It’s not titanium

It’s not titanium. No refund. I paid $202 for cutting board , pan, knife. It’s cheap stainless steel. The cutting board scratched with knife. Don’t waste money. I paid for big lesson's stupidly. (I’am Asian. My English is not well). I just wanna tell whoever to know . Don’t silly like me. Hopefully someone understands this communication.

Seriously Poor Quality.

Ordered two chopping boards direct from APEX website, what was delivered was two thin sheets of 'non-ferrous' material where the apex logo and shape were laser cut/etched and the edges honed poorly by hand. Came with protective film that was scuffed on in places and some deep scratches. They protect themselves with some seriously tight terms and conditions on what they can deliver to you which violates EU consumer rights. Don't trust this company. The product is cheap is most of the value is in the shipping.

Was supposed to receive a Carekit and…

Was supposed to receive a Carekit and Cutting Board Recipe Book with my order. I sent them an e-mail - they never responded. After use so far, I see cut marks - also, surface has "grease" looking marks that do not wash off - am handwashing in hot soapy water.

Scam company!!

Scam company!!! DO NOT BUY their junk. Bait and switch tactics, misleading imagery and marketing text, non- refundable due to "sale price", and above all, the products are inferior quality and not 100% titanium as advertised! I hope more consumers aren't duped as we have been. I hope karma catches up with them.

I have had such a terrible experience…

I have had such a terrible experience with this company and would NOT recommend them to anyone. Firstly I ordered a knife for my partner for his Christmas present on 26th November. I chased the company for an update after not hearing anything for a few weeks and was told it could take 6-10 working days for it to be delivered. I then chased again when this timeframe had passed with no response. After a few more chasers I raised a claim with my bank and received a full refund. I told the company exactly what had happened for full transparency.

On 23rd December the knife turned up and I received a threatening email asking me to pay for the knife. I emailed back immediately and suggested that I would pay 50% of the knife or would like a paid postage return note. I haven’t heard anything back but have received another threatening email to suggest they will get a third party company involved to chase me for the money. I have since emailed 4 times and not received any response. I am fuming to say the least. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

ABSOLUTE SCAM

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM.

Where do I start?!! The website claims it has free ‘local delivery’ yet 4 weeks later still so sign of them.

My heart sank when I searched the business they’d dispatched with - Chinese.. The very last thing you want to find out when you’ve paid for some apparently high end pans.

When they did arrive, far too late it got even better! Arrived separately on different days in different parcels and in packaging the same as from Temu. I could hear rattling inside and the pans come un assembled?! No mention of this on the site whatsoever.

I did some more research and found that the website is only 8 months old. A scam checker points out it is not possible to receive almost 5000 positive reviews in this amount of time.

I didn’t even unwrap them when they finally arrived. Just incase that was yet another stipulation of theirs to make them un returnable.. But have no fear- they will NOT let you return them OR EVER have a refund!

I demanded a return postage label - no chance. The responses are definitely AI generated as ‘Marvin’ seems to speak better English than myself! Long waffling emails with all the right words and excuses.

These pans are utter garbage, who in their right mind would buy a high end pan from China?!

The whole website is a lie. Fake reviews, another customer points out you CANNOT leave one yourself! No information on the whole site about returns, no mention of pans in bits. Site claims ‘100 day money back guarantee’ yet they’ve denied customers of any refunds at all. Delivery not local, pans are not coming from UK.

I took assurance from the fact they used the shop app - usually for small independent businesses, I believe in the UK. And of course PayPal, using that helps me to feel more confident - not that I saw this issue coming!

I have an open case with PayPal, I will be making further reports. Good luck to anyone with the same issues. For anyone else DO NOT BUY!!!

Ordered the large Wok and large frying…

Ordered the large Wok and large frying pan and waited a long time for second parcel. We used both for first time yesterday for christmas dinner. The work snapped at the handle while using for the first and only time. Will use as a pretty but thin dog bowl i guess! Would never buy from this company again These pans are NOT true Titanium are not non stick and are so flimsy they are dangerous. Yesterday's use could have ended so much worse lifting a handle that snapped off with hot oil and food in.

I put in an order for four cutting…

I put in an order for four cutting boards about three weeks ago. They were supposed to be delivered to my business address and I keep on receiving a reply that they’re undeliverable. I continually reply back that my office is open during the week and somebody is always present. I’m beginning to think the company is a scam.

