Bot detection tool challenges
Bot detection tool and human verification process was a confusing hassle during the payment process. The instructions about navigating a solution were not easy to follow. Eventually got the payment to process and am excited about arrival of newly ordered jacket. Our family has been impressed with Arc'teryx products over the years!

Arcteryx Repair their Clothing really well
I have used Arcteryx gear for many years since buying it in Canada. I noticed that I had been too heavy handed with the waist chord of my Jacket and it had split through the taping and stitching. I sent it off to Arcteryx UK after filling in their online form, which was straight forward. Within two weeks it was back fully repaired and as good as new, at no cost to me. Fantastic service, great gear.

I got the neccessary info needed to totally assess my purchase. A great hjelp for the professional who is always in a hurry!! And free postage is really great.
Convoluted order process
Convoluted order process. Site says product not available and I got hit with an Arc'teryx Bot check that wouldn't let me go. Signed out and back in. Now showed 5 available. Filled out all the info, then it said product not available. Signed out and back in. Ordered again, site said less than 5 available. That order went through, I guess??? Even your date of experience box below is weird.

Unprofessional lack of customer services in shop
Excellent service and patience by the staff at the Dollarton shop, thats not the issue. But I find it cheap that you don't provide a restroom for paying customers instead the security guard directed me to a Starbucks further down and across the street! Apparently my $800 didn't go to provide customer services after they've paid up, providing that service and not burden other companies in order to save a dime, especially when trying to tap into a higher tier and more city oriented clothing styles, seems cheap and very unprofessional. Not what I'd expect.

The worst browsing experience ever! The bot check on their website is the most stupid thing I've ever had, it just stopped me from viewing their products for no reasons. I use chrome btw, I had no issues browsing any other websites at all.

Awful customer service experience and…
Awful customer service experience and Arc’teryx does not stand by their products. I have a Arc`teryx jacket that needed repair since the zippers broke.
I sent the jacket to Arc’teryx as per instruction. According to the customer service, the "The down in the Jacket and the fabric are worn and not restorable anymore" and offered me a 20% voucher. 20%! I almost get that by just signing a newsletter. Seriously.
Compare that to companies like Patagonia and Fjällräven which will either try to repair their products, or replace them with a new one as they are proud of their products and qualities. I even have better experience with H&M warranties which would say a lot. Not worth the price. They are so many more companies providing better quality products with better warranties for less amount of money.

Is it worth the extra money?
I bought a Beta LT jacket costing £400...after 2 seasons it started to wear heavily on the pocket area because I put things in my pockets, thats what theyre for right?, and started to split. I sent it to be repaired and was willing to pay.. My jacket is Illiad in colour, a blue turquoise.. I was offered Red, Blue, or a shade of black and it would be a rectangular patch over the worn area.. Wth? Waste of money buy another brand less expensive. So much for the repair system for the life of the garment! Ask yourself is it worth the extra or are you paying for the logo... Don't fall into the trap..

Barrier to completion
Such a difficult barrier to completing a transaction. I had to get my bank on the line to ensure completion. I didn't have to order something as a gift, then I will mostlikely no use this option again

The website experience was horrendous
The website experience was horrendous. A blocker kept popping up and prevented me from shopping like a normal person. I have no idea why Arcteryx has such a blocker, no other website on the planet has this. This forced me to take considerably longer to make my purchase. Had to close, then open, then close, then open the website, etc for like an hour to get this blocker off. I likely won't shop online again.

We have bought 2 rain jackets for a fortune.
They chose to glue the bottom of jackets, so now after we washed it at 30 degrees, the glue has come off and the jackets look like a joke.
I just don't understand!!!

Returned Items!
I returned a jacket over a month ago (1-June), and still haven't been reimbursed. Arcteryx keep saying they are investigating, the courier stipulates an investigation takes 6 working days, but won't go any further as the account belongs to Arcteryx,
I have tried multiples times to resolve via email, to no avail.
There is no clear policy on lost/returned items, which is crazy for such a large company, and I'm still out of pocket for their courier misplacing their Jacket.
Whilst I appreciate items can be lost or misplaced by couriers, investigations do not take this long, the jacket has clearly been lost.
Arcteryx customer service used to be second to none, but they have failed miserably on this occasion, just like their downgraded courier service from DPD - maybe they should revert back to Fedex!
7 days since... "In order for us to assist you further, we will reach out through this platform for more information on your case."

Customer care misaligned with brand positioning
I raised the issue of unusual wear on one boot and was asked to bring the product to the store for verification. At the store, they took pictures, returned the boot to me, and emailed customer care. By the time customer care responded, the purchase date had expired by one week, and they said they couldn't do anything.
Given the brand's reputation, the focus shouldn't be on the expired warranty but on addressing an unacceptable quality issue and retaining a loyal customer.
