While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Warning

If you want to rent a car in Bishkek, I would advise you to rent a car from another rental company.

I rented a Toyota Camry for 3 days from AutoPark. As part of the deal, I had to put down a deposit of 300 US$ in cash. Apparently, the deposit was to cover any fines from the police (speeding camera). I was told that if I didn't get a fine from the police, they would transfer the deposit back to me after 3 weeks with PayPal.

4 weeks later I had neither received the deposit nor heard from AutoPark. I therefore contacted AutoPark.

They said they would keep US$200 for refueling the vehicle. They therefore only transferred US$100. I strongly disagreed with them and tried to explain to them, that it doesn't make any sense... gas in Kyrgyzstan costs 55 cents per liter. The size of the tank in a Toyota Camry is 65 litres. But what can I do from Europe.

I would therefore advise people to choose a company other than AutoPark.
