I purchased a Beta jacket for my son as a Christmas gift. When it arrived, I was surprised by the materials almost “crisp packet” feel, which immediately raised concerns about durab... See more

Just came for my third Alpha SV "Stone Wash"
Been using this jackets for the past 20 years, from rain, climbing, skating, biking etc. and don't regret every single dime spent. From customer service online and in person, warranty it is truly amazing how a company shapes from design to giving back using as recyclable material as possible.. thumbs up to the whole team ! :)

Placed an order for about 13000 pln, the money from the card charged, in the panel of the store for several days no information about my order, no email with confirmation of the order, complete silence. There was supposed to be express shipping and I don't even have a clue what's going on with my order. After sending a message to support no response. Please contact me urgently order number 0031847756
There website is completely broken
Their website is completely broken. It flags me as a bot every 10 seconds making the site compeltely unusable. I've tried on multiple browsers. Their web developers need to be fired, what a horrible anti-consumer feature.
worst online shopping experience ever
This might be the most frustrating online shopping experience I've ever had with ANY retailer.
1. the website is slow AF - adding to cart takes more than 10s to load, opening the cart takes 30s+ to load, everything is exacerbated by the slow loading speed because of the #s of retries I have to do.
2. there must be some stock discrepancy between the website and their backend that results in the delivery options failing to load. "we've encountered a technical difficulty, please try again later - Return to Cart" I've probably seen this error more than 50 times in the days that I was trying to make a purchase not knowing one of my items probably is out of stock. So I randomly pick off cart items to see if that will fix the issue and it's like the most frustrating game of "Guess who" to find the random combination of products that will get me to the checkout screen delivery options successfully
3. even after I get to the payment section I've encountered "Cannot connect to payment method, please try again" more than 10 times. AND GOD FORBID there's any stock change during the load times and you have to start with #2 all over again. I REPEATED THIS HELL for the past HOURS and DAYS.
4. I also had a gift card to apply to this purchase, which when the payment fails the balance of the gift card is held for a WHOPPING 24+ HOURS. so I had to wait, and be greeted with #2 and #3 above in the past few days.
the product sells itself already, PLEASE HIRE A GOOD SOFTWARE ENGINEER AND FIX YOUR WEBSITE.
It’s really a shame…
It’s really a shame how bad Arc’teryx’s service has become. I’ve been buying and loving their garments for over 20 years, dating back to when they were actually manufactured in Canada. 2x in the last year I’ve tried to make a big purchase from their website, one for Mt Everest and the other for a big back country ski trip. Both were a goat rodeo. Each time I’d get an obscure error message and after hours of fighting thru customer support the message was “you are trying to place too big of an order and our systems think you are going to resell the merchandise”. Huh? This isn’t limited supply stuff. Isn’t rule #1 of retail to keep the cash registers rolling. It’s frankly a complete embarrassment for this once great company. The only reason I fight my way thru it is because they still make the best shells and ski pants.
Poor quality boots
Bought an expensive pair of boots, but the sole split. 3inch split described as fair wear! When the tread is almost unmarked.
Fault report 01494938 in case anyone from Arcteryx wants to check the criticism is genuine.
Had my RA number but no promotion code
Had my RA number but no promotion code. Had never received or lost code but within a matter of minutes my case was found and a new code was issued.
Great job in helping me out.
POOR Customer Service from Arc'teryx Australia
I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Arc'teryx AU's customer service, particularly with Nathan, who handled my case.
After numerous emails regarding a missing delivery, Nathan repeatedly provided the same "proof of signature on delivery" from June, even though I had already informed Australia Post that I did not sign for the package. Australia Post confirmed that the item had been left outside, and I had never signed for it. This package required a signature, yet Nathan seemed to ignore this fact entirely.
When I contacted Australia Post, they instructed me to ask Arc'teryx to contact them directly to resolve the issue. I informed Nathan of this on 15th August, but despite multiple follow-up emails, he did absolutely nothing. Instead, he kept pushing me to "lodge a dispute with Australia Post," completely disregarding Australia Post's clear instruction that Arc'teryx, as the business customer, needed to handle this.
I would appreciate if someone with the ability to understand the timeline of this issue could handle my case, as Nathan has been unhelpful and unresponsive. Alternatively, please give me a call so I can explain the situation clearly.
It’s incredibly frustrating when a customer service representative not only fails to take action but also ignores key information. Nathan’s lack of responsiveness and refusal to assist has left me with no resolution after months of back-and-forth. Very disappointing service from Arc'teryx.

nice nice nice
No sales to people with different shipping and billing addresses …
I tried to buy a rain coat but because my credit card billing address is different from my shipping address, Arcterex wont process the order due to its security policy. It’s odd that the website has these billing/shipping address input sections if policy doesn’t allow them to process the order. The upside is that customer service was prompt and professional, and agreed that this is confusing

Press and hold does not work
Press and hold does not work, and makes the site unusable!
The new "bot detection tool" completely stops me from using the website, when pressing and holding it just ends up with a blue button and nothing more happens.
Time to find a new brand for cloting, as you clearly don't want or care for your customers!

Bot allegation
Tried to order on laptop. It decided I had a bot, went in to a endless checking loop and refused further access. Never happens on other safe trading sites.......

When navigating the website, press and hold.
When navigating the website, it keeps popping "press and hold" which is very annoying user experience, that blocks the payments or looking at the cart content. Please fix the problem. I never seen any other online shopping mall.

Ripped off, rhetorical customer service response.
On 14 August, I posted a review on this site, ripped off by Arc'Teryx for £220. Anybody who has read it will see that they responded, the standard request for more information, and to contact their Guest Services, blah blah blah. I did send that information to them, and I did complete the standard Customer Service form they sent to me, and here is a genuinely rhetorical question - do you think I have heard back from Arc'Teryx? The issue lies with the warehouse in the UK, of that I am pretty certain. The outer packaging and bar coded labels were not compromised, and therefore that should rule out a problem with the carrier. The plastic dinosaur was wrapped in very heavy duty cling film, no doubt to give a passable sound if the box was shaken of a pair of boots inside it. What Arc'Teryx have not done is asked if I can verify what was delivered to me. At no stage have they asked if there are any witnesses to this disgraceful set of events. This leads me to believe that when they say they will investigate an issue, they actually don't mean that. And still to date, I do not have the boots I ordered, and I've been ripped off for £220.

Update your online shop to the same level as your gear!
1) I'm a Swedish citizen who live in Luxembourg, a country you for some reason doesn't ship to. Why don't you have a online solution for selling to all of Europe?
2) My first purchase I managed to get your stuff shipped to Germany (very close) and paid with my Luxembourg credit card, this workaround was now closed by you for security reason. It is good that you care about security but if you don't want to loose the potential shoppers of wealthiest country in Europe you need to offer an alternative.
3) In order to get the stuff I know had to order to my wifes sister in Sweden and pay with my Swedish credit card, by chance my wife is travelling to Sweden and can bring home the stuff. This is a VERY cumbersome workaround.
Please update your online shop to 2024 standard. Your brand and gear deserves that.
Sincerely/Thomas
