Purchased a fridge freezer in June was constantly fobbed off on del date then told it was out of stock never at time of purchase was i made aware of this, was kept moving the goal post. Eventually i had enough and requested a refund 8th aug i was told it would take 21 working days and then since nothing but excuses as to why we cannot be refunded, accountant was out of office then they have a back log the told to contact the bank and ask the bank to pay it back to me through the recharge system yesterday 12th Oct i contacted the bank and got a refund through the bank worst company i have ever ever used wish i had read reviews before i paid for the item worst customer service unable to call them constantly had to chase and never received k,y money back through them refunding me DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY it feels like i was scammed

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, I ordered a freezer, delayed delivery to a month and still no freezer in sight. Cancelled order after a wait of more than a month and stupid excuses, unfortunately still not received refund 3 months on.

One star is too high but no option to zero rate. I have been trying to help a friend who ordered and paid for a cooker in May this year. Cooker never arrived & after chasing many times (phone and email), eventually advised they were unable to get the cooker! Requested an immediate refund but was advised “you have to go through the cancellations email address”. Did this & email received auto response stating 21 days for a refund. Here we are in OCTOBER & still no refund. They are not answering calls or responding to emails (other than automated response). My friend is not well & the stress of all of this is making her worse. This company has had her money since May 17th. Totally disgusting & should not be allowed to trade. I will be seeking recourse for her through legal channels and can only warn others DO NOT USE THESE SCAMMERS.

If i could give zero stars I would! Ordered a dishwasher in July 2021, they had manufacturing issues so major delay in delivery times so i requested a refund to complete my project on time. No refund... No dishwasher. And no reply to emails. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

As per the general theme here. Ordered back in August based on a 3 working day delivery, told after paying it would take 2/3 weeks.
Cancelled the order, told refund would be 21 working days. Now at 31 working days and still no refund.
Based on the other reviews, it might take a while to get the refund.

I don't even want to put one star!! I had to cancel an order for a gas hob that was out of stock in July and wasn't expected back in until after our new kitchen was being fitted at the earliest. I sent a cancellation email, as instructed, on 15th July and I'm STILL waiting for a refund! Obviously, I paid THEM the day I placed the order. Absolutely appalling customer service - can't get them on the phone (there's a recorded message saying try again later or email on customer care). I've emailed on customer care who, when they bother to reply, say I have to email the cancellations email address with my order number etc, even though I've now done that 9 times! Get the automated response every time saying it'll take a while to refund, but nothing more. Max 21 working days, it says. It's now been over two months and I STILL don't have my money back!!! I'll be posting reviews on any website I can find about the terrible service, and looking at other ways of pursuing the debt. Don't use them!!! I expect the response from them will say 'covid/brexit' are the cause. I just want my money!! I bet they won't pay any interest on it! Shocking.

Having recieved a cheque for the full amount only to find that the cheque was a rubber one it bounced better that a kids rubber ball.
And this was signed by a Mrs Rebecca Beasley the company director of dexter holdings

Ordered a fridge freezer on 20/7/21, expected delivery within 3weeks. With no further contact on 11/7/21 I emailed to be told item not in stock and would be another 6weeks wait, I obviously requested a refund. After another 4 emails I am still no nearer to getting my money and unable to get through on the phone as they are too busy according to the automated message. Do not trust this company

Absolutely terrible service, I ordered a chest freezer in February this year and have still not received the goods.
Many emails to enquire on delivery date each promising soon, I was eventually informed in July that they could not supply and to cancel the order and apply for a refund, after 6 weeks I received a cheque….this has just bounced.
I find it absolutely incredulous that a company can operate in this way.
Their response to the returned cheque was to resubmit…this is not actually possible since it was referred to drawer…yet another delay…scandalous
