I've never wrote a review before but that's how bad auto shack has done me I bought a complete brake set front and back for my truck three of the rotors are correct and one is not I've called I've emailed them send pictures of the parts like they wanted I can't get anyone to call me back likei was told days ago this has been going on for two weeks now I will never buy anything from auto shack again I've learned my lesson all I can say is run DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM AUTO SHACK

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I ordered rear struts for my car. The website said they fit my car. When I got them, the mounting bolts were a couple inches too short. I called AutoShack and they confirmed they sent the correct struts for my car and sent me an email to respond to with my car info and photos. I did that, including a photo of the old and new next to each other clearly showing the bolts were too short. A week later I called again and that person confirmed they sent the correct struts for my car, then said they'd look into the issue and get back to me in 45-60 minutes. I also resent them my email. It's been 6 more days and still no return call??? Don't they care that my car was unusable? I ended up buying coupling nuts and threaded rod to make the bolts long enough to install. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Covering and Securing Customers Packages

I have to start by saying You guys state that you guys been in business for 40 years of excellent service well I doubt that packages was not covered meaning that my package was exposed cause u guys did not wrap or cover the content of the package (rotors box exposed) Today I received my second package brake pads and they also was exposed no cover on package witch led to someone opening the package and thank God they did not steal anything from it Please do better please

Defaulted and Poor Quality Products at Auto…

Very Poor Quality Products at Auto Shack
I purchased front and rear brakes (complete package) consisting 4 slotted rotors and 4 c ceramic pads.
After fixing them in my SUV, a terrible vibration was felt from the wheels when I braked.
I quickly turned round and headed back to the garage to investigate, I was informed that the brake parts I purchased were of a very poor quality and I should return them back to Auto Shack.
When I was at the store to return them I was told that tehy are unable to accept the parts as I have installed them and removed.
True enough, The garage fixed them and removed them immediately due to the vibration the brake parts made, which sounded like a tractor.
I need my money back as I spent $411.75 for the parts
I hope the relevant authorities will look into this and a solution be given to me ASAP

On the back of your invoice you'll see the following policy:

AutoShack Return Policy
AutoShack will allow the return of products within 30 days of original
purchase date; this is limited to:
• Products still in their original packaging.
• Products that have not been altered, disassembled, installed,
painted, or used.
• Products that are not damaged due to improper installation.
• Products that are not missing hardware, instructions, or parts and are
still in their original condition.

Unfortunately, once parts are installed they can only be replaced under warranty. Return of installed parts is not accepted.

This is well and true.
Could anyone please let me know if any defaulted parts could be known before fixing them on your car and test run?
These parts had a roaring noise on applying brakes. The garage owner took all care to fix them correctly.
I can let you have the details of the garage and the person who fixed them if required. You will see that the defaulted brakes were removed immediately for return.(not even an hour was left in the car)
If Auto Shack cannot refund me my money let the manufacturer do so.
After all the consumer law say that "if the customer is not satisfied with a product, They can always rerun them.
If Auto Shack is unable to return my money let the part manufacture do so.
All other consumer parts selling organizations have this policy. How come only Auto Shack dont have it?
Please make arrangements to return my payment at your earliest.

Auto shack Canada Has The Best Prices & Has Lifetime Warranties.

Auto shack Canada is great I have bought many parts from this company before today. Bought a pair of hub bearings last November (2021) and they started showing signs of premature wear, I called customer service amd they promptly shipped out a replacement (i purchased the lifetime warranty) and they were at my door in a few days. I have been very happy up till today. When I checked the website yesterday to buy suspension parts for my 09 G5 GT. The price was $2xx.xx and today was increased up to $2xx.xx. (prices fluctuate due to supply and demand so im not posting the exact prices) I called customer service to inquire about the price increase. The representative that answered my call was a delightful lady named Britney. She was an absolute gem and a pleasure to deal with. She listened to my issue and sympathized with my concerns. She bent over backwards to help make my customer service experience the very best it could possibly be. She was able to process my order for less then the parts were listed for yesterday. Very Happy with the level of service I received.

Results after review

I received a part that came to me damaged. I was not originally happy the the companies resolution and submitted a poor review. Within an hour the company reached out with a acceptable resolution and I quickly received my parts. It is Unfortunate it came down to having to write a poor review to get results, but the company made it right and the parts seem to be good quality at a reasonable price.

