I attended the Shrewsbury branch for earwax removal on July 17th but the audiologist was unable to completely remove the wax from one ear because she said it was too close to the eardrum. I requested a refund- which they offer if they are unable to remove the wax but I have yet to receive it and have had to chase it up again today.
It's now July 30th. Audika Head Office said the refund was processed on July 21st so where is it??
UPDATE I have emailed the Head Office ( again) today and now been told the refund was only processed YESTERDAY 29th July! Obviously they delay refunds so that they make interest on money they owe!
So why did this company lie to me?
Be VERY wary of using them.

Many thanks to the two lady receptionists Laura and Sharon for arranging my wife’s initial consultation with Shaun and all the follow up appointments.

Shaun is an absolute gentleman and a true professional at his trade. I had been informed by the NHS that they could do no more to improve my wife’s hearing and maybe a private hearing company could help.

Our neighbours had been given the same advice to go private and were delighted with the service provided by Audika Barnstaple. On their recommendation I approached the Audika team in Barnstaple.

My wife’s hearing was tested professionally by Shaun and on his recommendation we purchased hearing aids that actually improved her hearing so that she can now hear normal speech, and no longer has to have the TV on full volume.

At 83 years young she can now lead a normal life and hear without continually asking people to talk louder and can also have a normal conversation on the telephone.

I was with Amplifon which has now become Audika.
I went for my annual review and hearing test at the Haywards Heath office and was seen by Wilson. He was fantastic, friendly and extremely helpful and explained everything to me the way no one had ever done before.
I would highly recommend this company and especially Wilson.
