Total scammers, stay away at ALL costs. They replaced my dishwasher motor, it worked for 2 washes then didn’t work again. It took the guy 2 weeks to come back and look at it - when it took them 2 days to replace the motor and get paid $600 - he told me it broke again and that I’d be refunded. Still haven’t been refunded, the company isn’t answering my calls or emails nor is the “technician.” Do your research!!! Do not go with these people, they will take your money and leave you with a broke appliance!!!

Add me to the list of unsatisfied victims. Way overcharged when the promise to remove diagnostic charge upon agreement for repair was neglected. Got charged for everything... and 3 months of waiting for reimbursement for nothing. I am very disappointed and feel taken advantage of. absolutely not recommended at all.

This company is a SCAM!!! They come in and do a diagnostic on your appliance and tell you need a part. They give you a cheap used defective part that keeps breaking down while you think you are paying for new parts. We paid $734.50 to have our fridge fixed from icing and they did not fix the issue. They delay in getting back to you so your 3 month warranty expires as happened to us. When you call customer service or email them you get a rude guy by the name of Benjamin who will talk over you and then hang up on you. Save yourself the time, money and mental anguish by not hiring them you will regret it like we have. This is a SCAM Company and they are unethical. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

Scam Artists- What they do is they preform a "pre-diagnostic" and charge you for the bogus visit. Then they get you to purchase a part in advance and purposeful delays with that prepaid part play out. This is not a real business but a scam mechanism Do not use. They need to be shut down and jailed.

The technician fumbled about trying to fix the problem then after trying something he wasn't confident in lasting, pressed us later that evening for immediate payment, which we promptly attended to. The next day it was clear the issue wasn't fixed. Since then (4 months ago), we. have tried to get a refund. The follow-up customer service and response to endless phonecalls and emails went unanswered. I would warn ANYONE from engaging any business with this awful excuse for a repair service. DON'T DO IT!!

Terrible experience. I received two rude calls today from their customer service director, Benjamin. They charged me $135 for services that were never provided. Benjamin said he would waive the charge and even give me a $30 credit—but only if I left a 4- or 5-star review on their website. I told him I don’t want any credit and won’t post a fake review; I just don’t want to be billed for something they didn’t do. He told me to expect the bill and hung up on me. The issue started when my fridge made a buzzing sound, and I called yesterday and they had same day service available. Half an hour later, the noise stopped, so I called back and canceled, as there was nothing for a technician to inspect. They said it was fine. Now I’ve been billed anyway. Unethical and unprofessional behavior—offering bribes for reviews and charging for services not rendered.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!! They have changed names in Kelowna and seems like a common theme for them due to the reviews and fake reviews in their website. Over a year ago I tried to cancel them for three days. Phone calls emails and never responded. A person showed up and I told them they were csncelled. The next day the threatening calls and emails started saying they are sending to collections over $144 call out. I have requested a signed contract which was never provided and have submitted a claim to consumer protection. What ever you do, stay away!

Our freezer had stopped cooling. We explained the problem and booked a technician through here. The technician did a very quick check of the freezer and said it needed coolant but another tech would have to come to do the repair. The tech told us they did a temporary fix and it would cool until the other tech came out. We were charged $130 and the tech said that it would go toward the repair when it was completed. The freezer did not work at all after they left and the company did not send another tech. After repeated calls, they finally said that they didn’t have a tech to do the repair. They refused to give any type of refund and we have emailed the manager multiple times without a response. Don’t waste your money, call someone else!

Update: The quality manager finally contacted us and offered a refund. We are waiting for it to be processed and will confirm when it has been.

They are scammers, I cancelled my service app in 10 minutes after booking the appoinment because of an emergency for my son in the school but they sent me a bill of $100.00 for the cancellation

Scammers DO NOT USE Their website portrays a reputable company but they are not. No real google reviews, customer service doesn't call back, no interest in repairing problems.

The guy that came out tried to rip me off by sending me downstairs to turn off the power in the mean time he said he took out a part which he showed me and put in his tool box and I took it to keep it. When he left after giving me a hefty bill I checked to see if the part was from my fridge ( because my fridge is fairly new and the part looked dirty) and it ended up it’s not even from my make of fridge. I call the guy who’s number I had and told him I was going to report him to the police if he didn’t refund me my money and he apologized and quickly e transferred me my money. Total crook!
It’s been a while so I can’t remember the exact date but I did report him to the police.

Although Appliance Repair Expert was quick to answer my service request and send a repair person, the overall service was not satisfactory. A broken drain pump was blamed for my problem and replaced at vast cost. My washing machine is however still leaking after multiple call backs and I have come to the conclusion that these guys are either a fly-by-night operation and/or does not know what they are doing. $500 later and I still have a leaking washing machine. TO BE AVOIDED!

