I signed up for a 14 day free trial of aura through google pay. I liked it but aura canceled my subscription even though my payment went through on Google pay. I tried to get my money back back but they sent me to Google pay and googlepay sent me back to aura. It's been 2 and half months between Google pay and aura and neither want to give me a refund even though i am not even receiving the subscription and cant get into it. basically they stole my money because im not receiving this subscription.

Can't use your phone's anti virus protection as one seems to cancel the other out.aura doesn't protect you from malware so I find the vpn useless.trust my phone to detect bad websites.aura only good for I d theft

Yesterday I got an email from Aura saying my credit had been checked, making sure it was me. I hadn't applied for any credit so I called them and have them all the information they needed. Their fraud department was closed already but they had someone call me this morning. I caked them back and they helped me contact the company that ran my credit and make sure to shut down the application immediately. I'm very glad I am using Aura, and highly suggest them to everyone.

After my trial ended, I decided not to continue my membership as I didn't find any passwords I hadn't changed, leaked online. I tried cancelling through the website, but I was faced with a message of it being impossible, at least at that time being. On February 3rd, I received an email stating that my membership would be cancelled, and it was being processed. However, from then to this day, March 13th, over a month, I still get charge attempts (on a daily basis) on both of my debit cards (that I had entered in my account to have them monitored online at the time of my trial) and not just the debit card I had signed up with.
This is insane the least. On March 9th I called their customer support line and spoke to an agent. He confirmed me that my account was cancelled and I should no longer receive any charge attempts. However, 5 days later, I still get those. Today I received the 4th one, since I hang up that call.
Not being able to cancel online with "1 click" and having to call support is something I've never seen before. However even after calling, providing my verification details and being told that I should no longer receive any charge attempts, yet still get those, is out of boundaries.
In case a staff member reads this and wants to confirm it, my Aura account is linked to the same email address this review is posted from. If you need my phone number to check your records (for the phone call I had), it's the one linked in my account, ending with *811. Hopefully this can be sorted out without having to call them again and getting ridiculously charged from my phone provider since I currently live abroad. If I receive no update I guess I'll have to do it this way.

Problem seems to have been resolved for the past week. I increase my rating by 1 star for the direct address of my issue, within 1-2 days after this review was originally posted.

I would give 10 stars if I could...and that because even though im based in the uk and can't buy a subscription with them, they still guided me through what I needed to do with very fast replies and told me that If I ever need anything I should contact them..and all that when they knew from the first email that there was no monetary benefit for them. Great ethos and im so grateful for them!

Receiving an Aura "critical alert" on 3-09-26, my situation was quickly escalated to speaking with Cody, a member of Aura's White Glove Team this morning. Cody explained the alert, listened to the details from me of previous issues with my digital security which made the current alert especially alarming to me, gave specific recommendations about what I could do and should not do regarding the alert, as well as giving steps I could take to further protect myself from identity fraud and identity theft. Very grateful to Cody and to Aura.
