I had a bad experience with Arrow XL

I had a bad experience with Arrow XL.
The first delivery was damaged,
the replacement went missing and the third delivery was cancelled. I ended up cancelling my order altogether.

not worth 1 star!!

not worth 1 star!!! I would rate it 0/5 if I could. Waiting for a 6 seater table to arrive and the warehouse have 'lost' this and attempted to load it onto the van twice but unable to find the table.... make it make sense? no communication, days taken off work to be in for the delivery, 2 hour wait time to talk to someone on the phone/web chat.

What a joke of a company

What a joke of a company. First they lied when they said the item didn't reach their warehouse until after midnight. Yeh, midnight the day before - the advisor couldn't understand that it wasn't after midnight on the day I called. Rearranged, driver said he couldn't find the address. We could see him at the end of the road, told him we'd come and guide him, he said no and drove away. The knock on effect is to recommend not to order from Dusk if they continue to use Arrow XL.

Beyond useless

Should be Zero Stars. They have failed in every way possible for what should be a simple 'we collect an item, then we deliver an item', how hard can that be?? Reading the reviews it must be much harder than it seems.... Day off work to wait for an Estimated Delivery Slot of 12.15-15.15. Sent a link to track, checked at 12.30 and said we were delivery 31 and was currently on delivery 7. This tracking system never changed or updated after this. Tried doing the 'online chat' as recommended by the ArrowXL. Waited 35 Minutes with no response. Found a number so called, another 40 Min on hold to be told that they can see the tracking is down and cant tell me the ETA, but the deliver up until 7pm, so afternoon/evening plans cancelled. 7.23 PM a text to say 'Item could not be delivered, see Live Chat for more info', tried chat again and again after 30 Minutes no response. Tried chat again following day, no response. Called and told Id receive a message to a link to re arrange. Called to be told 48th in que. Called following day to be told 58th in queue, called today to be told 53rd in que.... as my daughter is now sleeping on the floor waiting for a new bed to be delivered we have no choice but to cancel with the original supplier and order one else where.

The worst of the worst

Companies who use this wretched Arrow XL Limited are actually harming their own reputation. I will not buy from anyone using this delivery company, not unless they agree to use a reputable one

Horrendous company

Horrendous company, unable to contact and this has been on 2 occasions now..I don’t really know what to say other than they are utterly appalling so don’t use them..they schedule collections in and don’t come..no responsibility and extremely difficult to get a response and even then nothing happens.please don’t use this company they are nothing less than useless

Beyond terrible

Beyond terrible. Increasingly fed up with this order. Should have been delivered 07:15-09:15 on the 20th. The driver didn't bother coming until 6 hours later at 3:23pm. They were supposed to have called as staff went home at 3 rather than 5 after coming in 2 hours earlier alas no delivery. Promised a phone call and update Thursday evening if not Friday, Saturday and still nothing. If we’d seen this was the delivery parter before ordering we categorically would have avoided and gone elsewhere.

DO NOT BUY FROM ANY COMPANY USING ARROWXL COURIER SERVICE!!

Your item will NOT be delivered!! They need to be investigated and be held accountable for their dishonesty and lies.

The customer service is non existent, you are put on hold for hours, and when connected they are the most UNHELPFUL representatives.

I took the day off work to wait in for my Sofa purchase from (Home Detail) no delivery during the time slot provided 10:15-12:15. No contact to let me know that they couldn't deliver. I rang and waited 50+mins to speak to an advisor to be told that she could not give me a new delivery slot at present, and will be in touch to let me know in the next 24/48hrs.

It's been 3 days and still no update about when my sofa will be delivered.

Disgusting and Dishonest - should be made to pay for all the missed deliveries and the lies.

You will not receive your goods. Then if you try to call you will be on hold for over 2 hours.
We chat which they keep banging on about on their phone message goes unanswered!!!!!

