The Level bike I purchased 5 years ago is a high quality piece of equipment, I give it a 5 star rating. I currently have 8400 miles on the bike and was getting concerned about the battery life so I called your customer service to verify the purchase of a new battery. They sold me a new battery that would work for my level bike so I would have a back-up battery. When I tried the new battery it wouldn't work. The system (computer) wouldn't turn on. The new battery requires a wiring change. Final result is I have a new battery and I still love my bike but my original battery will no longer work after the wiring upgrade so I didn't end up with the back-up battery I wanted.

The A1 controller is going to fail.

I guess my issue is that the Aventure A1 controller is going to fail. It apparently is inevitable. We have two A1s and absolutely loved them. At around 2K miles, my wife's A1 got an Error code 29, Over Voltage. The bike would not do anything with that code present. After days of trying different batteries, changing sensors, taking the controller apart to check for any evident damage, I finally concluded that the controller itself went bad inside somewhere. It would perform normal with a battery that only had a 60 % or less charge. Ordered a new controller for around 50 bucks and it fixed the problem. I thought, "things go bad, it's naturally going to happen".
Then the following year, my A1 controller did the exact same thing. Error 29, Over Voltage, with 3029 miles on it. 7 miles from home. The wife had to run home and get the truck because you can't pedal these fat tire bikes very far without power. I didn't even bother troubleshooting, I just ordered another one, but now they're almost $100 with shipping. But it fixed the problem. How long before it happens again?
We loved our A1s and rode the heck out of them but now am afraid to trust them because you never know when the controller is going to error again, leaving us stranded.

I love my Level 3 Aventon bike

Outstanding customer service

Broke the kick stand while unloading. Emailed Aventon got an immediate response. Ordered exact replacement and it shipped that day. They followed up to see if it was covered under the warranty but it was so inexpensive I had already just paid for it. Have had Aventon bikes for years and still have them all.

Bought brake parts for my pace 500…

Bought brake parts for my pace 500 they they were a different brake system, and that was what my bike came with when new aventon sent me the wrong brake pads and rotor got through email. They put me in contact with the right source to get the right parts and refunded my money for the parts that I had received. It’s a pleasure doing business with Aventon my pace 500 now has 1500 miles and still going strong recommended thank you

Pleasant Surprise

Truly happy Aventon riders !My wife and I have had our Aventons for…

My wife and I have had our Aventons for over 3 years and love them . She having a Pace500 and me having a Sinch . If at some point we choose to upgrade we will definitely stay with the Aventons . Spending our winters in Fl. and summers in Mn. we have them in two extremes for weather . We are less than a mile from the gulf and still have no rust to speak off . That in itself is incredible let alone all we’ve done to them is replace brake pads and the cover for my battery charging port . We both have over 1,100 miles on them to date . Have not seen or checked out an e-bike that I would rather have .

Shipped a used bike rack but was resolved quickly

The delivery was quick however when I received my hitch rack it had been used and was missing hardware. I contacted their customer service and it was resolved quickly and without headache. Once they shipped me the new one it was simple to assemble and fits my hitch well, although I don’t have a bike yet I feel that the rack would have no problem supporting the bike and seems well built.
