Avoid AVASK at all costs – the worst service I’ve ever experienced
I am absolutely done with AVASK. DO NOT do business with this company. Two years ago, I requested VAT numbers in various EU countries through AVASK. After about 9 months, I wanted to cancel everything – that was almost 1.5 years ago, and I am still trying to complete the cancellation.
They are impossible to reach, take over 30 days to reply (if they even do), and no one takes responsibility for anything. In the meantime, they continue to charge monthly fees throughout the entire cancellation process – clearly dragging things out for profit.
Eventually, I managed to cancel in most countries – except for Spain. That process has been an absolute nightmare. They required a notarized and legalized document, which I had done (at my own expense). I sent it to them first by email for verification – it took them over a month to respond, but they confirmed everything was correct.
I mailed the document as instructed, only to be told over 30 days later that it was missing an apostille – and now everything has to be redone. I had already paid €150 to my notary and continued paying AVASK's fees the entire time!
Now they’re telling me I need to use their notary and pay for everything again. This is completely unacceptable. I demand that they cover the costs and handle the rest themselves. I’ve already paid far too much and wasted more than a year of my time.
I was warned about AVASK beforehand, but thought I’d be fine since I’m normally meticulous with documents and bookkeeping. I couldn’t have been more wrong. This is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with, and I can’t even seem to get rid of them.
Stay far away from AVASK. Unresponsive, disorganized, and exploitative. Total scammers.

SCAM - BIG SCAM
SCAM. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM. We lost a lot of money because of these scammers. We made a one-time payment with our credit card, and I clearly said NO when the system asked if we wanted to save the card. But they went ahead and saved it anyway, and started charging my card over and over without permission. They made random, ridiculous charges and just kept taking money. This is blatant fraud.
We’ve had plenty of other bad experiences with them too. Anyway, I’m going to sue them — I’ll keep you updated if there are any developments.

These people take 2 weeks to respond to an email. Even when you ask them to terminate your contract, they will ignore your claims and still charge your credit card.
Don't work with those very unprofessional people.

Disastrous VAT Deregistration – Caused Major Business Disruption
Our experience with AVASK has been deeply disappointing and damaging to our business. Despite trusting them to manage our EU VAT registrations, they wrongfully deregistered our German VAT number without authorisation, effectively shutting down our ability to sell across Europe for several weeks.
Germany is our primary hub for PAN-EU fulfilment via Amazon – without it, our entire EU distribution collapsed. We were left with:
No ability to sell in Europe
Products delisted
Inventory stuck in warehouses racking up storage fees
Declining sales rank and account health
Amazon threatening account deactivation due to missing VAT invoice compliance
This wasn’t an isolated mistake. It followed months of poor service, delays, and repeated errors from AVASK, including missed VAT filings (which led to fines from tax authorities), slow onboarding, and constant miscommunication. Despite numerous apologies from their team, including senior managers, things only got worse.
Their only response has been to offer a token gesture of 3 months’ free VAT filing—completely inadequate given the scale of the damage. We’ve been left to pick up the pieces and absorb the losses while chasing them for accountability.
If you rely on VAT accuracy and Amazon compliance, I strongly advise you to think twice before trusting AVASK.

A breath of fresh air and a great portal experience
