Good customer support after spa stopped working
UPDATED 5-16-24 : I'm revising my review and adding a star based on 1) the great support I received from the manufacturer's technical rep and 2) I was more annoyed than objective when I wrote it and it wasn't entirely fair to the vendor.
Yesterday, after several days of phone calls, a lot of troubleshooting, and finally replacing a fuse without results, rep David advised that he would be setting up a technician to come to the house and asked for my address to Fedex several components. As promised, this morning I received notice of two inbound Fedex packages. Hopefully the tech will get the spa working correctly.
As far as the spa itself, assuming this unfortunate glitch is resolved, it is a real value for a good-looking 110V, plug in spa. Two design complaints, both easily remedied by the manufacturer if they choose to correct them:
1- access to the internal controls, to the drain hose - anything you need to do inside the unit - requires you to unscrew about 8-10 screws and it's a royal pain; I've never seen a spa without a dedicated access hatch or easily removed panels with latches. SO annoying yet so easy to correct.
2- Second, the on-deck control panel - which is likely one of the parts being replaced - is just awful. It is tiny, it looks like a toy, and with only four buttons, it requires complex repeated presses of the tiny numbers to access any of the many features the spa offers. I had a far better control panel in a spa I purchased over 10 years ago which made things so much easier; with tech this cheap, the company should ditch the current unit and upgrade to a better control panel.
It would be a very inexpensive upgrade to what otherwise appears to be a quality spa but much appreciated by customers.
ORIGINAL POST: Spa arrived on time and perfectly but stopped working after a few days and seller does not provide support. Day two of calls with manufacturer, problem not resolved yet.

I’m a little annoyed that I’ve been asked to rate my purchase when I haven’t received it yet. It’s been 5 weeks and the site says “fast shipping”. Contacted support and they said I selected the factory direct option but I didn’t. They said my model was not in stock and has to come from the manufacturer. That’s fine and I might be ok with the 8 weeks ship date but I wasn’t informed that upon checkout. Ugh. Then I get multiple emails asking to rate my purchase. So here you go.

Wonderful Service
It was a tremendous pleasure working with the staff at your company. Amy was amazing and went above & beyond in fielding all my questions. She was quick with email responses providing clear and informative information. She as well was delightful and informative in the phone contacts I made. Additionally other staff members were helpful and showed genuine desire to assist. I even received a phone call informing me of the possibility of having my hot tub shipped to me sooner. That was wonderfully unexpected. In this age of poor service it was a delight working with the AguaRest Outlet staff.

A great spa at a great price! I received my spa quickly and without damage. Super easy setup too. I filled it and let the temperature to come, which took a few days set on eco mode. After it was warm, I got in and relaxed!!! Perfect fit for me!!

Complete scam artists
Complete scam artists. I paid extra to have a spa delivered via “Quick Ship Guarantee” 5-7 days. After almost two weeks, a delivery was scheduled by the shipping company (chosen by AquaRest, not myself). We took the day off and waited all day for delivery… the spa never came. AquaRest told us “too bad, not our fault” on two occasions, even thought they collected an extra $200 plus tax for faster delivery. Another week later and we still don’t have our spa, but they have our money. We told them we wanted a refund and they refused, saying we would owe 3% credit card fee (we did NOT pay using a credit card and confirmed that Affirm does NOT charge the merchant any fees) PLUS $150 to inspect the spa even though it was never delivered to us. They would even return the $200 for the faster delivery saying “they met their obligation.”
