Spoke to me for about 2 weeks about my family members case saying there shouldn't be an issue taking on the case but then 10 days before the hearing they said they had to be engaged by the defendant himself not me and now it was too late to do anything. Also over the top quote.

I was arrested for a number of allegations of rape and controlling and coercive behavior against my ex partner. She had me arrested upon a number of occasions whjch destroyed my life. I was recommended to Ashmans Solicitors head office.
I spoke to them and they advised me thoroughly and properly. They used their pre charge team to bring together all the evidence which woukd clear me and prepared with great care written representations to the Police. The case was then dropped against me some time later. I cannot thank them enough for what they have done for me. They took everyone of my calls and were always there at my darkest moments.
I thoroughly recommend them as anyones first choice for legal representation.

This company is a disgrace. They failed to reply to my emails, they do not answer on their phones, each time you call trying to reach the person you spoke before they are always away or in their lunchbreak any time of the day. They are experts at mishandling funds, specialists in not respecting any of the deadlines suggested by them. Stay away from this company and make sure you someone that is acting in the clients best interests. This is not the company that does this! Be aware! SRA is already investigating them.

Called this firm to ask if they can represent me. After finding out I live in London, they stated they can't represent me as they don't have an office in London. So why advertise stating London, Leeds and Sheffield. Additionally they asked me to pay for consolation, even though they were saying they can't represent me. They also terminated the call on me. Avoid!!

I want to say a massive thank you to Mr Raja Atif Afzal from Ashmans Solicitors. I come from a respected family and my life was turned upside down when I was falsely accused of serious criminal charges. The whole process lasted approximately 6 years before I was finally found Not Guilty. Mr Afzal was relentless in his pursuit to help me prove my innocence. He worked tirelessly and continually inspired me with confidence and gave me the courage to keep fighting. His knowledge and expertise were always to the point and reassuring.

Yes unethical is the standard practised at ASHMANS.
Just to give you an idea I looked up on the Solicitors Registration and lo and behold ARSHAD ALI is not a solicitor and never has been . So if he is pretending to be a solicitor then he will be needing a solicitor to represent him sooner or later. See if you can get ARSHAD ALI to represent you in the magistrates court as a solicitor . You will seem him dodge the situation. Next time you are in his office ask to see his practising certificate. Never happen he is just a glorified Clerk not bright enough in all this time to have become a solicitor .

Zahid Majid is one of the partners at Ashmans Solicitors. He is your man if your case is far from complex and cutting across different areas of law. For the usual RTA claims and the likes.
