Customer Service that Went Above and Beyond
We placed a very last-minute order for a stroller, as our granddaughter's had broken earlier that day. We needed the stroller by first thing the next morning. Melissa went above and beyond to make sure we had the stroller when we needed it. I would not hesitate to recommend Babonbo based on the great customer service we experienced with Melissa.

My experience with Babonbo was mixed
My experience with Babonbo was mixed, but I appreciate how they ultimately handled the situation.
I booked a child car seat with airport delivery. Due to an unexpected flight delay, the provider requested an additional €20 because my arrival was after their "business hours." These business hours and the surcharge were not disclosed in the provider's listing before I booked.
I was initially asked to pay the additional amount directly to the provider rather than through the Babonbo platform, and when I asked for a receipt, I was told that if it was a problem, I should cancel the booking. Since I was already at the airport with my family and needed the child seat, I had no realistic alternative but to pay.
I contacted Babonbo afterwards. Although their initial responses were disappointing, they took the time to investigate the case. They confirmed that providers are not allowed to request payments outside the Babonbo platform, refunded the €20 as a goodwill gesture even though they had not received the payment themselves, and informed me that they would remind the provider of their policies and take action if similar behaviour occurred again.
I still believe Babonbo could improve transparency by ensuring that providers clearly disclose any business-hour restrictions or additional airport delivery fees before customers book. Flight delays are a normal part of air travel, so customers should know about these conditions in advance.
Overall, I appreciate that Babonbo listened to my concerns, investigated the matter and ultimately resolved the issue fairly.

Perfect provider, perfect stroller, perfect experience
Maiko is very cooperative and speedy in her responses, truly saved us during this trip. The stroller is in excellent condition, the back lays down perfectly for a 1 year old to sleep comfortably. The bottom basket is wide and holds the baby bag with at least 2 large bottles of water (amazing for tourism within the city)
The stroller also locks for safety. And it was given to us with rain protector, we didnt need it thankfully but it was reassuring to know we have it just in case.

Easy to find the stroller I needed!
The website made it easy for me to connect with a mom in another country with a stroller I needed. Our communication was easy and clear. Booking was easy - though the fees were higher than expected, would be nice to include all fees in listed price up front.
