Manufacture default not replaced
Disappointing experience with customer service. I was sold a defective monitor and rather than an honourable replacement they want to open it up and tamper with it because it passed 30 days when noticing the fault that was clearly there from day 1.
Basically, items from Audient when bought new can come with manufacture defaults and are considered something they wouldn’t replace.
Hilarious.

Everything is great except there is no support for Linux which causes problems like dissapearing from device list after system Suspend and forgetting volume knob position value.
Excelent interface
Excelent interface. Very easy to use, with the auto gain you get a starting point, which you can modify later, but you have the baseline setup in seconds. Also the connections in the back are dual, so you can connect mic or instrument, in the same spot. All thought to make it easy to use, to play and enjoy music.
An all-round impressive product
I use the interface as a keyboardist at live gigs in conjunction with a mini PC. I use the four inputs for comfortable in-ear monitoring (band mix + stereo microphone pair for Athmo). Phantom power without a power supply, super low latency for playing VST plugins, clean and powerful audio signals in and out. I'm very impressed! I don't miss any additional controls. Software and drivers (Windows 11) are absolutely top notch. You just have to come up with something for mounting it in a mini rack. There are no rackmount accessories.
Excellent sound, good features
The Audient Nero lived up to expectations and the good reviews I had read (SOS etc) before purchase. The routing available to, from and within the unit are very comprehensive especially considering the very competitive price. My only criticism is deficient in formation on the Smart Touchpoints, the manual merely says "Simply hold down a Smart Touchpoint to put it into setup mode, select your routing options and press it again to save".
Well yes, true, when you have worked out what a smartpoint is, where they are, and what functions each might have. All this should be clearly tabulated in the manual.
Not mentioned in the SOS review is the fact that the 4th Output option, namely the Sub output is not independantly selectable. If it was, you could attach a mono 'grotbox' to it, still leaving 3 stereo outputs available. As it is, you have to assign mono to a stereo output, and attach your mono 'grotbox' to the L output of that stereo output. So there are not 4 outputs under some circumstances, but 3 (depending on your requirements).
Overall very happy with it.
Amazing interface
Amazing interface, my workflow has improved a lot since I purchased it, the sound is crystal clear and it works flawlessly, I especially love the ID button and being able to use volume know to automate different parameters in my DAW. Highly suggest!
It doesn't work
It doesn't work, it's completely useless. I threw it straight in the trash. What a waste of money. A scam.

Very good software and the sound is awesome! The gear is solid!
I would love to see in software side an auto gain feature, that's the only thing missing!

It is good for production and mixing but main thing that i find great is the clarity and little warmth in vocals and guitar. I love it.

There is not enough gain for my Podmic USB microphone. I need to use an additional amplifier for my microphone.

Lot of trouble to eliminate drops with a Asus NUC 14 PRO+ i9 Computer. Finally and after a week working with the help of chat GPT , we solved the problem.
The quality of the sound is transparent…
The quality of the sound is transparent and solid. But the knobs are little cheap moving compare to the focusrite solo. Also, i had problems with cakewalk sonar by bandlab because the auto track mode for midi writing is not working properly and i had to change many things to work and my workflow has been slower because of that..
Still struggling with the software.
It's been a month since I bought the Audient iD14 mk2 and I still have problems with it. In the beginning, it just didn't work (I followed the installa instructions step by step). Then I realize that I had to have the charger of the laptop connected in order to be able to use the equipment.
On the other hand, I have tried to record music by using the Adobe Audition software. The software recognizes the Audient hardware but there is no signal entering, so I couldn't record anything for the moment. I will continue looking for solutions. Maybe it's just that I had to use the recording software provided by Audient. I really don't know.
It was far easier with the Line 6 UX1. Just plug and use.
Audient ID24 - small, but fatal flaw
The Audient ID24 is a solid unit and has great controls. However they missed one simple thing that is a major pain. You setting (everything including volume) reset whenever your computer powers down. This means that even the volume goes back to 0. And ever time you start your PC, you need to open up the ID app, and increase the volume - or do it from the interface. ( not to mention all the other settings for volume, pan, etc on each of the inputs). This would be such a simple thing to fix, but I confirmed with the support team that this unit doesn't do that. They said the software for the iD44 MKII, and iD48 do have the option to store an output volume. For the price tag on the ID24, this blows my mind. I have a Scarlett 2i2 4th Generation that was half the price and has more functionality. The only reason I got the ID24 was that I needed the extra inputs. But I do regret buying the ID24, and am using the 2i2 most of the time so that I don't have to deal with having to reset all my settings every time my computer powers on/off.
It is a expensive unit that should include the ability to retain even the most basic volume setting. If it not for the inconvenience that I have to deal with every day, I would say the unit is good. Not sure how such a simple usability feature was left out for something that is otherwise so well engineered.
Super well-made piece of kit
Super well-made piece of kit. Really intuitive, great feeling encoders. Preamps sound good. Only thing id say is the gain 'on-ramp' is very very steep between 8-10, can go from a touch quiet to way way too loud with a tiny movement. overall a great product though.
Perfect for guitar
Perfect for guitar! I compared an Audient ID4 to Focusrite SOLO 3rd an MOTU M2. Audient wins in every way possible. Love the preamps.
