We bought three leather glove seats, a 2 seater, a cuddler and a snuggler. The turnaround was much quicker than we expected and the quality exceptional. The guidance and service offered by Lee and Laura was also very good and they have been a pleasure to deal with. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and indeed one of our friends has already ordered a sofa from them for her new house.

I bought two beautiful leather sofas about 2 years ago, one developed a couple of small faults which were dealt with by the new company / owners perfectly. The sofa is now as good as new and I am really pleased. Their furniture is beautiful and excellent quality. Sometimes things go wrong, that’s life, but if it’s sorted out then everything is fine 😊

Bought a two seater sofa from Authentic Furniture about two years ago, when one of the buttons at the back came loose. Contacted the company and spoke to Laura in Customer Service who turned out to be a real dream. Told her the problem and within the hour she had sorted it out. She arranged for a Guardsman Technician to call. He was polite, efficient and a true craftsman. How wonderful it is to find a company like Authentic and to have great staff like Laura. I can highly recommend this company as they go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy and satisfied.

We bought 2 custom made leather sofas a number of years ago from Authentic Furniture and have been really pleased. Recently the leg of one developed a problem, this was soon rectified, they took the sofa away and lent us another for the 7 days it took to repair. The customer service is second to none and Laura has been excelllent. We are now awaiting a new chair which I am sure will be amazing!

A quick note to say our Little Tailor’s armchair was delivered today, and we love it! The build quality, the leather and the comfort are all excellent. And it looks great in my study. Excellent advice and communication from the company.

We bought our sofa and matching footstool about 2.5 years ago and have loved it from day one. The quality is amazing and it really looks fantastic in our room. We had noticed that one of the arms was starting to fade. I contacted Authentic Furniture to ask for advice on what to use to stop this getting worse and was delighted when they sent someone to respray the sofa and restore it back to looking brand new. Very good aftercare and lovely people to deal with. Can't recommend the company enough.

Fabulous service from this company- really impressed with the speed of response and commitment to excellent customer service. My sofa developed a couple of unexpected wear and tear issues, which have been promptly dealt with. Very impressed.

Exceptional sofas ! If you want to buy a beautifully crafted, bespoke sofa then Authentic Furniture is the place to go. This is my second set of furniture in four years made by Derwent Furnishings Ltd who are the relatively new owners of the Authentic Furniture brand.
My Italian velvet stain resistant corner sofa, armchair and cushions are so comfy and exactly what I hoped they would be and more.
The customer service is truly exceptional, Laura has kept me updated throughout and even managed to get my order rushed through in five weeks instead of the 8-10 weeks when I mentioned how lovely it would be to have it in time for my birthday. I was blown away when she rang me to say it was arriving a week before my special day.
Lee has also been fantastic throughout. Starting from the initial design stage, to advising me on cushion fillings and his product knowledge with regards to the various fabric options is outstanding.
My request to undo my existing leather footstool they made for me four years ago to trim the sides with the velvet from this sofa to link the two rooms together was done with a nothing is too much trouble attitude.
I absolutely love the footstool even more than I did before.
To say I am thrilled with everything is an understatement.

We bought our sofa under the previous owners and the sofa developed a tear in the material as well as a couple of other slight defects such as loose buttons and (we felt) excessive piling. Our emails were going unanswered which was frustrating and the tear was getting worse.

Fast forward a few months and the company had now changed hands. Our emails were now being replied to. Daniel (MD) was keen to get this sorted out as were we. After some backwards and forwards conversations our sofa was returned to the factory to be recovered and this time we chose leather instead of wool. Authentic Furniture were great and replaced the material. I think we paid for the labour or the cost of the material, I’m not quite sure but it was very fair in my view.

We now have our Lady Hardwick sofa back and we love it. It’s so comfy and looks great. The recovering has been done to an excellent standard and it feels like we have a brand new sofa.

Admittedly it took a while getting here due to change of ownership, Covid and discussions due to the tear being a mystery to us all but I feel the problems have been solved satisfactorily and we can enjoy our beautiful sofa again.

I ordered a tufted glove chair from AF in October 2019 , despite several issues with the chair , Covid hit and collection to repair the chair was halted and the company went into administration. However the new owners of AF have sorted all issues with my chair. As soon as it arrived I could tell it was a far superior piece of furniture. The pleats and stitches look amazing and the leather feels as it should. The whole team at AF have been extremely helpful in all areas and I’m now excited to order my next piece

We initially bought our two beautiful leather sofas and lift lid pouffe in summer 2016 hoping if we paid a little more for solid crafted furniture it would give us the style, comfort and durability we wanted from a local UK business. We needn’t have worried as excepting one small problem when new - which they immediately rectified - our sofas are exactly what we wanted and look and feel as good almost five years on as when we first bought them. Since then we have added a footstool and only this month (March 2021) asked if they could make us matching leather arm covers as claw protection from our young cat who insists on sitting on the arms. With their usual excellent customer service they didn’t hesitate to take on the bespoke commission which turned out perfect for our needs and as usual, I can’t fault either their craftsmanship or their customer service. Excellent.

Absolutely brilliant furniture, superb build quality and was delivered ahead of the time frame given. Laura was very helpful and knowledgeable throughout the whole purchasing process.
