Don't do it. They refused to cancel my subscription and gave me no notice of a $300 charge. I tried for months to get them to waive or prorate me and after they said no they just didn't respond - over 10 email attempts, NO RESPONSE. No manager. No supervisor. Nothing.

Frustrating start. Apparently you have to delete the keyboard on your child’s phone for the service to work. That wasn’t clear to me and support didn’t tell me the first time. All the kid has to do is turn off VPN in their settings unless you delete the English keyboard from their iPhone.

I subscribed to Aura (annual) in a panicked state, whilst stressing about which of my personal information is visible to data brokers. After realising that the app only works properly for US customers (SSN input, only allows US addresses etc), I promptly unsubscribed, and despite Auras 60-day money-back guarantee for those who cancel annual subscriptions within this timeframe, they will not refund me my money. All I get from them is an AI generated email telling me to call their customer service line, which I can’t call from Australia. I understand that I should’ve taken the time to research this company before subscribing, but as I mentioned, I was incredibly stressed at the time and rushed into it. There was absolutely no mention of the fact that this app only works for US customers, and they are using every BS excuse not to refund my payment, despite their 60-day money-back guarantee. Avoid this company and save yourself from their deceptive practices.

I got an email that my membership renewal would be $199. It was $108 a year. I called Aura Customer Service this morning. She told me there was a price increase- that was the price for a single membership. I hung up on her. I went to my account & cancelled my membership- it replied that I may renew for $108/yr- if I choose to renew for another year... I consider the handling of this situation to be very dishonest! The woman helping me on the phone happen to call me back, thinking we were disconnected. I asked her specifically- was she trained by Aura to handle the renewal situation the way that she did. She said "YES". I told her to cancel my renewal membership & I do NOT need a call back from a "Manager"!

I have had problems getting into my account and Ryan the customer service specialist had spent over an hour trying to fix the problem(not an obvious fix), and fortunately working together we had found success. Ryan was both patient and professional well beyond my expectations and I am pleased. Also, Ryan answered all my questions about my Aura Account with wonderful clarity. I commend Ryan as she is a treasure.

I have just signed up with Aura. I'm very happy with what they have done so far. They have taken my information off of the data brokers that sell my information. That helps with all the spam and telephone calls from people and companies that I've never heard of, much less purchase anything from them. I consider that a very good thing!!

It should catch the unwanted email daily. I get 1000 emails a day even if I delete them and tell them it’s spam I still keep getting them. Why doesn’t this program delete them?
