This cutting board from Apex is not the cheap flimsy cutting board advertised by others

This cutting board from Apex is not like the flimsy ones we bought on Amazon. It has no bounce when cutting and leaves no knife marks. This cutting board is 2x the thickness of other supposed titanium boards. It doesn’t flex when you pick it up. We cut a hard pumpkin on it and there were no knife marks even though I had to put extreme pressure on the knife in order to cut through the pumpkin.

Returns not possible on sale goods

Please do not be fooled by their return policy and money back guarantee. This does not apply on sales goods which is not clear. Also, they always seem to have a sale going on so you won’t be able to return the product unless it’s faulty. Not even a credit note. I bought one as a gift and tried to return it due to shipping delay (not their fault), but they would not accommodate a return in any way. Very expensive mistake. Always read trustpilot reviews and not those on the sellers site. Not reliable.

Total Scam - Fake Titanium Cutting Boards and Refuse Refunds! Avoid at All Costs

I ordered two “100% Grade 1 Japanese Titanium Cutting Boards” (one large and one medium) from apexiqo.com during their Holiday Sale (70% off), thinking it was a legit deal based on their website claims (SGS tested, non-porous, knife-friendly, lifetime durability, and 100-day risk-free money back guarantee). The total cost was around $150 USD after discounts. What a huge mistake!
It took over a month for the package to arrive from China, and it came in plain brown cardboard with no branding or protection—just wrapped in plastic.
When I finally received the boards, they were obvious fakes: thin stainless steel (measured thickness only 0.96mm instead of the advertised 1.8-2mm), heavy for their size (~750g for large, not lightweight like real titanium), magnetic (real titanium isn’t), and the edges had burrs that could cut your hand. I did a density test (weight/volume): around 7.46-7.9g/cm³, which is stainless steel, not titanium’s 4.51g/cm³. They dulled my knives after a few uses and had no “naturally antibacterial” feel—just cheap metal. Not the “pure Japanese titanium” they promised!
I initiated a chargeback with my bank (in the US) for “not as described/fraud,” and it was approved with provisional credit. But then Apex sent a guilt-trip email (via Gorgias) demanding I repay the refunded amount, claiming it’s “not fair for their small family-run business” and that I might receive both the product and the money. They ignored their own 100-day guarantee (“we’ll refund if it’s not quite right”) and ghosted my refund requests. This is classic scam tactics—false advertising, counterfeit goods, and harassment after chargeback.
Do NOT buy from Apex IQO! Save your money and go for real brands like Tivano or Taima for actual titanium boards. I reported them to FTC and BBB—hope this review warns others. Total waste of time and stress!

Please do not buy from Apex Titanium.

I placed an order in early November for an Apex Titanium cleaver, a gift for an old friend. Over one month later it has not been delivered and the customer service team at Apex Titanium, do not accept any responsibility for this (despite the law saying they are totally responsible.) I have had several emails promising to resolve and yet 5/6 weeks late nothing. Do not trust this company.

Apex pure japanese titanium pans

Hi, bought pure titanium pan from apex titanium( apexiqo.com), first it came with 2 parts: pan and handle+ screws in zipped bags to attach the pan. The picture on the website shows static handle. The pan came without any apex packaging, just wrapped in plastic and plan brown cardboard. Does not suit if you want to make a present. First, the pan burned and behaved like stainless still pan. After my complain - I got the explanation how to heat it properly and the result was much better. The coating seems to be titanium.

Excellent product and customer service

Nov 5th...Well, I am truly excited that I'll be receiving another Apex cutting board. I'll call it an early Christmas gift. Speaking of an early Christmas, my family is getting together this weekend to celebrate our early Christmas. We have it early November because my 3 siblings all go to Los Barriles near Cabo san Lucas for 1-3 months. My sister has a house there and I'll be joining them for the first time.
Every since my wife passed away from cancer this past summer I have vowed to take better care of my health. We always ate healthy, choosing organic whenever possible and that's what lead me to Apex. I was always leery about our plastic and wood cutting boards so I had a large tray of bleach solution outside to sanitize those boards.
I am packing my two Apex cutting boards to our family get together and I'll be using them to do the food prep.
Update Nov. 18th...Hi Gerry here. I just received my new Apex cutting board. I'm so happy because I forgot to repack my 2 Apex boards I took to our Family Christmas party. At least my brother is making good use of them. I was proudly showing my sister my Apex boards, and she said she just received her board but couldn't confirm if it was an Apex.
Again, thank you for the great customer service.

