Avask has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. Their incompetence and lack of professionalism have cost us dearly. They completely mishandled our Spanish VAT payments, ignored reminders from the Spanish Tax Authority, and only paid months later, resulting in a huge fine.
The level of negligence is staggering. We have been constantly ignored, with no answers to our questions, no transparency, and no accountability. They have shown a total disregard for our business and have made a difficult situation much worse.
This company is a disaster. If you value your time and money, DO NOT trust Avask. They are unprofessional, unreliable, and completely incapable of handling even the simplest tasks. I wouldn’t trust them to handle anything. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.

We were with this firm for five years and not once did we receive an accurate VAT return. Every single quarter, the VAT was miscalculated, and despite repeated complaints, nothing was ever resolved. It’s been clear that the company — from management down to the bookkeepers — has no regard for clients or their businesses and even hostile.
Over the years, more than 30 different Xero users were added to our account, creating chaos in our books and making reconciliation a nightmare. They clearly never communicate to each other. The final straw came when we raised concerns once again about the persistent issues — instead of taking accountability or offering a resolution, they responded by increasing our service fees tenfold. Yes, ten times more — and that’s not an exaggeration.
I genuinely can’t point to a single area of accounting where things were handled correctly. Absolutely every aspect of their service was flawed, and not one of the errors was ever properly addressed.
This has been the most unprofessional and uncooperative accounting firm we’ve dealt with.
P.S. AVASK — please refrain from replying as your so-called ‘Customer Services Team’. I can say with 100% confidence that such a department simply does not exist.

They have been trying to register VAT in Spain for over 9 months and now they tell me that another power of attorney is needed. They never respond to my cases and simply forget about the client. I don't know how to communicate with them. This company forgets about clients as soon as it receives money into its account!
UPD: This company just stole my money and stopped responding to all my emails. Even after posting this post, no one contacted me!

I really like the speed & service of AVASK especially with new inquiries. For example when requesting to register NEW VAT numbers the proces is really smooth and fast. Also since this year the AVASK portal is quite user friendly so we are very happy users so far.

At the beginning, I had no prior knowledge of the process, but Khaled explained everything clearly and patiently, which was very helpful. So I'm trying to expand my business from US to Europe and honestly it's been a nightmare with all the regulations and stuff. But these guys at Avask have been incredible.
They actually respond to emails same day which is crazy these days, and they don't just wait for me to ask questions - they're always one step ahead telling me what I need to do next. The amount they know about VAT, EPR, all that European compliance stuff is honestly impressive. I thought I was going to have to figure this all out myself.
They hooked me up with some solid partners for my Amazon ops over there too. The whole EORI number thing, business registration, I was completely lost but they walked me through everything.
Look I've worked with a lot of consultants over the years and most are just taking your money. These guys actually know their stuff and genuinely want to help you succeed. If you're thinking about expanding to Europe just call them, it'll save you months of headaches.
Worth every penny.

Long story short, RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. We have had fines and fines (Spain and Italy) due to the poor service provided by them. Lack (or no) communication, excuses and more excuses and in the end delays in general. Our "account agent" Victoria (Vicky) is useless.
Edit: What I thought might be the case, I am now 100% sure. Less than 2 hours after my review was published on Trustpilot I received a response from the company. By email, there were times when I sent more than FIVE emails WITHOUT any response for more than weeks. If you send the request through AVASK's page (as they now ask), there are cases that can remain open for more than 1 month. Really the best thing to do is to RUN AWAY from this company.
Edit II: If a company has EVERY opportunity to help in private and DOESN'T do so, there's no reason to bother helping when the case becomes public. By the way, this company is already getting some REALLY BAD testimonials in Amazon seller groups. I hope this is just the beginning.

It is truly unacceptable to have to wait such a long time just to receive a reply. In my case, I have been waiting for over 3 weeks for my VAT de-registration because I’m moving to another country and need to restart my Amazon business with new VAT numbers. I have sent multiple messages and received no response or update.
When delays like this directly affect a client’s ability to work and earn income, the lack of communication is not justified. I will not be working with them again.
