Unfortunately unable to post a zero star. Shambolic company with extremely poor customer service. Fob you off with lies and then completely ignore emails when you try and raise a complaint. I paid off my loan early but in the period between the money being paid to Avant and it reaching the account another payment was taken. I contacted avant and was told it would take 14 working days to process a refund for the overpayment. Well that was nearly 5 weeks ago and I have been fobbed off,ever since and still haven’t received my money back. Steer well clear of these chancers there are more reputable companies you can deal with rather than these charlatans.

I read when I took this out that you will never get another loan after the first and this is correct. Doesn't matter how perfect you make payments and a better credit rating you still won't get a second. Odd set up for a company

I had a loan with Avantcredit for over three years with only a few months left to pay, I contacted the company on the day my monthly payment of £270 was taken to find out how many payments were left due to me overpaying monthly and was told i had about £500 left to pay and did i want to clear the loan with a single payment, I declined and said i would continue to pay the monthly payments until the loan was cleared, however Avantcredit then decided to debit my debit card with the remaining balence and as they are able to authorise the debit without the bank (Nationwide) permission i was automatically sent into unortharised overdraft, with grocery shopping, direct debits etc going out before i realised that Avantcredit had taken the money. this then led to unwarranted overdraft fees, returned direct debits and charges, charges from other companies for there direct debits being refused etc.
Avantcredit were so unhelpful and it took almost two weeks to return the money meaning the following week when my wages had been paid into my account i was again sent into unarranged overdraft and even more charges.
Avancredit continually told me they would sort the problem and it would be rectified by the next day even though it took two weeks, managers continually lied to me stating they had sorted the problem and the money was waiting to clear my bank even though it hadn't been paid back.

The customer service at Avantcredit is unbelievably bad, no one seems to know what they are doing, you can never speak to a manager that ca give you any truthful answers or be of real help, i spent over 7 hours on the phone over a week to these people and finished no farther forward than when i had started.
There are plenty of lenders out there so please do not use this company unless you want problems, i am still waiting to find out if my credit report has been damaged due to things not being paid due to this company taking all of my available money from my account.

Clearscore told me I was 100% pre-approved for this loan with an interest rate of 11.3% APR. After waiting for 5 days for a decision I was declined. Hopefully this will not have affected credit rating. Only reason I tried for the loan was because of the pre-approval.

I can honestly say I have never dealt with a more incompetent company.
It has been over 3 weeks since applying for a loan and still no decision made, I have followed this up every day and keep getting the same generic response via email, or the same script read out when I make a phone call.
utterly ridiculous.
Shouldn't be this difficult to say yes or no!
I just want to know the outcome then I can decide whether to make alternate arrangements.

I have done an early repayment on my loan and this was on 24th November. I have since checked my account to make sure it was updated and it is still showing as an open loan. When i called them they said i owed 1p! i have called everyday and emailed to try resolving even offered to pay the 1p which was not showing on my account and still the saga continues. i just want my account to reflect the truth. This was cleared off 7 days ago and still your showing it as active! Customer services have been appalling. 30 minutes on the phone earlier and when meant to be on hold they cut me off!

A fast an easy way to get a loan for people with not so good credit ratings. Easy on line access with the ability to change payment dates/increase payments. Would recommend to anyone needing help

Takes a while. But they do what they need to do. But once cleared,funds where in my account next day.

Would give zero if possible. Absolute terrible service. 3 weeks after applying still no decision so I cancelled. When you speak to advisors they all say the same as if reading off script. Avoid

It was to feed in my details and a quick answer get my loan. The whole process only took a few minutes.

Amazing! One day I completed the boxes and pressed send, thus receiving a few emails. The following day no more emails and then I checked online banking. Unbelievably surprised, there were the loan monies! I was so thrilled even could say I was elated. Thank you so much AvantCredit UK.

They don’t deserve one star! They can’t respond to queries or complaints correctly or professionally and think it’s acceptable to send an automated email to communicate. Forget speaking with advisors they can never put you on the phone to a manager or the correct department. They just say we will raise it on your account. Oh and don’t even think of moving your payment dates when you log in online, as they sting you with even more interest that doesn’t show until you have paid, what you believe to be your final instalment!! Double whammy again with the ridiculous APR they have made already on interest charged to me on the loan! Never again!
