I want to like backmarket but i keep getting the same problems with second hand phones
I really want to like backmarket but I can't. The first item i bought (google pixel 6a), i had no problems and would give a 5/5 for that. However, any other phones I've tried to buy second hand on backmarket, I keep getting the same problems - either the phone is locked, or the camera makes a noise when taking a photo which indicates the phone has come from Asia. This is making me feel that the excellent condition phones aren't actually second hand at all, but simply being sourced from cheaper areas.

Shambles.
Ordered airpod 2 pros in 'excellent' condition, when they arrived I tried to connect to my phone only to learn that they had put 2 different gens of airpods in the case so it was useless. They clearly don't check products before sending. Avoid at all costs.

Order Lost & Back Market Refuses to Deliver Replacement or Cover Price Gap

I am deeply dissatisfied with Back Market's service. I ordered an iPhone 13 Pro Max (512GB), but the item was lost in transit by their courier. Instead of resolving the issue by providing a replacement, Back Market unilaterally issued a refund without my consent.
To make matters worse, the price for the exact same model on their platform has now increased by £87. Because of their delivery failure and refusal to price-match or cover the £87 gap, I am left without my phone and unable to re-order it without taking a financial loss.
Under the UK Consumer Rights Act, I am entitled to be put back in the position I would have been in had the contract been fulfilled. Refusing to cover this price difference for a lost order is completely unfair. I urge management to review Order ID: 82027786 and resolve this immediately.
