We met Floyd and Harvey by chance in Beddington Park and we connected immediately. Floyds passion, insight and knowledge of the game were immediately apparent and helpful for me and my son.

I would highly recommend Floyd to any parent that wants to give their child the extra details to get them to the next level.

Floyd the head coach is amazing, he has so much experience and delivers a very professional level of training. My son max has one to one lessons with him and I can see how much he improves after his sessions. I would Highly recommend his training for anyone that wants to be taught the right way.

I highly recomend Floyd and his son Harvey at axten FC. My 13year old son started with them at the begining of the year and the improvement in him is amazing! And thats not just within football, his personality/confidence/attitude to school/slef esteem/fitness attitude have all majorly got so much better. I cant thank these guys enough for what they have done i am so very greatful to them all.. This is deffinatly the team to join.

Through Floyd's excellent 1 to 1 coaching sessions, my daughter has grown in confidence and also expanded her skill base to enhance and improve her game. Coach Floyd is an amazing gentleman who has a holistic approach to coaching football. He (and his wonderful son, Harvey) started coaching my son last year and we have seen a marked improvement in my son's technique and attitude. My nephew and niece have also had a few sessions and have been nothing short of impressed with his style, technique and dedication. He never watches the clock and you can tell that coaching and football are his passion and he genuinely cares about these boys, not just in terms of their football skills but also in their mental wellbeing. Harvey is also a very impressive young man and has been a great "big brother" figure to my son - keep up the good work!

Highly recommended. Floyd and Harvey are both excellent at what they do. A no stress environment where the finer skills of football can be perfected. Progress seems to come very easily with Floyd’s experience and style of coaching.

My daughter has been training with Floyd for a few months now and I cannot recommend him enough. Not only have her football skills improved so has her over all confidence and she even seems to enjoy football more now, even more than she did before! The 1 - 2 - 1 sessions are so valuable and she really enjoys them too. Floyd is a genuinely lovely and caring coach and he genuinely brings out the best in a player when coaching and I am so happy that I found him when I was looking for a coach for my daughter. Cannot recommend him enough!

My 6 year old son has been having 1-2-1 sessions with Floyd since July and his football skills have come on no end in this time. Floyd makes every session personalised to the child, focusing on both football skills as well as the mental side of the game. Having never trained with a coach before, Floyd started by going over the essentials first and then gradually adding in different skills as my son became more confident. My son looks forward to all the sessions as they are so enjoyable. Floyd is extremely professional and I would highly recommend him.

After one robust session and 1-2-1 in depth Q&A Floyd was ready to hone in on what was needed to supplement my sons game. Over the next weeks and months my son has learned to understand how different positions are played; understood the need to be mentally prepared pre-match and begun to learn the importance of a healthy dietary approach. All this has added to his game as a player of the beautiful game. Floyd has even taken the time to make a phone call the morning of a tournament to instil that extra layer of belief. We can say enough - time, effort and money well spent. All this has added to my sons U12 academy game.

My daughter aged 8 and sons aged 10, 13, have trained with Axtenfc for three years. Sessions are fun and enjoyable, combined with developing technical skills, and discipline. My children have grown in confidence, Floyd always gives 100% commitment to doing his best and getting the best out of all of my children. Highly recommend.

My 11 year daughter has been having 1-2-1 sessions with Floyd for a year now and has progressed so much as a footballer , not only in her understanding of the game but her mindset, confidence and skills.
All down to what brilliant sessions Floyd provides.
Floyd takes so much time to make sure his sessions get the very best out of our daughter.
His sessions are structured , but he will always listens to her if theres something she needs to work on.
She has come on so much in just a year.
Not only has she learnt the rules and skills she needs but also the right mindset to have on and off the pitch.

My 2 boys (7 and 8) have been training with Axten FC for over 18 months now and thoroughly enjoy their sessions with Floyd and Harvey.
Their sessions are well organised, professional and varied and Floyd is keen to listen to feedback from the boys on areas they want to focus. Their skills and understanding of the game are noticeably increasing all the time, and Floyd takes the time to explain how the mental mindset and skill set can be applied in everyday life (for example concentration, listening and confidence).

Started 1 to 1 training with Floyd about a year ago aged 15 and I’ve seen nothing but improvement. Sessions are always on time and organised. He helps with both the mental aspect of the game (positioning, emotions before during and after a game/trial) and physical side to the game as well as dietary and fitness outside training. Floyd is always willing to go the extra mile for you as long as you put in the work and works alongside you to reach your potential. Would highly recommend to players at any level who want to improve or just love to play football especially in a professional/calm environment.

It is going to be 2 years in August since the day I’ve met Coach F. Johnson with my father. From the first very moment he has been efficient and professional , as well as very nice. With Mr. Johnson my prospective of the game has improved drastically, as well as my performance on the pitch. He helped me improve the mental aspect of my game, an aspect that I didn’t really look after, and till this day I am still improving it and will continue to do so. Alongside with 1-2-1 sessions, I have also attended sessions with his son and other young players as well, and the approach and assistance was pretty much spot on. I would definitely recommend AxtenFC to anyone who loves football, the environment is top tier. Definitely looking forward to more sessions.

My son who is 10 has been having 1-2-1 coaching with Floyd over the last 2 years. Floyd is what I call an all round football coach who not only focuses on improving your technical football skills but also pays attention on developing the confidence and well being of the players. My son enjoys the sessions a lot and has really improved his game; Floyd sometimes organises mini matches with a few other children which is a lot of fun and a chance to put into practice what they have been working on in the private sessions. I highly recommend Floyd!

My son has been to more than a dozen 1:1 sessions with Floyd, and will keep doing so in the future. As well as teaching him the fundamentals of football, he is also helping him with managing his competitive emotions. My son really enjoys these sessions, and I see them as the perfect balance of enjoyment and challenge for him.

My 9 year old son has been training with Floyd (and on occasion his son) over the last year and his confidence, skills and general demeanour have all improved hugely. All credit to Floyd - my son keeps his head up, looks everyone in the eye with a steely gaze now, and he has actual skills. Mostly he does one to one training but sometimes there's one or two other kids about the same age there. Floyd's a lovely guy and his approach is very professional. Can't recommend him enough.
