Wish I'd read reviews before…

Wish I'd read reviews before purchasing. Not fit for purpose. Used their size guide but left with a gaping mask. The location of the straps mean if you make it smaller it just pulls away from the top of your face. Huge water of money. No reply from them yet but judging buy others reviews, I'm not hopeful

Don’t be fooled by the sales pitch, not ffp2 standards.

Just received our masks, put it on expecting it to be a good fit as we carefully measured our faces as it explained on site to do only for it to not fit properly.
In my job I ware mask a lot even before this pandemic and these are not fit for purpose, there is also no way the inner filter is ffp2.
For a mask to be ffp2 it needs to be hugging to your face which these masks are not. I suggest they go back to the drawing board and rethink their design, feel totally ripped off after spending over £100 on masks and filters. Will be asking for a refund and they can have their unacceptable product back.

Very poor fit and stupid design of…

Very poor fit and stupid design of Velcro filters on the inside of the mask. Not fit for purpose, do not buy, wish I’d listened to the reviews before I purchased, terribly expensive and masks don’t fit at all.

Wouldn't be my first option but has promise.

I don't necessarily agree with the low star reviews, fit wise if you can get the mask to fit well then it seems perfectly good.
Design wise it does need some work around the nose to make a good seal easier to achieve but we couldn't fault the quality.

I do agree about the filters though if you order just those then the cost with delivery is a tad extreme.
There is great promise for the design and with a bit of work they would be great masks.

A Truthful, First-Hand Review

The photo of the mask looks great on their site, yet in real life, not so much. They are not form fitting, in fact quite the opposite. The fabric is quality compared to other fabric masks, yet its silkiness makes the mask’s fit very loose, not form fitting at all. The paper filter inside is held on by a couple velcro strips, yet it too is not form-fitting and is loose which tickles the face when speaking or breathing. The straps are another thing. To make ours work, the straps had to be adjusted to the limit to keep the mask in-place. You also have the buckle uncomfortably placed behind your ear. The width of the strap, while it looks like another quality detail, is too wide for the application. Now, the fit. They provide guidelines on to how to size the mask using measurement points on your face. While that sounds right, the looseness of the mask discussed above, further depends on the type of face you have. It may measure to say you need a “large” size, yet if you face is slim and not plump, then the fit is totally unacceptable. Of course, this is non-returnable item and unfortunately, it’s an expensive mask by comparison, so if it doesn’t fit, well sorry. In our case, we bought two of these. One that was measured to fit, didn’t. It was way oversized which made it like wearing a sack. The other fit, but the filter flopping around on the inside and the strap issue, well I wore it once to twice , then retired it to the dead mask bin.

Very poor design and fit

I'm not usually one for reviews but after spending $120 on 2 masks and filters and delivery (UAE). I am actually really effed off. The masks are a load of cr@p leave a huge gap between the mask and the face the design is terrible. You can fit the mask to your face if you don't put the straps around your ears. The top ear strap is stitched to low so when you put both straps on regardless of how tight you adjust it, it pulls the mask down and leaves a big gap around your nose. They obviously know this is a problem but yet keep selling them and ripping people off and messing with people's safety. I want a full refund I better off with the cheap surgical masks.

Avoid like the plague

Beyond disappointed

Beyond disappointed. For the money I was expecting it to be the only mask I'd ever use again, willing to invest in the internal replacement filters without hesitation. The join isn't even in the center of the mask, would always look wonky when on. I say would because I never intent to wear it. I'd be embarrassed to admit I even paid half what I did for this.

Disappointing and not worth the cost.

I purchased several masks for my family based on a search for the best ones for long flights. First, mask with valves are prohibited on some airlines and hospitals. The liners came apart after wearing it a couple of times. I would not recommend nor will I purchase another. The quality is definitely not worth the cost.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. The first mask didn’t fit at all, although I followed the instructions.

“Lucy” (not sure if that is an actual person) offered 50% off my next purchase instead of making it right.

I ordered the next larger size. Paid shipping and got notified that the package accidentally shipped to Western Africa instead of California. Delivery took 14 days.

The masks will not fit to the face, leaving a gap between the mask and your face.

Terrible product, terrible customer service.

Stay away from this company.

The customer service at är terrible

The customer service at är terrible. After placing my order they sat on it for days, deliberately, I then receive an email from Lucy at är after nearly a week asking me if I wanted to purchase further filters.
They try to maximise profits by holding on your products incase you change your mind and order more filters, so they can make more money. For them it's about about your health buy maximizing profits. As they sat on my orde, the the delivery was delayed, although I told them to cancel the order and provide me with a full refund on the same day they quickly dispatched the item (mask). They full well know my order and that I didn't want further masks or I would have ordered more masks if I needed them. But they sit on your order for days on end. Terrible ugly desperate money making tactics and they girl called Lucy doesn't really give two hoots about your emails and will respond to you after days if not weeks. Although they know you cancelled your order they dispatch the item so you pay extra money to return the item. They then assume because of the extra delivery charges for returns you will hold on to the mask. Don't buy of these greedy desperate people / company. They have a desperate money making tactic.

I have added my review to Trust pilot and also Google review and their website incase they delete this review of their own platform.

I've read their response to my above review. An apology isn't good enough. You need to introduce an effect process that has a structured measurable approach during the delivery process.
If you can't manage demand and it's compromising good customer services, why do you promote your product in magazines? you know you have that greed to increase profits. You need to put logical thinking first!
Your staff especially Lucy are in the wrong job or they need training. Lucy is not a reliable person. I've still not had a reply to my email!!!! I am not happy at all.
An apology does not resolve anything. That's just an escape route. The mess is still there!

After only 4 days

After only 4 days, no more than 3 hours altogether, the filter fell apart.
I can't breathe very well when I wear this mask, those blue/green masks are much better and 20 times cheaper.
The only pro: the design.
I wouldn't buy again.

Bad design

Shop and delivery were good
The face masks are a very poor design and 100% a waste of money
Poor fitment around the face
Uncomfortable straps
Poor stitching (tore when putting on for the first time)
Worst of all the entire design is fundamentally bad
The valve is outside the filter, so does absolutely nothing and is 100% pointless
Save your money and buy a valved FFP3 mask instead, better made, better designed and massively cheaper

Avoid until they get their act together

Took about 3 weeks to be delivered (which was expected) I put it together but the mask and filter didn't seem to be together correctly (I wear glasses so could tell when they started steaming up) The velcro on the filter didn't match up with the velcro on the mask. After several emails with images convincing them that I wasn't putting the filter on backwards or the wrong way up they accepted that the filters had the velcro on the wrong way up but won't do anything about it (I had a filter with the mask and a pack of 3 spares - all wrong) The last mail from them below. Also negative comments don't appear on their website (I've tested) They might have got away with it if they hadn't sent me a feedback email.

I think the actual product could be quite good if it was put together properly. As for the company, the representation I've seen leaves a lot to be desired.
