Non existent customer service
The most unhelpful customer support I have dealt with in years - wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
I accidentally used my brothers old email address for an eGift. So I contacted them to get this updated or the order cancelled and was met with a wall of 'Computer says no'.
I was given the card number, no PIN to allow it to be used and unhelpful stock answers that ignored simple requests. Thanks Tina C....
I will be filing a claim with my credit card company as they have now stopped responding despite not delivering the goods.

Before i go to shop i check my balance using their link just to know how much should i spend I saw I still have £44.17 and then when i was going to check out and scan the card it says no balance 0 balance, i ask the sales attendant to check my card ita states in reciept that no balance at all but then I can see that they took the £44.17 with UN code unknown!!!!

A better payment experience would be great
The only downside that I can see, is the payment method. I don't understand why gift cards have to be topped up through World Pay rather than ASDA directly. My debit card won't go through, presumably owing to risk, whereas I can use it perfectly ok to buy groceries, which means the only way I can top up my gift card is by credit card which incurs interest.
