After receiving good advice from an employee Iwe returned to the Apple Store in The Hague to purchase an iPad. Seven minutes before closing time we wanted to enter the store for a purchase. A very unfriendly female employee (didn’t catch a name) told us noone was allowed entry because it was too busy. Clearly there only a few cuto ers I side whileall the employee were hanging around waiting for closing time. The lady felt some kind of need to exert superiority by saying it was their decision to make and she didn’t have to explain further. Both in Words and posture very customer offputting and unbecomming of the the already fragalistic reputation of this store. It immediately killed the enthousiasm we had whiteboards trying to make purchase.

Endless phone calls and emails to end up nowhere, package was eventually found… DOING THE REQUEST FOR AN INVESTIGATION VIA UPS YOURSELF! Guess what? They still refuse to refund me. Scammers first class!! They do nothing but steal from you and run. Customer service is a joke, the fact they think they can get away with theft is insane! Proof and all and their management team don’t do anything either. Now imagine if they wanted their money… You’d end up in a lawsuit with them instantly bunch of scammers/thieves!

Oskar Employee experience at Apple Amsterdam
I have had an iphone that ended up with cracks for falling on the ground before, so for this reason, when I purchased my new phone I asked in the store what would be the best way to avoid this happening in the future. They recommended buying a specific case and cover, that they placed on the new iPhone themselves in the store. After 1x time falling to the ground, the phone cracked. So I went to the store to see if they could advise me on what to do. The employee Oskar just mentioned in a very unpolite way that there is nothing he can do. When I mentioned that I was disappointed by the service (or lack of it) because I had hoped at least for some efforts from their side to help, especially because they had recommended protecting the iphone this way, his only reply was that this is my opinion and we are in a free country where everyone can do what he wants and have his own opinion. The lack of wanting to help a client that followed all the advise at the purchase of the iphone is quiet shocking to me, overall from Oskar and the way he doesnt cares about clients.
Rude staff with racist behaviour
I was at the Amsterdam Apple Store today for shopping around 2:55 pm and asked for the warranty period of a ipad air in another specific country. This staffs first word to answer me was to call the prime minister of that country as a "mother.....er". He willingly said this 2 times out of context and I said I'm not a supporter of him but you shouldn't talk that way in your professional environment. He said "I don't care" and "when the elections happened your people celebrated very loud in my neighbourhood" etc.
I said I didn't like his approach and asked his name. We head to the exit and just then, only after he told me his name he walked by me and my wife, saying he didn't want to be rude, with a fake "sorry".
So I don't know if the management approves this kind of unprofessional, hostile behaviour in the store but I personally never recommend this store to anyone when this guy is around if you don't want to be treated this way. Some people never know the value of their jobs and dont show respect to their own companies and the clients.
Bad quality product and service.
I've had an apple watch for 2 months.
Screen cracked due to a high five, contacted support, considered physical damage, and expected to happen (not viewed as bad quality of device so not within warranty coverage)
They expect me to pay 250 EUR to replace the screen, when it cracked from a normal greeting.
No formal complaint procedure in place only way to log a complaint is to stay on the phone for 30-40 minutes being transferred from 1 handler to another.
I do not recommend purchasing this device, not unless you are willing to not have a normal life while it is on your wrist.
they drove me to tears
so if you lose your phone and have no other apple devices attached to your apple id. you. are. done. If you try to set up your apple id with the new phone, apple will make your life impossible with endless two factor authentification and will not accept anything else except for the missing phone. They have driven me insane, I cannot conceive of a world in which both apple and myself continue to exist happily. apple help is also straight useless.

