Great experience with replacement of keys and switches on keyboard
I have two full (not compact) AZIO Retro Classic Artisan keyboards that, years ago, each had some bad key switches. Without thought, I had set them aside, but recently contacted AZIO about gettting keys and switches replaced. They issued a quote and an RMA advice, and I sent them the keyboards. In less than the promised two weeks from their receipt of the keyboards they were sent back to me, and I'm thrilled. They are back in service! They look like they did when they were new.
Terrible customer experience
Absolutely horrible customer service. I can’t believe this company is able to continue functioning. Products seem well made until you need support, in which case, good luck.
Horrible Customer Service from a Greedy Company
I bought the Azio Retro Keyboard in January 2024 and loved it for a brief time. By March, the N key started sticking. I reached out to the warranty department and was told I need to ship the keyboard back and they will asses whether or not it's a warranty issue and determine the next steps. That process would take approximately 2 weeks not including shipping times. I asked about an exchange prior to shipping it back as it's the only keyboard I have. They declined but said they could expedite the process once they receive it. So, I had to buy a back up keyboard to use while they determined how to resolve the issue with the keyboard I had just paid almost $200 for. I paid $40.68 to ship it back for warranty service. They did expedite the process and sent me another keyboard which I quickly determined was refurbished aka used. I then reached out and requested a refund for the $40.68 shipping as I feel it was unreasonable for me to have to pay shipping to return a defective product. They declined the request but I'm a pretty determined person so I pushed back and, after several emails back and forth, I was offered a $40 coupon that could only be used on their web site. Absolutely not! By that time, I had already determined their focus was profit at the expense of customer satisfaction and they had very little interest in doing the right thing. I was no longer interested in doing business with them so the $40 coupon would be a waste. After I declined the coupon and again requested a refund for the shipping, they said that, because it worked for 3 months, it was not a manufacturing defect. What! So it seems they only expect their high priced keyboard to work for a short time. If you read the other reviews, it's definitely a manufacture's defect that seems to be pretty common. So..... I paid $194.91 for a brand new keyboard that, less than 3 months later, no longer functioned properly due to a manufacturing defect. I then had to pay $40.68 to return that defective keyboard only to get a refurbished one. I have now paid $235.59 for a used keyboard. I so wish I had paid attention to the negative reviews, it would've saved me over $200 and a lot of time. I will never buy another product from this company and I hope you can learn from my, and numerous other people's, mistake. There are much better options out there for less money from more reputable companies.
Terrible Buyer's Experience
Website is buggy. Obsurd shipping fees (96aud vs Nuphy 11aud). Patchy communication. Ended up getting a refund and going to Nuphy instead.
I bought a Retro keyboard for myself
I bought a Retro keyboard for myself, then bought additional keyboard for execs as they all loved this keyboard. The only problems we've had......and this is with keyboards in use since Azio first brought out this model......is that the backlit keys lights go out unexplainably. One day they work the next they don't. This has only happened twice out of about 8 daily use keyboards. Support was very helpful and even provided packaging for me to return keyboard for service. Actual date should show 2021 to Apr 2024 but pick list of dates only went back to April of 23.

HORRIBLE Support
Purchased an expensive mouse. A few months in, the scroll stops working. Contacted support, and they gave zero instruction or testing to fix it. Response time is extremely slow. They finally requested information on my purchase, which I sent. Then after a month of asking for the status, they tell me the information I sent wasn't good enough. So I send more information. Then they tell me to send the mouse in the original box to them. No information on if they're refunding, sending a new mouse, fixing it... just blindly send off your mouse to a company that has now taken two months to communicate (or not) about something as simple as fixing a mouse scroll... and only if you've kept the original box. I loved the mouse, but it only lasted a few months, and dealing with support has been the worst. I've bought a few things from them, but never again!

Love my Azio IZO keyboard…
I was a backer of the Azio IZO keyboard and of course I had to wait a while to receive my items. And I can honestly say it was worth the wait! I bought the white blossom Izo keyboard, mouse, numpad, mouse pad and arm rest. Everything is so beautiful but most importantly, everything works with both PC and MAC. I haven’t had any issues so far.
