Travel insurance at age 87
Wanted a one year multi trip travel insurance policy for Uk plus Europe. Disclosed my health history that included a heart attack and prostate cancer in the noughties - both long since overcome. Sensible competitive premium quoted. Duly accepted. I can now travel with confidence knowing that I have put the right arrangements in place. Admin was easy enough - answering on-line questions.

Travel insurance. Avanti go customer service was awful
Avanti go customer service was awful. I needed to make an amendment to the policy. Was informed of extra charge of around £60. They had already took £350 for original policy. They then removed £60 + £422 without refunding the original payment. Rude customer agents talked over me while I tried to explain. Had to speak to manager to resolve the matter as the initially denied taking the £60. Did finally sort it out and am awaiting refund of outstanding amount. No compensation offered. Will avoid them next time I travel.
