully issued as i stopped in a no stopping area) 3 days after my appeal was rejected.
Got continually harassed for money. They kept sending letters with their phone number right under the councils details so every time i called or emails, it went direct to the parking company.
The council are now taking me to court which will end up looking stupid as its already paid and dealt with. Act as a middleman for collecting debts, but fail to pass on proof to initial claimants.
Looking forward (if it gets that far) to my court date, as I'm hoping I can claim loss of income and expenses that day
Absolutely the worst ever
Absolutely the worst ever. For years I have tried to make it work and is impossible. With all the other companies, payment are on time, I can make payment directly never never an issue. Every time I use APCOA I ended up paying 90SEK extra as it ends to their debt collection department. Is ridiculous! It works when you use the website only but since I installed the app, all my parking has became a nightmare.
Sort it out !
Ruthless and no compassion.
Went to Hospital and there were no parking spaces in disabled area as i had my mom in law who is wheelchair bound. I therefore parked on end of a row, not blocking anyone at all. I tried looking for other spaces and on return the attendant was issuing a ticket. Mom in law had just received awful news about her prognosis. The attendant saw us and aoplogised ,but he couldn't rescind it. I told him not to worry. Appealed the ticket stating i did try to find somewhere else and the Circs about mom in law asking for a bit of sympathy. Reply was basically that i contravened the rules , which i agreed ,but pay anyway regardless of your personal issues. Obviously the have no discretion and it's all cut and dried. They have no compassion for people and all about the money.
I would give it no stars
I would give it no stars if I had the option. A dreadful experience trying to park at Leicester Train Station. A nightmare to download the app and then tried to pay while on the train I needed to catch. The option for one day's parking disappeared until later in the day. Eventually managed to pay before leaving car park but was on evening rate by now. Got £60 fine anyway. East Midlands Railways customer service were useless. They have clearly outsourced all accountability and responsibility for their car parks to a firm with faulty software. Will be doing my best to avoid EMR in future.
Pickup/drop-off zone Manchester airport…
Pickup/drop-off zone Manchester airport t2 deliberately did create confusion for pay online and deadline very sort time. It's scam, they send me £60 fine as I forgot to pay before time because of family emergency. It's daylight robbery #fraud#
Clamped even though I had paid and within my time
I got clamped and had to pay release fine even though I had proof of paying the correct fee and within the time allowed. I showed this ticket to the gentleman who had clamped me but he chose to ignore the facts even though he was looking at my ticket. Rude and refused to give his name.
Earn a real living
scumbags, placed a Ts & Cs board with the smallest font ON A ROUNDABOUT at Manchester airport
Was in a rush this morning forgot to…
Was in a rush this morning forgot to pay, spoke to Morgan R, he was very helpful and directed me to the late pay option, had a lovely chat , really helpful team member
I get weekly parking from them
I get weekly parking from them , they are always full and looking for ways to charge ypu extra for parking out of line etc. End up paying even more than where i can just pay daily next to my business .
Absolute scammers
Absolute scammers. Stansted airport you have to pay in 24 hours. Why you can't pay in 72 hours or something like that???

We tried to purchase a parking permit…
We tried to purchase a parking permit for our own house and after we had paid the fee for this permit, it never arrived in the post.
After we contacted Apcoa enquiring about the whereabouts of the permit, they replied that it was out of their hands after they sent the permit to be posted. We requested they send another permit, but they refused saying that we would have to pay for another one.
This is unacceptable and they have taken our money for nothing. The fee was only 15 euros for the permit, but I think it’s the principle of what happened that counts.
Terrible service.