Terrible exTerrible experience – avoid this seller at all costsperience

Terrible experience – avoid this seller at all costs

I ordered a titanium pan online and emailed the seller just five minutes later to cancel the order. They refused, claiming that the item had already been handmade and packed within those five minutes — which is simply impossible. I reminded them that I have a legal 14-day right to cancel, but instead of accepting this, they kept repeating the same excuses and tried to pressure me with discounts.

They first offered a 15% discount, then increased it to 25%, but still refused to provide a return address. When the product finally arrived, it wasn’t even the same item shown on their website. The photos show a riveted handle, but the pan they sent was completely different.

I repackaged the item exactly as I received it and returned it to the address they eventually provided, which cost me an additional £54. After I sent it back, they suddenly raised the discount to 40% and asked me to recall the parcel. I refused and made it clear that I was exercising my legal right to return the item.

Despite returning the product at my own expense, they are still delaying and refusing to issue my refund. This seller has been dishonest, manipulative, and extremely unprofessional throughout the entire process.

I strongly warn others to stay away from this company. Even if they offered their products for free, I would never deal with them again.

Great products.

I ordered the Apex cutting boards and am very pleased with them
They are easy to clean and don't retain bacteria. I use them for all my chopping. They also dint dull my knives.
I am going to buy the frying pan when I return from my trip.

I have been looking for a good cutting…

I have been looking for a good cutting board that is clean and doesn’t stain or have residue from other foods imbedded into the wood or whatever the board is made of, and had 5 different boards for different food to not cross contaminate the foods but they didn’t come clean enough for me to feel confident there wasn’t anything to cause health issues! After replacing several of them, I saw the ad and decided I wanted to try one and ended up buying 4! So far I really enjoy using them and feel good that they clean nicely and I have no fear of any contaminates staying on the product! I recommend them, I think it was a good purchase!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE SELLERS

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE SELLERS! THEY ROB PEOPLE OFF!

I ordered a titanium hammered deep pan on 28th Nov 2025. Following a chaser email sent to check dispatch, the seller emailed confirming that the package was shipped along with providing a tracking number on 3rd Nov. The tracking details never showed any movement. On further chasing, on 6th Dec 2025 the seller gets in touch mentioning the item is out of stock! After lying initially about the product being disptached, the seller has the cheek to offer me only two options - to either wait for a period of another 2 weeks for the product to be restocked or to choose for another item which is starkly different. The seller is not processing refund or even offering to refund!!!! The price of the order is £112.00!!! Absolute thieves.

I thought it was a premium frying pan. Turn out it is cheap china made frying pan available at Tao Bao at 1/5 of the price I paid for.

Don’t buy from official website. Truly scam. Refund is difficult too, mailing fee and 15 % admin fee charges.

Generic Chinese pans

Unfortunately, this company is a scam, just sending Chinese made pans that are not even well packaged, arriving damaged. They are generic and you can buy same ones on amazon for £34, don’t use them. Can’t verify if they are actually titanium, but they’re not non-stick

DO NOT PURCHASE!

I purchased this product after reviewing the company’s claims regarding quality, durability, and customer satisfaction. The website prominently advertises a “100% Money Back Guarantee” and emphasizes risk-free purchasing, which gave me confidence in moving forward with my order.

Unfortunately, the cutting boards I received were the opposite of what I expected. The product was extremely thin, noticeably lower in quality, and did not match the expectations set by the company’s marketing. I am extremely unsatisfied and reached out to customer service to proceed with a return and refund.

They responded and I was told that they would not issue a refund because the product was “not defective.” This response directly contradicts their own guarantee, which clearly states that customers can receive a refund if the item is “not quite right.” There is no mention that a defect is required—only that the customer is not satisfied.

I replied with a screen shot of the website providing evidence of their posted policy. Which states
" 100% Money Back Guarantee(in bold black letters) followed by Extended Holiday Return - 100 Days Risk Free. We'll refund you if its not quite right for you or your loved ones."

After sending that email I have not heard back. This shows a clear unwillingness to stand behind their own guarantee or take responsibility for misleading product representation. It also raises concerns about how many customers are being denied refunds they are rightfully owed.

For potential buyers, it’s important to be aware of the following:
• The product quality did not match the description or photos.
• The company did not honor their “100% Money Back Guarantee.”
• Customer service was dismissive and unwilling to resolve the issue.
• The policies advertised on their website are not reflected in their actual practices.

Do not purchase from this company. The combination of misleading product representation and refusal to honor their own guarantee makes this a highly concerning seller. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision.