I also could not get the company to respond. They came and diagnose the problem with our LG washer and then did not answer their phone and kept assuring me the technician would find our part and then call me. He never called.

On August 26, 2025 I completed an online request for service regarding a refrigerator that was no longer cooling. A short time later, an individual with an extremely heavy accent called to set up an appointment. This gentleman was hard to understand and was asked to repeat much of what he was discussing. At no time during this call did he mention that cancellation would result in a charge of $129 plus GST. An appointment was confirmed giving a 4pm to 8pm window. A short time later, our usual repair firm called back as they had a cancellation and could arrive within minutes. I called Appliance Repair Experts and from their automated system selected the appointment cancellation option which rang for a long time before hanging up. I tried again moments later and the same thing happened. A short time later, the technician called and I advised him of my unsuccessful attempts at cancellation and cancelled the appointment with him. Within a half hour, we got a call from Appliance Repair Experts with the gentleman advising that I had agreed to pay the amount even if the appointment was cancelled. I advised him that I had not agreed to any cancellation charge and as a result, would dispute any request for payment. He advised that non-payment would result in the charge being sent to a collection agency. I followed up by sending an email to the firm advising them that if they pursued this matter, I would speak with our lawyer and report them to the BBB for unethical business practices and did not receive a response. The firm emailed an invoice on August 30 which we responded to via email and again, no response. On September 8, we received an email threatening collection and that they would report us to the BBB. Since we never agreed to a cancellation charge, either online or by phone, we will not pay this charge, nor will we accept harassment in their attempt to collect this bogus invoice. We have reported this firm to the BBB.

Can't give them zero stars, but would like to be able to give that or negative stars. Trying to contact about previous work which was not done properly, but can't even get someone to pick up the phone. Customer service is their priority.

On August 18 I called appliance repair expert about my LG fridge showing an error code, they send a technician guy called Muhammad Hassan, the guy he checked the freezer and he said that the thermostat need to be replaced, and he said the part with the labour will cost 471,62 $ , next day he replaced the thermostat and the defrost heater and I paid him 471,62 $ , so next day on August 19, I got the Same error code on my fridge, I call the technician Muhammad Hassan, he said now we have to change the PCB board and he asked me to pay another 380$ plus tax, that I can’t offered anymore, I called the company through their website phone number, someone told me that he will investigate the issue and back to me, but no one call me back. So technically I paid 471 $ for nothing and still I have the same error code on my fridge.
I would not recommend anyone to deal with them, they are a big scammers.

Horrible service ghosted on return repair not complete, part never came in, called manufacturer and sent over the proper repair guy and part along with guarantee for one year.

Misdiagnosed the issue and refused refund or reinspection. Dishwasher still leaks, and now they’re ignoring my calls and emails. Terrible after-service—avoid this company

THis is the third email lI had to send with still zero response. Between my brother and I we tried all the numbers and emails we could find on their website and we got absolutely no response! I think they are a scam! DO NOT USE THEM!
I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration regarding the unacceptable treatment my elderly mother has received from your company.

My mother, who is 82 years old, paid $268.80 for a repair to her refrigerator, only for it to stop working again the very next day. Since she does not have a cell phone or computer, my brother and I have been desperately trying to coordinate with your company to schedule another repair, but our efforts have been met with complete disregard and horrible customer service.

Initially, I was impressed that someone came out quickly to fix her fridge, but that impression has been shattered. After paying, it seems your company has completely neglected her needs. Most disturbing is the recent interaction where your technician called her and said he would come "sometime tomorrow" but refused to confirm a specific time and told her, "DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN." speaks to her disrespectfully, and the tone of that call was appalling.
Furthermore, I find it unacceptable that your technician, who apparently brought his son and offered her ice cream, treats her with such dismissiveness and rudeness. This is not how anyone should be treated--especially an elderly woman during a heatwave, relying on her freezer and frozen water jugs to preserve her food.
My brother finally managed to speak with someone, only to be hung up on multiple times when trying to get a proper response or resolution. This level of customer service is utterly unprofessional and makes us question if your company is legitimate or if we are being scammed.
I am beyond furious and disappointed. Your lack of communication, blatant disrespect, and failure to fulfill your contractual obligations are unacceptable. I demand an immediate explanation and a firm appointment for your technician to return and repair her refrigerator as soon as possible.
If I do not receive a satisfactory response promptly, I will consider pursuing further action, including filing complaints with consumer protection agencies.

Guy came quick to look at the washer and said it needed new pump and motor brushes. He said he would get the parts and fix immediately after. He later said he got the parts and would fix next day. He never came and ghosted me, will not answer my calls. Got a friend to call him on their cellphone and he answered right away.
