Wrong item sent

Wrong item sent. This wasn't the first time a dramatically different item has been sent by cex and had to be returned.

Do they actually test items before selling?

Purchased a phone that turned out to have a faulty charging port—an issue so obvious it raises serious questions about whether items are properly tested before being put on sale. Instead, the defect was left for me to discover after purchase.

I then had to return to the store, wait while staff tested the device, and was told a refund could take several days “due to the banking system.” Meanwhile, trade-in transactions are paid almost instantly. That suggests the capability exists to process refunds quickly, but it’s not being used here. The inconsistency is frustrating.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and has made me think twice about purchasing from this store again.

Needs clearing payment times

It should be clearer on the website that payments for anything you sell will take 2 days to clear. The description made it sound like you get yr cash straight away.

so dirty

after a lot of thought i decided to buy a wii unboxed, it came fully dirty not just on the outside but also inside the system itself with the fan and everything being fully clogged and dirty. i just expected when buying systems second hand you would expect to test and clean them before distributing the to buyers

Shocking

Like i said. The putchase beforehand was wrong. I was relaced with the right seties s. This was in shocking condition the controller.Came quick this time. Last order was the wrong xbox. This elite 2 controller arrived with the grips peeling off which ive replaced out of my own pocket as it was cheap but in the photo there was no indication of damage.

Purchased Call of Duty Cold War and…

Purchased Call of Duty Cold War and Gears of War. Both were delivered within a couple of days. Unfortunately both games won't install past 13 and 28% respectively. Thankfully when I contacted customer service, they said that I could take them back in store to hopefully get a replacement or refund.
