Refused to give a refund and said they didn't take payment. Money went from my PayPal account. The staff on the phone were very polite and seemed friendly.
However, it doesn't bring my money back.

Great value and a really easy process. Ordered through Asda Tyres at a much better price than elsewhere, with a simple online booking. Fitting at Protyre was quick and professional – friendly staff and no hassle. Would definitely use again.

I heard from my colleague about Asda tyre. Purchased tyres and got it replaced. Process was very simple and easy to use.

Needed a new tyre after MOT failure. Had what I needed in stock online, reasonable price (well I wanted premium but some of the budget prices were tempting!) and was super easy to organise appointment. The fitter was DGT and they are super friendly and helpful with a clean and tidy waiting area (with some pretty impressive alloys on the wall). Would definitely recommend.

I kind the whole experience easy and prompt from searching to booking. I turned up early for my appointment and didn’t have to wait long before they took my car into the garage fitted two new tyres and rotated them.

Happy with the new tyres and glad that they are not bin end discounted tyres made ages ago. The tyres are made within last six months which is great. Asda also offers tyre insurance at £10 for a year which suits me well. I can support the local fitter and the repair shop with this on line purchase. Win win win.

Basically I went to the fitting shop and I was waiting for 1h when they told me to chose a one hour slot , until they started work and I was told that they are busy and they don’t know if they will be able to fit my tires.

After they have done my fitting , they FORGOT to put one of the locking bolt on my tire and failed my MOT because of it.

I called Asda customer service and I send them the picture with the proof of my failed MOT and the picture from my wheel and they said they won’t be able to do anything as this is the fitters fault.

Now I have bought my tire and service from you Asda and now you’re fitter messed up and now you blame each other for this issue.

You risked my safety as the bolt was missing on my tire and wasted my whole day by failed MOT and then can’t use my car for that day and had to order safety locking bolts , go to a tire garage to fitted them for me and then rescheduled my MOT and missed a whole day of work.

So I won’t use your service again

Times and dates of fitting met my needs. Protyres was arranged and was equally good. Great customer service all round. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Very easy system to get your tyres fixed and reasonable prices for everyone’s budget.

Very easy to order. Tyres were as ordered and importantly, as shown in the image. (other websites do not always supply the tyres shown in their images!)
Although my experience was good, being told that Asda were unable to verify if the tyre shown would be the one that was supplied could have been an issue (directional Vs symmetrical tread) Tyre buyers should be aware of this (look on web for differences?)
However, I took the leap of faith and all was good!

I believe Asda should clearly and prominently state on its tyre sales pages that customers may receive tyres that are up to five years old. This information should be displayed before purchase rather than being buried in the FAQs, as many customers will not read those sections when placing an order.

Charging the full current retail price for tyres and then supplying tyres that are already several years old is disappointing and does not meet the expectations that many customers would reasonably have when purchasing new tyres. While the tyres may still be legally considered new, the age of the tyres is important information that could influence a customer’s purchasing decision.

Greater transparency at the point of sale would allow customers to make an informed choice before ordering. I am therefore unhappy with this purchase and would like Asda to review how this information is communicated to customers.

Great selection of tyres at great prices, fitted at a garage of my choice, and a convenient time for me, overall very pleased
