I had my Black Ceramic Ring for 2.5 years without incident, before it suddenly stopped working. I got on to the guys at Astari and they couldn't have been more helpful. Ultimately I had to order a new ring but that was because I couldn't supply them with details of my original order (lesson learnt). The level of service I received from both Vincent and Mike was totally refreshing - there is no substitute for great customer service and these guys deliver it in spades.

I’ve had my Astari ring for about a month. Wow! It is an amazing little piece of kit. No more fumbling in pockets or for my phone. Simply tap and go. It has also been a conversation starter on several occasions. I absolutely love my ring and would highly recommend.

Firstly, opened a free Curve account, and ordered an Atlantis ring. Took a good few days to arrive once ordered, as comes from the EU to UK. Meanwhile, ordered a physical Curve card - not needed, but was the only way to change the PIN which would be needed for large purchases with the ring, otherwise you're stuck with the one supplied by Curve. You can use the physical card to change your PIN at an ATM, which also changes the ring PIN. I added a debit card (Santander) and credit card (Barclaycard) to my Curve account. The free Curve account has a limit of two cards, but you can upgrade if you have a load of cards you'd like to add, and you can change the card very easily if you want to use a different one because of expiry for instance. Downloaded the Mii app, which sets up the ring. You add your Curve account and the Mii app writes the info to the ring. You'll need an NFC enabled phone to do this. After adding the details to the ring, it has worked flawlessly for contactless payments. Never had to enter a PIN yet, despite dozens and dozens of payments, both home and abroad. Virtually everyone comments when you pay too. I'd easily recommend these rings. A little bit of wait, and a little bit of a faff to set up initially, but once done, it's waterproof, doesn't need charging and I'm sure you'll love these, especially if you're into tech.
Update: Regarding Astaris reply below, there is no PIN change function in my Curve app, you need a physical card.

I love the ring, and key chain as i will be attatching them to my car keys and my beautiful misses loves her bracelet the only thing i dont how to feed the leather strap through the metal bracket as there is a pin which i am assuming that the stap holds there. Also ive not tried them at the shop as in yet. but apart from that amazing purchase. I would highly recommend people to buy from this company and also i love the donation astari is doing!!!!!

Just back from a boozy holiday to Spain It got a little messy.

Once set up this ring is the best, its so handy i hardly ever take my wallet anywhere now which is a problem because without my wallet i don't have my driver's license which is a £1000 fine.
You need two apps and once set up that's all you do,£100 limit for contactless payment like any card.
The ring is very small and very durable. People are constantly amazed how you just tap your ring to pay.
You can set up more than one card in the app and easily switch if you want to.
I highly recommend it, and no i don't work for them just love the product.

My wife and I have been wearing and using the Astari rings since September 2024.
Setting up the rings was very straightforward, if you don't have a compatible bank then you use the Curve app which itself is a very quick and easy and secure.
I have worked in the Payments industry (Visa and MasterCard) so was intrigued to get my hands and fingers on one.
I am not a fan of jewellery and don't even wear a wedding ring, but these rings are not noticeable on the finger at all. Ultra lightweight and no bulk.
No charging and waterproof!
They actually behave exactly the same as a contactless payment card and the technique is the same. Use in the same environments. Tap and go.
We have never experienced any acceptance issues in any environment; shops, unattended, public transport, parking etc...
We used to take a wallet with us as backup just in case of any problems, but since a very long time just leave that at home. Everything is now on a finger!
The only surprise after all this time is still seeing the reactions of people watching us pay with a ring. Priceless.
To us it's just part of the day-to-day shopping routine. Always there and always ready.
The customer service is also superb.

Clear and understandable guidance for app and device makes it very easy to set up. Quick order . Payment always go smoothly and quickly. I buy smart keys chain for my husband, because he keeps forgetting his wallet. With this keys chain attached to his car key, he is always able to do shopping . He says its the best gift, he ever received. The key chain is small, light and working perfectly.

I have made payments with my smart watch for several years now, especially when at locations where I didn't want to take my wallet or phone.
Unfortunately, I was recently mugged and had my bank cards and mobile phone taken. My watch battery had also died, making it extremely difficult to get home.
I was looking for an alternative that offered the same convenience as my watch without the need for charging. The Astari ring has met those expectations and has quickly become my de facto payment method.
It was super easy to set up with Curve, (my NL bank is not yet supported), and I have used it at home and three other countries so far, with zero issues.
The only sticky moment I had was when I tried to pay in Spain and the shop assistant thought I was reaching to steal their card machine, as I didn't have a bank card in my hand! She was both flabbergasted and amazed when I told her I was paying with my finger! :-)
I can't praise this product enough!

Extremely easy to set up and use. Once mastered the angle of placing your ring on the contactless device it works like a dream. My favourite thing is to watch the surprise and excitement on people's faces when I use it. Highly recommend to make life easier especially at concerts, festivals and crowded places you do not want to carry a purse or phone to pay.

I ordered one size too big and there was no problem about returning it for a smaller ring. Vincent of customer support has been amazing! He sent me full instructions on setting it up and then how to disconnect it and add the new ring. He is an invaluable asset to Astari.

Really poor customer experience. Made my purchase 07/04 with a short lead time quoted. This moved over 4 times and finally arrived 7 weeks later. Never once was I contacted about the delay, it was always on me to chase when it didn’t arrive and every time I got the same generic apology and promise of the next date. Once I was even told I’d read the original deliver date wrong, which prompted me to share my confirmation, only to get said generic apology again. I asked for compensation for my obvious inconvenience and every time this was rebuffed with options offered of refund or wait. My favourite interaction was when Victor sought pity from me by telling me all staff, including him, were working that weekend to ensure orders went out. Not my problem Vic.
When the 4th date passed I actually asked for a refund only to be told it was too late as apparently it was already in transit. It turned up 5 days after that.
Tinpot company with zero customer service appreciation, who are clearly acting as a middle man to the manufacturer, over which they have no influence.
Avoid.
I’ve owned an Astari ring for about 2 years now and I absolutely love it!!
It took me a while to complete the initial setup, and to learn how to position the ring to successfully make a payment. But once I did it’s been absolutely faultless.
I’ve yet to find an outlet that doesn’t accept it. It doesn’t have the same payment limit that contactless cards have but still has great usability.
The best use is to be able to use it when tapping in and out on public transport, rather than having to get an expensive phone or watch out where this could risk snatching of the device.
Highly recommended!
