This was so easy to purchase and send electronically as a gift to someone who had just lost their job. The only reason I have dropped one star is that it was not emphasised that the gift card needs t... See more

Asda Christmas savings cards offer a way to build up money to spend towards the Christmas groceries, or clothing and gifts etc. However, if topping up online, it is via Worldpay. Certain banks don't recognise Worldpay, making it difficult to pay online. I don't visit Asda every week, so topping online is a must.

They never took my regular payment, kept saying problems with my card or had no funds. Completely untrue, didn't matter which card I used and there was always money in my account

I regularly buy ASDA gift cards and honestly couldn’t be happier with the service. I purchase them quite often and always find the process really convenient and straightforward. Never had any issues and everything works as it should every time. Highly recommend 😊

This is not really about Asda as they did supply the card, I was call scammed by someone and almost lost money, this was resolved quickly when I reported it. Maybe need to be a way to prevent someone from doing this to others, no idea what but putting it out there!!

i was scammed never ordered a gift card from asda website

Mine was on my phone. Incredibly complicated to check the balance. I had to cut codes from the card then paste them into a balance checker that the website did not direct me to and that was only findable with the help of AI. Then it did not work. Obviously Asda cannot afford the services of a proper web designer or cannot be bothered which is usually the case with Asda. I will never buy one of these cards again.

Absolutely never! Not your fault but you sold a gift card to a scammer in your Leeds town centre store, who has now been reported. So no, very bad experience - sorry but will never order something like this in line - too dangerous.

This item was purchased fraudulantly on my card. You clearly have issues to address

It’s impossible to set up a direct debit to load money onto the card. Your email saying maybe I have insufficient funds at the time is insulting. My bank say they haven’t received any requests from you to set up the direct debit either and there is no reason for them to reject it.

Never received the card will never deal with you ever again. Ruined a valentines weekend

Will be NEVER be buying an Asda gift card again. Asda website either asda.com or @George has stopped me checking out for two weeks...IT dept (Asda, not gift cards) has not responded in 10 days... currently waiting from a w/up from a 'superior' whatever that means, been sitting here an hour. Bought the gift card to try and checkout rather than have IT issue using my debit card (which is valid as gift card purchase fine) but kismet the George item then went out of stock. I now have a gift card I cannot use either. ONCE they actually sort the checkout issue on Asda all apps will be deleted.