This company is a joke. Meant to collect the mattress today. Ive been waiting and then suddenly got a text message that customer requested a new date which is a lie. Tried contacting support for hours but no luck. Useless company ever

Zero Responsibility and Zero Reliability

Arrow XL Limited is an extremely unreliable company with zero sense of responsibility. They show absolutely no respect for customers’ time or money — especially the extra money paid for delivery.

I paid for a specific delivery date, and not only did the courier fail to show up, but the company also provided no real support or accountability afterward. They simply don’t care about the customer experience. Avoid them if you expect professionalism or basic reliability.

Amazed that a company like Miele uses…

Amazed that a company like Miele uses this company for its deliveries. Things go wrong of course but clearly failed deliveries seem to be a running theme. Wasted a day waiting in for a delivery, now have to wait for the washing machine to be booked back in to the depot, and wait for another booking slot.

No stars worse delivery company ever

No stars. I have been waiting in all day for a delivery which hasn't turned up.My delivery slot was 3.45 to 5.45 and it's now 11pm.I called arrowxl before the time slot had ended and they confirmed that the tracker showed it was due to be delivered today.I also called the seller just before 6pm and they confirmed that it showed it had been loaded onto the van this morning but hadn't been delivered yet.I kept checking the tracker and there was no change until just now when it was updated to say it had been delivered with a signature at 5pm.I haven't got it and will now have to wait until the customer service lines for the seller and arrowxl open to find out what has happened.I will never again buy from a company that uses arrowxl to deliver.Interestingly I notice from other reviews that they only comment on good reviews.Terrible company.

Update.Nearly a week later and still trying to sort the mess out.Despite being told by arrowxl that the tracker was updated in error to show delivery was made and that it was updated it is still showing as delivered.The seller sent me an email and attachment showing the vehicle reg sbd drivers name which sows it was apparently delivered.They asked me check with neighbours and my safe space.My delivery instructions are quite specific; I don't want any item left with neighbours or in a safe space.Ive wasted so much time on this.Ive tried to call arrowxl this morning but apparently they are having technical difficulties.

Dysfunctional Delivery Company

Unfortunately, some very respectable and excellent companies / retailers sadly use this lot to deliver on their behalf. To say that Arrow XL Limited is completely dysfunctional delivery company would be an understatement. First they planned a delivery between 06.30 and 08.30 but cancelled at 06.29 as they had failed to use a small van that had been specified by me and the retailer for the delivery. Also, I paid extra for delivery to room of choice but the team who arrived were physically incapable of actually lifting the small wardrobe let alone delivering to the bedroom. So after a half hearted attempt they just dumped the wardrobe back in my hallway and basically said it is your problem. If you find this is the company chosen by the retailer then urge them to use another suppler.

Got told the delivery was for…

Got told the delivery was for 9;15-12:15.
I then got a message saying attempt delivery failed at 11:28 Nobody knocked, nobody called as they said they would. I open the door and a card is left on the floor. Not even put through the post box as they knew that would make noise! Customer service was just as useless and just sided with their delivery drivers when they didn't even attempt to delivery after I just took the day off work and now have no bed to sleep on!

Absolutely terrible delivery company

I purchased a TV through Very and paid extra for next-day delivery. The item arrived at their hub at around 2am, yet apparently they won’t deliver it the next day unless it’s received in the afternoon on the day of purchase. This completely defeats the point of “next-day delivery.”
Royal Mail manages to handle similar timings without issue, so there’s really no excuse.

Now I’m being told I have to wait an additional four days. Absolutely unacceptable. This company is a joke and shows zero regard for its customers. Judging by the overwhelming number of 1-star reviews, it’s clear I’m far from the only one who’s had this experience.

Dont ever use this company

Dont ever use Arrow XL. For all the same reasons as everyone else. They do not deserve even half a star. I have not received the item from Hughes Electrical - who are well aware of the bad reviews yet continue to use them for delivery - and will be cancelling my order with them. What an utter waste of my time. Report to trading standards.
