OUT OF STOCK!

Every time I want something it's out of stock, not just at my local Argos (well Sainsbury's now) but also every other Argos around me and seemingly every Argos in the country. The place no longer seems to be a going concern.

Went to Argos today cos they say that the rings half-price it obviously not in stock waste of time waste of energy I find it hard to walk down there were it is now far from the harvest centre but a kind worker man who served me was very polite and tried his very best to help me not his fault but Argos needs to sort their stock out and get stock in not everyone can go to other stores and online

Customer review but never stock??

I have been trying to buy a Argos Home Deluxe 6 Burner Gas BBQ and have checked regularly over the past month but never any stock which is a shame as the barbeque looks really good. Within the past two weeks there have been 5 reviews to say how good it is, where did they buy it as I definitely cant!!

Always out of stock

Always out of stock or unavailable for delivery in your area ... pointless! Pity, they've never been the same since Sainsbury's bought them out - they're no longer my go to place for basic domestic stuff.

Appalling Staff member .

I went in there twice lately and the woman in the Galway branch needs a lesson in customer service. I shopped in Argos many times, before the pandemic and found the staff there very helpful however it looks like you don’t care anymore ,because l would say l was almost accosted verbally when l went in a week ago and again today. “HAVE YOU AN APPOiNTMENT” she barked. No I replied . “Well you have to order on line. “ Went home and tried to order on line. Not working ,it said try again later . For two days l tried and and no luck so l went back in . Same experience so l told her l did go on line but it was down. She couldn’t care less . All she wants to do is get you out of the shop. Her manner is rude and l certainly would not employ someone like her because she wil put all your customers off and from what l see you are losing them already . I certainly will not come back and advise everyone to give Argos a miss.

Never buying from Argos again!!

Never buying from Argos again!!! Absolutely fuming. I use to love argos at one point & was a regular customer. Had a very bad experience recently with a faulty jumperoo, took it back to the store and got told because i’ve opened it and put it together they cant take it back due to covid. WHAT A JOKE!!! what am i suppose to do with a faulty item? I felt humiliated with the way it was dealt with in store. ‘We don’t see a fault so we cant do anything’. Excuse me are you saying i’m lying? I have to use it not you.. customer service phone line is terrible too absolutely useless. I also asked for the head office contact details... got told I can only write to them. Who’s got time to be writing letters? Come on get with the times! ARGOS IS A BIG NO FROM ME!! Will be telling family & friends too!!!!! BYE ARGOS

Pointless company

Pointless company! Nothing ever in stock either for collection or delivery at any store any where! Regardless of what item or type of item is, nothing exists! Time to call in the receivers, this place needs to go!

It seems since Sainsbury's have taken…

It seems since Sainsbury's have taken over Argos there is never any stock for collection or delivery. Tried several times to.purchadrd items on there website and never any stock ....not sure what the point is?

Last purchase I made was a mattress and it lasted just over 12 months terrible quality springs broken. Argos customer service was awful sent them videos of the mattress and they told me.it was out of warranty and I was to get an independent assessor to carry out a report ....not sure who assesses mattresses is that a thing? Anyway it wasn't a cheap mattress so I would never purchase anything of value from Argos again never any stock now anyway!!

Annoying lack of staff knowledge

My initial experience merited 2 stars only but the end result raised it to 4 stars.
The story... purchased mobile handset mid February. Almost from the start it kept cutting calls. I perservered, thinking it was me (like I've never used a mobile before, duh). Then realised it was definitely a fault. Motorola chatbot said to return it to Argos. Argos Online says take returns/faults to a store.
Went to main store on Saturday to check process. Harridan "on guard" said I have to return it to Motorola. Didn't want to know at all! Very not customer focused!
Had to push her to get a manager to speak to; he confirmed the usual 30 day returns window had been extended due to covid (as on their web page).
So, new phone got sorted and the Argos phone was taken back to store yesterday where the manager Adam, processed a refund which I believe I was entitled to due to the the faulty product.
Happy result in the end but no thanks to the initial employee who is clearly lacking up to date knowledge, let alone customer service skills. Happy to purchase from Argos again but resolving problems will likely be a lucky dip of staff interest v level of knowledge.

DISCRIMINATORY POSTCODES 🤔🤔🤔 They won't delliver an e bike or some…

They won't deliver an e bike or some other items to my postcode but deliver to most other postcodes!!!!! I find that discriminatory, is my postcode not good enough for them, I've reluctantly turned to Amazon. Extremely bad online, takes ages.
Their loss.
They hardly have any e bikes in stock near my postcode b95bg. Their loss. My money is as good as any other postcode in the United Kingdom!!!!!!!!!!!.

A disaster

A disaster, failed to deliver, contacted nearly 10 times, wouldn't provide tracking number. So painful and upsetting to deal with. Stay away, Argos are not good for your mental health.
