Authorsglow promises you that their “community of 30,000+ book reviewers & influencers helps you get more Amazon reviews.” For a fee, naturally. Well, they actually delivered, in the end, but what they didn’t mention, is that those 30,000+ reviewers are all based in India, apparently. I have nothing against getting a lot of reviews from India, per se, but the problem is that most of my readers live in the US and the UK, so the reviews I’ve obtained tend to be a bit one-sided in that respect. For an outfit that advertise themselves as the “best promotion site in the USA and UK”, this seems a bit misleading to say the least. I’m definitely not going to repeat the experience. “Caveat emptor”: let the buyer beware.
