The thing about Element 14 is that you just know that they have what you need and can get it to you quickly, sure sometimes the prices are a bit higher than if you hunt around however the peace of mind of ordering and having it quickly and reliably outweighs price in the majority of cases.

We have been serviced by E14 (formerly Farnell) for over twenty years,
And would recommend them as a supplier. As a rule we are able to procure most of our usual items with out any issue.
In recent times we have noticed less local stock of some items that were
previously same day shipment.
However E14 has always performed well in all areas.
And we expect to continue to use them as one of our main suppliers.

Although I don't use as many electronic components like I used to years ago, I will still always come to element14 when I need something they have to offer.

I have used Element14 for years, directly and through company purchasers.

When things go well they are great. You get the part very quickly, it is what it says on the tin. Prices are typically not the cheapest but competitive and the turn around is fantastic.

Recently I saw the other side when I received a faulty product as part of a small order. I lodged an issue online. Had to chase them on the phone to get a response. The staff priority was to discover if the fault was individual to my product or across every product in the batch, understandable but not my priority. They promised to get back to me once they had figured that out, I assume the process is then to arrange a replacement, I'm not sure, they never got back to me.

Thanks for the offer to contact you, however I have the part I needed from other sources and have moved on, this review was only because I was sent an email prompting me to. If Element14 was serious about wanting to address this issue and others like it they would review the recent service tickets, I'm sure my case is not unique.

It was great to find a comprehensive listing of parts on your site. My only gripe is that parts listed as IN STOCK were in stock overseas and not held in Australia. Having said that, these parts were shipped promtly from your warehouse as they arrived in Oz over the following days/weeks. As a result my small order was received as several packages, indicating that you have a good policy of shipping parts as aoon as they become available, rather than sitting on the stock and posting all together.

Good range of products with most items either in stock or with a fairly short lead time. Occasional supply errors but most are resolved quickly. Pricing is not too bad for small quantities considering delivery is free for orders over AUD $45. The quotes team does a pretty good job on quotes for bulk quantities and I usually accept their offer on 90% of the items.

I am very impressed with the fact that Element14 will process small orders from a hobbyist as well as presumably very large orders from industry etc. My only gripe is could orders be sent by mail ,to have to wait around for couriers is a bit of a pain and delivery to a PO box is secure and items can be collected at one's convenience.

I had to source parts for a uni project and element14 had everything i needed, and in stock!
Fast and efficient shipping meant that my project was assembled quicker than the guys who got their stuff from china.
Will definitely be sourcing more part inthe future!