My favorite company, I really cant imagine using any different production rather than apple now. All the phones that I was buying are only better and better. Its so easy in using. Yes it is pretty expensive but in my opinion it is worth it in the end of the day. Plus this phones can work for you for years and still be in the perfect condition

It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to sit and write what happened to me with Apple Store Amsterdam.
As you all know, I have been what you call an “Appleholic” for more than 13around 12 years, forming lines to get your latest products the day the come out, not only for me, but for my loved ones as well. I have been a fan because your customer service has always been way beyond exceptional, not only in Amsterdam, where I reside, but worldwide.
Also, it is widely known that the 2016 Macbook Pro Touch Bar had a defective keyboard and was ordered to be replaced. I guess that when the keyboard was changed something was left disconnected and I had to take to a retailer to get it fixed. We noticed that the screen had a crack similar to my dog’s hair. So I decided to take to the computer to the main Apple store in Amsterdam.
I talked to a girl who helped me check in my computer to be fixed and then I asked her to please call her manager because I wanted to make a formal a complaint. In comes Christian, who is the General Manager there, and I noticed he was looking at me inappropriately, and I proceeded to give him in the detail all the situation that was happening with my computer, and told him I was going to take responsibility for it (I had already signed all the documents taking full responsibility before talking to him) and I agreed to paid the repair, which total was near 849 EUR.
I wanted to make sure that the issues the computer had and what I had gone throw with it be known by him so I told him I had a recording of the conversation of what the technician at the retailer told me what he thought was going on.
Christian, upon hearing this started acting defensively and telling me that I am not allowed to record or take pictures at Apple Amsterdam, yet other customers where doing so. He thought I had recorded him… I also informed him that by law, if I wanted too, I could record anything I want to in the whole country without permission. He hastily decided to delete my complaint that the girl who had assisted me previously had graciously typed in previously.
After I left the store I received a call from Christian telling me that he had decided not service my computer. I told him that my lawyer would get in contact with him and hung up. He kept calling me several times almost to the point that I felt assaulted.
My lawyer proceeded to send him a letter to Apple and Christian called my lawyer, and my lawyer had to tell him to calm down because he was too emotional and that in that way would be hard to fix the situation.
After this I contacted Apple Europe on June 2020 and talked to a Jr Manager who understood my situation as very empathetic with me, he gave me a confirmation number for the fixing of my computer and told me that I should be receiving it soon. Well, I did receive an empty box, but with nothing in it. Christian keeps insisting not fixing my computer and has yet to give me my computer back.
Keep in mind this has been happening since the end of October 2019. I have lost many projects and thousands of euros in investments because I have had to share someone else’s computer.
It is August 2020 and I still don’t have my computer. Christian insisted in acting like a child and completely immature and refuses to fix the computer and because of this principle I need to take Apple to court.
I have decided to make my situation public because of the childish behaviour given by the GM of the Apple Amsterdam store who represents this distinguished brand. Oh, and my amazing lawyer, Gerard Geelkerken, one of the top lawyers in Netherlands, will be taking this court because justice needs to be served and we cannot live in a world we’re an immature General Manager decides whether or not discriminating people.
So, if you are in the Amsterdam area, and have issues or want to purchase an Apple product, please abstain yourself from going to the Apple store in Amsterdam.

Heard about the option to trade in my 18 month old iPhone 5S if buying a new one. Tried to find out the estimated value based on IMEI and Serial No. Now this is really difficult.
1. The website table, where you can assess, does not work.
2. The Apple Customer Care, although friendly, can not assist, but referred to the website (which does not work!). Then they refer to a 3rd party company called Bightstar.com
3. This company definitively can/will not help asking me to contact ... guess who ... yes, Apple (from where I was referred to!).
4. Maybe they just want you NOT to find out the value in advance and force you to go to their shop, stand in the queue and then get a sales speach.

My personal experience with Apple products (Ipods, Macbooks, iMac) have been extremely positive. Never any breakdowns, good battery life good design. The only thing I dont like is the magic mouse without a right mouse button. But overall: their products are amazing and higly recommended. On the Apple site you will rarly come across some special deals like a free ipod touch with you macbook. However, this does not happen often enough. Give us more discount please!

If you like premium brands with premium quality, Apple is the one for you. they produce excellent products to create a fullfilling user experience.
Yes it is true I like apple products, not a big fan of OSX, but it does what it is suppose to do and the hardware looks good.
The thing I like most about Apple is: whatever you buy, it will be a carefully thought out product. If you wil love it is another question but it will be one of the very best in its class. you can buy apple products almost unseen.
