So much out of stock

I love Argos, I do. I have never had an issue with any orders and if something has gone wrong after purchase they have replaced it without question. However, over the past few months I have been so frustrated at items out of stock. I take time looking for the items I want, find one I really like and when I select it, it is out of stock. This is the same for so many items, no matter the room or range. I would rather they did not list an item, or at least put an "out of stock" notice across the item.

I bought and paid for a washing…

I bought and paid for a washing machine including delivery, installation and removal of the old machine. Argos were keen to take the money. The delivery should have arrived on 7 June 2021 between 12-4pm. I got a call from DHL that day saying that the driver had called in sick and the delivery is postponed until 10 June 2021, no time could be specified.
I tried to call several times today for delivery details, the phone rang for over 20 mins several times, no human answered the phone.

I went into my Argos store to make a formal complaint, they said I could do it on line. I've checked the website and there is no email, just a postal address or phone number which is not useful as it is not manned out of office hours. The live
chat is operated by robots. Very frustrating!!!

I therefore have no way of knowing if the delivery will be made tomorrow at all. No one can help and Argos seem to be sherking responsibility. DHL seems very disorganised and run badly.

I'm disappointed as my last washing machine was from Argos and I trusted them to provide a good service, even if their machine expired too soon.

What am I supposed to do to get answer? Why can no one take my calls? This is the service I expect from cowboy outfits.

How long am I supposed to wait to find out if the machine will be delivered tomorrow. Surely this is a breach of contract???

I have just had a live chat with a human who says that DHL have manually altered the delivery details and may not send out notification of delivery. There is no way of knowing if the reschedule is for today. No contact from DHL I have called them 3 times since this morning. I held for over 20 mins twice now have been waiting 45 minutes for a human to take my call

complain about your staff( only woman on shop at that time) working in jervis centre on Sunday 30 May at 13 pm

i bought a usb main charger less than a year ago and i believe the 3 pin plug was faulty as one day out of the blue the pin at the top fell off .

so i went to the shop with my receipt( dated less 1 year and ) in jervis shopping centre and it happened last sunday 30 may around 13pm

when i asked about my guarantee and showed my faulty charger woman in argos snapped at me and became really aggressive she did practically BULLY me .her tone was so abusive she said in a really rude way that when i plugged in the charger and unplugged the pin fell off and that was accidental damage!! i was in shock i could not believe my ears !!!?she didnt allow me to ask about my guarantee or ask any questions..which i found really annoying i just wanted to leave the shop and never come back.the young lads were really nice and friendly but people like this woman with one of the worse customer service are the ones that are pushing away customers . its one of my Statutory rights ( guarantee) and i should be entitled to ask questions without being bullied! ????

she didnt allow me to say that all sockets in my house are safe and in very good conditions and actually this charger is the only appliance whose pin fell off ..u can name it laptops, hairdryers, electric brush chargers, etc..have been plugged in my house and none of their pins fell off !...

i was in a rush and needed a charger asap so ended up buying same item as wanted to do a quick purchase and leave asap.the guy in the till kevin was lovely i had to say and same lovely guy who handed me over the product.

when i left was so angry with myself and realised had currys outside i should have bought there my charger silly me after being bullied by that woman.

u go to the shops to have a nice time ,and then u have to deal with people like this woman. her tone and attitude were purely aggressive and rude for no apparent reason.i can not stand rudeness and bad manners and i doubt will come back to shop there.

OUT OF STOCK ONLINE & INSTORE

No matter what you want Argos are out of stock, that's for store visits and online ordering. This is absolutely terrible. What's the point of still; being open. No wonder they are closing down everywhere.

Argos are empty

Argos are empty. They have no stock so I waste my time shopping online only to find that when I try and check out everything I was interested in is out of stock. Complete waste of my time. I won't be trying again. It's been out of stock on so many products for a couple of months now. Remove the items from the website at least so as not to waste people's time.

Bought one clothes airer the other day…

Bought one clothes airer the other day and I came back home to use it.
I broke down on the first use and I now need to spend another half a day to get to the store and have it replaced.
Poor products + bad customer service= failure

Why do Argos advertise out of stock products?

Why do Argos advertise products that are not in stock in any store?? This has been my constant experience. It’s really frustrating as I keep checking for a specific thing. Perhaps if the product is temporarily out of stock it should say or have an option to ‘email me when back in stock’. Or simply take it off their list. I’ve given up visiting their website.

Good to go? - sorry, I'm gone.

Argos was the go to store for many things but since Sainsbury took over it any large item is never available for delivery to my post code (mid wales). Items are out of stock on their website (where you could use an argos card) but strangely still available on their ebay outlet (with no delivery problems). If they have no stock they should say so at first click not at the end of the order. If they don't wish to run a 'store card' they should phase it out and say they want the money on purchase instead of advertising deals they wont honor. Over 12 months into COVID a management team worth their paycheck should have a better strategy than 'advertise it anyway and try again next time' Argos used to be the first place I looked, now its not worth bothering with. Good to go? - sorry, I'm gone.

Fastway is not a great courier. Argos, please move to UPS!

I ordered something from Argos and I am still waiting for it to be received. The courier is Fastway, and Argos sent the item quick. Fastway decided that it has been delivered but I have not received anything. I contacted Argos by their phone number and I spoke to a representative.

They have said they will contact me and will call fast way to ask about my parcel if he had left it anywhere.

So I guess there's a tiny little hope, I hope it will get sorted out. I recommend in getting in touch with their phone number as they reply rather quickly instead of emails.

P.S I will update this review once they get back to me. Here's Argos number for IRELAND: 1800 535 091.

UPDATE: the parcel arrived 25/05/2021 although it has been shipped and delivered last friday. Local postman brought it to my house, which meant that fastway courier probably delivered it at the wrong house. The package was dirty but hey, at least it arrived.

I’m still waiting to complete my…

I’m still waiting to complete my bedroom with the same furniture range since January! I check web site every week in the hope it’s back in stock - but it still says not available for delivery to my postcode. Just say it’s out of stock.
I have no idea if this furniture will be back or not? It’s very poor.

Ive been repeatedly trying to buy a Trampoline online but it says "not available for delivery to my postcode," so Ive tried several other postcodes and its the same. You can find out WHY, you can speak to someone unless its about a purchase or an order number, the customer service number is the same and the chat refers you to FAQS on the website, which doesnt have any relevant answers. What is the point of advertising something you cannot buy...Just so frustrating and unprofessional.
Ill try instore and see what they come up with.... :( 16:00 12-05-21. Argos instore checked on the system they have no Stock of the 14', 12' trampolines because of ...BREXIT. I said then they need to say OUT OF STOCK

An absolute waste of people’s time!
Used to be a great place to get what you needed at a good price, but you try to buy anything now...OUT OF STOCK everywhere..
Cannot believe how downhill this company has gone now..what a shame. My advice is don’t bother and shop somewhere else.