Warning

Warning: Scam Alert – Product Not as Described

I believe the seller accidentally included the original leaflet titled “Instruction for Multi-Layer Steel–Titanium Cookware,” which lists the actual materials used:

* Food contact layer: Titanium material
* Health 304 food grade material
* Composite layer: Intermediate heating
* Aluminium heated layer: 430 magnetic stainless steel
* Execution standard: GB 4806.9-2016 (Chinese food safety regulations)

Despite advertising these pans as “pure titanium” on their website, the product is clearly not as described. This is misleading and, in my opinion, a scam.

For comparison, the same “pure” titanium frying pan costs £24 on AliExpress, while the Apex Titanium website asks £118 for the identical pan.

Be cautious – this is a scam!

Very disappointed

Very disappointed. I paid good money for a chopping board as a gift. Slow delivery and the board isn’t even in a box. Cheap quality when I could have got the same one on amazon for $30. Extremely disappointed

Scam

Scam! Be careful! It's not made of titanium! I bought a set of three pans with utensils and cutting boards. I analyzed them with an X-ray spectrometer (ED-XRF) that I have at work, and the results show that they are made of ordinary steel. Only the cooking surface of the pans has a light titanium coating. There are no non-stick properties, quite the opposite in fact. The hammered surface offers no advantage, food sticks to it just like any other metal pan. Even worse, the burnt-on residue inside the hammered surface is hell more difficult to clean. Another negative point is that after the first normal use, the bottom of the pans is already deformed and therefore the bottom surface does not adhere completely to the stove. As mentioned, the cutting boards and utensils are made of normal steel and the workmanship is of poor quality, the edges are sharp and therefore scratch any surface they come into contact with. Chinese junk!
I know that the website is professionally designed and immaculate, and that is exactly what fooled me. If you notice, there are several reviews, but you cannot write any.
Don't waste your money!

No contact possible . Do not buy from that company

Ordered pans, knives, chopping boards….
So far : 2 pans and kitchen utensils that were damaged during transit.
Items are badly packaged. No order forms inside, no return label just in case.
No email detailing which item is arriving, no timescale .
Only contact is by form online to which you do not get a response!
Not professional at all.
I now doubt of the quality.

Don't be another victim

I placed my order on 2025-12-3 (Wednesday) and sent email to cancel the order on the same day. No reply on that day and on the following Thursday. The response email came on 2025-12-5 indicated that the cancellation could not be done once order was placed.

Finally, the order was received on 2015-12-16. There are a number of issues on the product received.

Before I get into the details of these issues. I like to mentioned the testable features of Titanium product.
1. Non-Magnetic, Not attracted to magnet.
2. Lightweight, much lighter than iron, steel, or stainless steel

Back to the issues on what I received,
1. My order is the Titanium Cook & Prep Bundle which include a pan (11") and a cutting board (15" x 11").
The pan size is 11 7/8 ", not 11" The cutting board is missing
2. Quality of pan
The material is not Titanium. It attracts magnet strongly and it's heavy. It is iron, not even stainless
steel.
The handle is packaged separately and comes with 3 nuts and a small wrench, which is completely
different from the product image on site. The screws were roughly soldered on the pan. I highly
doubt it will last.

Back to the company.
1. I have no proof but I suspect that the company is using AI to handle customer enquiries.
2. Based on reviews of other complaining customers, it appears the company is evolving to tempt potential
customer to place orders.
3. The company used low quality product as a substitute for the expensive product advertised on the site (they claimed the product is 100 percent Japanese handmade titanium).

2025-12-18 Update

1. The second part of the shipment (cutting board) arrived on 2025-12-17. A responsible merchant should have advised the customer about the split shipment. However, there was no indication of same. On top of that, the second shipment was shipped from the same address, without any delivery notice and tracking number.

2. The cutting board was in a package with dimension marked as 38 x 28 cm which agrees with the specifications on site. However, the actual measurement is 39.6 x 27.5 cm. Again, an indication of sloppy production.

3. The cutting board does not attract magnet. However, it is heavy and hence not made of Titanium. Also, the edges are not smooth.

4. I got an email from APEX on 2025-12-9 asking for a review. The review site was under Gorgias (gorgias.com). On the main page of Gorgias is a catchphrase as follows:

"Sell more and resolve support inquiries with Conversational AI

Where customer conversations feel personal, generate sales, and fuel your brand's growth"

You can imagine what kind of responses/emails customers may get.

The pans are not as described

The pans are described as "pure japanese titanium" however there is actually just a thin surface coating of this material. The rest is steel. The pan took a few weeks to be delivered from China. Pretty disappointed with this product!
