Incompetent Thieves.

If you want an example of how to provide the opposite of customer service, at a profound level of abuse, this company is it. They lure you in with promises of an easy relocation and then fail at every possible opportunity. First they tried to charge twice for the sea leg of a move because there were small pick-ups in two locations that I had to convince them to combine; not furniture, appliances or anything large or heavy, just boxes. Then they refused to schedule the first pick-up within the window they agreed to in the contract, forcing me to postpone and rebook my own travel plans. And even that was botched when the pick-up was attempted hours before the scheduled time, the movers said they would wait 15 minutes for me to meet them, and were gone by the time I got there. The second pickup was well beyond the promised window, very late in the day because I guess clients’ time is worthless compared to their obsessive selfishness.

The assault by everyone involved continued with duplicate invoices from multiple vendors which are so confusing and demanding it is almost impossible to not double-pay. And they threatened over and over to hold my property unless I paid immediately, even though nothing was actually moving yet. Invoices appearing without warning requiring payment the same day.

After incessant delays, the small shipment made its way across the ocean, but I was not notified when it arrived in France. These people are so inept, I was charged commercial import duties for personal property, adding $1500 to the price of an already greedy move, and again I was told they would not get any closer to me until I paid, including an absurd 180 Euro administrative fee for sending my payment to France customs. They must have a manual for deceptive and extortionate tactics. All they care about is money. They also threatened to charge storage fees until the duties were paid, even though they did not tell me when everything came off the ship.

Once I gave up fighting the excessive duties and paid the bill, the local rep disappeared and there was no communication about final delivery for over a week. Nothing. Every message ignored. Every concern deflected. Zero accountability on their end.

These people have no idea how to work together either, bouncing messages among them and never solving problems, always blaming the customer. One rep demands a detailed insurance inventory, and another can not figure out how to convert that to a simple customs inventory containing exactly the same items. And if you have anything with sentimental value, including hand-made crafts, artwork or collectibles, they have no idea how to properly assess value for either inventory. A rat could make smarter decisions than these headless mice.

It is a miracle my belongings arrived at all. Some of the movers themselves, the guys doing the heavy lifting, were courteous and thorough, that is the only place this relocation was not an assault on my dignity and bank account.

International relocations are inherently stressful, and the website and advertising claims to minimize this. The opposite is true. Hire these creeps at your own risk, and be prepared to pay fees as if every palm demands backsheesh.

You have been warned. Just look elsewhere.
