Autotronics carried out repair to my ecu with in 4 day's for a fair price

Big thanks to the autotronics team
"Fast, Reliable, and Professional Service from Autotronics!"
I had a fantastic experience with Autotronics! They were incredibly fast and got straight to the point with my repair, successfully fixing the initial fault on my car—fingers crossed it stays that way! The pricing was reasonable, though my final cost was slightly higher than quoted due to extensive PCB damage requiring a full replacement. Communication was excellent throughout, with regular updates keeping me informed. Highly recommend their efficient and professional service!
Porsche 944 Turbo Cluster Fix
Sent my Porsche 944 Turbo Cluster off to Autotronics for a quote to get my mileometer fixed. It was expensive, but nowhere near the price of just a new speedo from Porsche, the whole process was excellent from being told it had arrived to the quote and the time it would take / ship back to me (all under a week) & with a 2 year warranty! - Cannot fault their service and attention to detail. Highly recommended
Excellent
Easy collection, brilliant communication, sadly couldn't replicate the fault, so rang for instructions going forward. Chose to have it returned rather than cloned into another unit. Can't fault the service.
Autotronics had my ecu in June for…
Autotronics had my ecu in June for repair and sent it back as fixed although it was just as it was sent with faults, so I had someone else a specialist garage for Mercedes do a diagnostic test on the car. They found the same as me the ECU was faulty so I sent it back to Autotronics, after 5 weeks and having been told it will be ready on Monday then Wednesday for 3 weeks it finally arrived back. Great I thought then I put it back in the car and it had all the faults as it had when I sent it to Autotronics, This was prior to starting the engine, now bear in mind they stated they were changing the chip so how could the faults be on the new chip?
Complete waste of money and time will not use again nor can I recommend.

I have used autotronics a number of times over the last few years. The turn around is always quick and communication good.
Quick turn around
Quick turn around, works perfectly fine now. Would recommend
Honest from the first call
The initial call was so informative, they listened and advised what options I had.
The ECU and Electronic Ignition Switch were intimittently faulty, the advice was easy to understand and cost structure explained.
I sent the items for repair, no faults could be found however the engineer advised intermittent faults are hard to catch, they offered a remanufactured ECU and new circuit board for the electronic ignition switch, which I gave the go ahead.
So I had open dialogue honesty and options, completely as it should be.
It worked car started first time with problems gone. Will autotronics or myself ever know the actual fault, no, did they give me enough information for an informed choice, ABSOLUTLY, and it worked.
Cost wise both were fixed for the price of a new electronic ignition switch from Mercedes. So value for money is excellent.
Communication is extremely good, friendly and helpful.
Did I read the negitive reviews, yes, from what I read some people simply miss this is a repair service not buy new and replace, somethings can't be fixed or would cost more than a new item. Also complaints on cost, I'd suggest people read the very clear information on the website.
A courteous service with good communications
The engineers took on a key fob which had been in the washing machine, it is now working perfectly
Sent my Saab 9-3 instrument cluster for…
Sent my Saab 9-3 instrument cluster for repair, after paying the £170 ‘repair and shipping’ fee it was returned. Unfortunately it wasn’t fixed, unit was returned for re-work, (fortunately no fee was taken this time), again, ‘repaired’ unit was returned to me…. Again not fixed! When contacting them was told they weren’t able to fix it…… enquired about a refund….. none given. As to see the engineers report to see what was done…. None given…… for all I know the unit could have sat on a shelf then returned. Although happy with the communication, not happy with the outcome. Won’t be using them again!

Would give 1000 stars if it was possible. After one of my car’s had been of the road for over six months with a temperature sensor fault, £1000+ spent, new sensors, new air box, tried countless auto electricians who all walked away from it, we’d lost all hope and were so close to resigning my pride and joy to the big scrap heap in the sky…until one auto electrician recommended cutting out the middle man and sending our ECU to these guys, BEST DECISION EVER!!! They couldn’t find a fault with the ECU but didn’t want to just send the unit back to us and were so helpful and offered to clone the ECU in the hope that the new one worked perfectly. IT WORKS PERFECTLY!!! No faults and car runs as it should. My pride and joy convertible is back on the road.🥳🥳🥳
Broken Jaguar Key Repair
From the first email enquiry about the possible repair of a Jaguar key, I was impressed with the communication from the Autotronics team. I posted the unserviceable key and then had an early, reassuring phone call to check the return address and this was particularly well received. My key was repaired within two days and sent back via DPD. All round a wonderful service. Oh, and so nice to have a working key again. Thank you to the people at Autotronics.
Communication throughout the repair.
