ATFX is a regulated trading broker (with licenses like FCA and CySEC), so it’s not outright fake and it offers solid platforms like MT4/MT5 with decent trading conditions, but its reputation is very mixed and that’s where caution is needed—some users report smooth experiences and successful withdrawals, while many others complain about delayed or blocked withdrawals, poor customer support, and tricky bonus conditions, which are major red flags; on top of that, some “scam” stories linked to ATFX actually come from fake agents on WhatsApp or Telegram pretending to represent the broker, so the risk can come from both the platform and third parties, meaning overall it sits in a middle ground (around 6/10): usable but not fully trustworthy, so if you do try it, only use small amounts, avoid bonuses, and never trust anyone promising guaranteed profits.

• synchronised very well my technicals plus fundamental biases, doubling my account in a week of trading very conservatively.
• LEARNED MOST from the Market brief sessions, creating a strong approach towards any trading day
• Learned much from the Zoom sessions
What to improve on?
●I'd we would love to have the pdf of the slides during the sessions. Some of us love learning deeply into the details after the main session
●Have, maybe, a realistic session of why trading with less than R10 000, for example, is harder than trading with R25000, R50000, etc and use each level to create a deeper understanding of things.

I was thrilled when ATFX offered a free 850 ZAR no-deposit bonus to new South African traders like me— a low-risk way to dip into forex. I read their terms front to back, followed every rule to the letter: no hedging, proper lot sizes, and steady trades only. Over weeks of careful strategy, I grew that tiny bonus into over 11,000 ZAR in legitimate profits.
Then, the nightmare began. When I requested a withdrawal, their "compliance team" hit me with a vague email accusing me of "breaching bonus conditions." What breach? I asked for specifics—crickets. No evidence, no appeal process, just a frozen account and zero access to my hard-earned money. Their rules are a joke: stacked against you with impossible fine print designed to let them keep your wins while you eat the losses. This isn't trading; it's legalized theft.
ATFX, you're a disgrace to the industry. Stay away if you value your money—there are honest brokers out there. I've reported this to the FSCA and will keep fighting.
