Kim and her crew at the terminal in Salt Lake City (149) went above and beyond for us just now, I had a lot of back and forth contact with her regarding a shipment that we had to change from delivery to dock pickup AND we had a very tight timeline to meet our customer's need and her group knocked it out of the park! I want to make sure they get the kudos they rightfully deserve!

Multiple cancelled deliveries and incompetent, arrogant staff with a genuine lack of accountability. 24 days for 1 pallet to be shipped from Virginia to Toronto. Every excuse in the book from their Brampton location why they cant make a simple cross city delivery. This company seems confused and lack any sort of customer facing service. Management advises that individual locations have autonomy to do as they please and not follow any NMFC guidelines. I personally will avoid EVER using this company again. You don't have to read very many reviews to see they deliver this same substandard level of service to most of their customers. This is a buyer beware company that deserves a 0 rating.

I’m absolutely appalled by ABF Freight's handling of my shipment and their unwillingness to take responsibility for their mistakes.
Here’s what happened: ABF admits that my goods were misloaded onto the wrong truck, and that truck later had an accident. But even though they acknowledge their mistake, they’re still only offering a minimal compensation of around $1000, despite my shipment being valued at $9000 USD.
This is outrageous. No matter how the goods were lost or damaged—whether due to misloading, theft, or an accident—ABF has made it clear that they will only compensate the minimum amount stipulated by their policy. Even though they’ve admitted their fault, they still won’t provide fair compensation based on the actual value of my shipment.
Their excuse? "The causation of the loss or damage does not affect the carrier’s liability limitation." What kind of service is that? If they admit fault, how can they justify offering such a paltry amount for a loss that was entirely their responsibility?
It feels like ABF is doing everything they can to avoid being accountable for their actions. I strongly advise anyone shipping with ABF to beware. They don’t care about their customers, and they certainly don’t take responsibility for their mistakes. They seem content to just offer the bare minimum, even when their actions directly lead to significant losses.

We had a delivery of an excavator to our property. It is a massive machine. Our driver had to carefully maneuver this extremely expensive equipment onto the gale-lift and balance it perfectly within an inch -- so it would not topple over. Our deliveryman, Chad, knew exactly what he was doing and got our excavator down to ground level safely. We will definitely use ArcBest again.

I had an elliptical delivered 03/03 and it was a curbside delivery. My husband was still at work, so I had no one here to help me get it into the house. The delivery man, Michael, took pity on me and brought it to the porch! I know that he had ZERO obligation to do this, so I appreciated how AMAZING he was! He LITERALLY could have dropped it at the curb, and took the stance, that according to the delivery instructions, he fulfilled his obligation. I am BEYOND happy that he chose to be a caring human being, instead of the alternative. Thanks Michael!!

I recently utilized ArcBest for the white glove delivery of my table, and I was extremely disappointed with the entire experience. Communication with the team was poor from start to finish, making it difficult to address questions and concerns.
The delivery was not on time, which caused further frustration. Setting up the table was a struggle. They left all the garbage and pallets at my front door instead of taking them as promised, creating a mess in the snow outside my home.
To make matters worse, after leaving the mess and showing a lack of care for my property, the workers had an attitude when I tipped them which felt inadequate considering the poor service I received.
Overall, I cannot recommend ArcBest for white glove delivery. The lack of professionalism and failure to follow through on promises left me with a negative impression. I expected much better service for my investment.

Shipping estimates from Orlando Fl. to Panama City Fl. Picked up, February 4, estimate delivery February 17 ?Unbelievable! How does these guys ship? On mule wagons? It is the same shipping time as from Europe to Florida.....it unheard of in today's world of goods transport, i was sure USPS was bad but these guys does it worse

This campaign is a huge fraud and I will explain why because I have no control over the government.
They created something called a bid board.
Hundreds of companies and drivers offer each of them their own price and agree to do the work and this campaign always chooses the lowest one.
In 2001, the installment on the market was about $ 1.35 and currently the installments per mile are about $ 0.75 Cent. Due to the great competition, these rates are decreasing.
If you are thinking of working for this company, think twice whether your life is worth it

I placed an order with B&H photo on August 8, 2024 for a Samsung S90D 65" television. B&H shipped it on 8/9 with ABF
Your website listed delivery on 8/18. I called ABF shortly before the delivery date when your website showed that the TV was on its way to South Chicago. I was told that their website was wrong. Your representative told me that delivery would be on 8/22.
ABF subsequently changed the website to say delivery would be on 8/21. I called again and was told that the website was again wrong and that delivery would be on 8/22.
Today, 8/22, I waited home all day to receive the TV, but got a call from ABF at about 3:45, saying you couldn't deliver the TV, but that I could meet your driver somewhere and they'd load the TV into my car. Apart from the fact that I paid for delivery to my home, I am 77 years old and am not physically capable of unloading a 65" TV from my car. When I refused the offer, I was told that you could try to redeliver in a smaller truck at some unspecified time in the future.
I have lived in the same home for 46 years. NEVER in that time have I been told by anyone else that they could not deliver a package to my home. I've received a refrigerator, washers and dryers, roofing materials for a new roof, and other items significantly larger than a 65" TV.
I do not wish to deal with you any more. I have asked B&H to have you redeliver the TV to B&H and to credit my account for the purchase price. I'll make do with my old TV.
I will never order anything again from a vendor who intends to ship the product to me using your company. If you believed in honesty in advertising, you'd rename your company from Arcbest to Arcworst.

The shipment number was 231350504. You are apparently now returning the TV to B&H as lackadaisically as you were delivering it to me. I hope you get it back to B&H within the next week or so, because B&H won't refund my money until the TV is returned to them.
I only gave you one star because that was the least I could give. You actually deserve a large negative amount of stars. You are hopelessly incompetent.

They damaged my floors when they sent one person to manhandle a very heavy treadmill (Sole F89) by himself with no equipment to do the work (the worker hurt his arm in this process) and they have stopped responding to my claim for the damage and seem to be insinuating I damaged my own floors. Incredible. Still waiting to get this resolved.
As of August 31, no resolution to the damage they caused. No dialogue. One thing is for sure, I won't stop demanding they take full responsibility for the damage they caused to my home.
