You are NOT protected and they will bail out when you need help.

Be aware that you are NOT protected in a serious case. AXA will 100% find a way to bail out, when you need help most.
It’s my own fault not to have changed insurance last year, after multiple really bad experiences with them. Now that I actually need legal assistance, they bailed out yet again.

Some examples from the past:

- Asked them to help to dispute return of sign on bonus back to my employer. They told me it’s hopeless case and to forget about it. I followed the advice, only to discover later that a colleague successfully disputed that with the help of her legal insurance. 20k CHF damage to me.

- Asked them to help to dispute botched flat renovation. They had conflict of interest, as renovation company was also insured by them. They refused to let an independent layer review the case. They actually gave me wrong advice and I almost got sued because of it. Their layer literally threatened me on the phone and was pushing me to accept the offer from the counter party. My complaints about it were ignored, and they only cared when I ultimately left bad Google review. They then called me to literally force me to take it down, and when I refused, they simply hand phone on me and ignored all my follow ups. 10k CHF damage to me.

- Now I needed help, as seller of the flat didn’t disclose substantial flaws about the flat before purchase. AXA bailed out completely (!) because I didn’t report flat purchase fast enough. It is under one month and all happened simultaneously. I actually even called them week before to inform, but wait time was too long and this week the things came out. They use this to say the case is not insured. Not to mention, that noone even told me I have to add it explicitly to the contract. Original offer I got back then has no information like that. Damage to me probably in 50-100k CHF area..

During all the time I am with them, there were only 2 cases where they actually did something, and those were minor.