Poor part fitment

I ordered front and rear rotors for 2019 GMC sierra, and they didn't fit. Clearly they were for the previous generation truck (in 2019 it was the 1500 limited).
In any case, they offered a refund only if I shipped them back at my expense, which would be exorbitant based on the weight. So I'm out my money.

Use Fitment Tool or Autoshack will not pay for Return Shipping

That's what AutoShack states on their Amazon store.

But I used their Fitment tool.

Their Fitment tool clearly displayed that a 302mm rotor fits my 2013 Chrysler Town and Country Van. I took that to mean exactly what it said and therefore purchased the rotors.

They did not fit. They were too small.

I contacted AutoShack. They admitted that there are two sizes available for my vehicle. But their Fitment Tool came up with only the smaller size (302mm). It did NOT give me the option of choosing the larger size.
Nevertheless, AutoShack said it was my responsibility. It agreed to refund the purchase price, but refused to pay for the return shipment.

So, to potential customers checking out Autoshack: Their Fitment Tool is unreliable. If it comes up with a wrong part, it will cost you. Take your chances.

I read Autoshack's response.

Sure, as AutoShack states, Bullet Point 2 is a detailed description of the 302mm part presented by the Fitment Tool. But AutoShack curiously omitted what the Fitment Tool also VERY CLEARLY displayed:
"✓ This fits 2013 Chrysler Town & Country"

So I bought it. And they promptly shipped it out to me.

It DID NOT fit my 2013 Chrysler Town & Country.

To which they say, it's my fault.

So, potential customers, What would you do when the Fitment Tool tells you that the part fits your vehicle?

As you can see it clearly states 302 mm.

Refunded order on defective part

Ordered multiple items in past. No problems. Ordered a hub assembly for my truck recently. It was bad from the factory I think. Was making an unacceptable noise. Contacted supplier and was issued a refund right away. I ended up going oem for the truck hub. I have since ordered a bunch of suspension parts for another one of my vehicles from Autoshack. Usually great parts and the best shipping times.

Start Here First

Always the first place I check for parts. I tell everyone about autoshack. I've ordered struts, brakes, control arms, etc. The only part I've had, that I had issues with was a set of outer tie rod ends. The boots didn't last. However I didn't install those myself someone else did. So I can't guarantee they were greased properly. I've never had to return anything so I can't speak to that experience but receiving your parts is fast.

I ordered from them through Ebay and…

I ordered from them through Ebay and I'm glad I did because I was able to use Ebay's "Item not described" money back guarantee to force these "people" to refund me my money despite their attempt to force me to pay for return shipping. If you buy from these bozo's on Ebay and they send you the wrong part or its damaged please utilize Ebay's Buyer Protection program and select "Item Not As Described" which will force them to send you a paid shipping label. If you communicate with Autoshack through messaging or by phone BEFORE letting Ebay know there is a problem they will try to convince you that they will need to investigate the item before they will send you a PAID shipping label.

If I could give negative I would

If I could give negative I would. Shipped me a part that will not work and now will not pay shipping to return it. Shipping is more than the part. Will only give a refund IF the part is perfect, after they told me to unpack it and take pictures. Dozens of calls, dozens of pictures (with diagrams as to why it will not work). This has gone on for weeks and hours on the phone and e-mails. No supervisors to speak with, hung up on several times, incompetent personnel and empty promises.
DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE DEAL WITH AUTOSHACK!!!!!!!

Wow so many bad reviews. I have bought many items for different vehicles and had only one issue I ordered 2 sets of rear calipers so end up with 4. I paid for 4 and the cost to ship 2 back was not worth it. I kept the extra set incase they don't last. So 2 years later no issues. Last just as long as parts from napa

I’ve ordered so many parts from Auto Shack and have never had an issue with quality or my order. Shipping in ridiculously fast. If you have an issue with Auto Shack it’s almost a guarantee that it’s your mistake, not theirs. They are the first site I check before I go anywhere else, including local.

I am extremely frustrated and…

I am extremely frustrated and dissatisfied with the service I received today. The last two orders were great, and parts were excellent. Today I was given a run around, one moment they had the rotors I needed, then when I asked about my warranty from last set, I was out in hold and they never came back ,. I called again and was told that I was covered under the warranty but that they didn't have the rotors in stock,. Was supposed to be put on hold, but actually wasn't because I could her all the other operators in the background talking, rep came back to phone and said there was no date as to when parts would be back in stock . I won't buy from this place again.
