While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. Avoid this company! They breach UK laws.

We are registered with the Corporate Telephone Preference Service (CTPS), which makes it a breach of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), Regulation 21 for a company to make unsolicited marketing calls to us without consent. Despite this, B2B Online have repeatedly called our business to try to sell mobile phone contracts.

We have clearly told them several times not to contact us again. Continuing to make marketing calls after an organisation has objected is also a breach of UK GDPR Article 21 (Right to Object to Direct Marketing) and the Data Protection Act 2018, as they are required to stop processing our number for marketing immediately.

On the latest call, their representative became argumentative and abusive, which we consider unacceptable. Repeated unwanted and abusive calls may also amount to a “course of conduct” under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.

In summary, based on our experience, their calls appear to breach:

➡️ PECR 2003, Regulation 21 – Unsolicited marketing calls to a CTPS-registered number

➡️ UK GDPR Article 21 – Failure to honour an objection to direct marketing

➡️ Data Protection Act 2018 – Continued processing of data after objection

➡️ Potentially, the Protection from Harassment Act 1997 if the conduct continues

This behaviour is unprofessional, unlawful, and shows a lack of compliance with basic UK marketing regulations. I would strongly advise other businesses to be cautious.

I used B2B Online to find out the best options available for our mobile phone contracts. They were able to research the market and come up with the best options for us and simply give us the choices. No time spent searching the market, trying to compare different options. Saved me time and money and it was so easy
