Absolutely horrible

Absolutely horrible. Don’t buy from them. If they make a mistake a send you a set of books that are missing chapters, duplicating chapters, etc. THEY WILL NOT FIX IT OR REFUND YOUR MONEY. THEY SAY OOPS WE PROCESSED FROM THE WRONG FILE. HAVE A NICE DAY. They did this from on of their printings and an entire audience for that set got screwed. You would be better off donating your money to a nice charity and at least have a good feeling out of it rather than being conned.

Disappointing Customer Service & Lack of Care

Pre-ordered a trilogy of books from my favorite author in June 2024 based on the sneak previews. While I did receive the items in December, a month after they were promised, for over $120 the quality of the product received does not match what was paid. The dust jacket art does not match the content at all, but what is worse is that the manuscript is littered with typos, poor formatting, and missing chunks of text. The author herself was concerned by what her fans were reporting and contacted Arcane Society. The company's response is to offer customers money back if they also ship the books back. There is no public acknowledgement of the issue and the issues affect the whole print run. They will not correct the issue or reissue the books. The handling of the situation by the company is a disappointment. I was considering subscribing to their monthly book box or purchasing other sets but given their lack of care in producing this set or making it right with their customers I will not be purchasing from the company in the future. Overall, what was supposed to be my greatest joy and a gift to myself has been a heartbreaking disappointment. Buy from this company at your own risk.

Edit 1/18/25 - The company issued an email on 1/15/25 to all customers who purchased the set making an apology and offering full refunds. According to the email they will not be reprinting. Others have reported that the copies will be destroyed. Many fans are still upset with how this was handled.
