Updated: Customer Service doesn't respond to requests

UPDATE: Apparently to get help you must contact them at hello at balticborn dot com and not through their website. Why they have a "contact us" section on the website is beyond me, if they're not going to respond when people use it. Anyway, I was finally able to use my store credit (which ended up costing me $30 even though it was basically an exchange for a smaller size) and have my dress, which is gorgeous. I love their clothes, but I'll think twice about ordering from them again because their onerous exchange policy and difficulty in getting customer service aren't worth the aggrivation. ORIGINAL REVIEW: In July I ordered a dress from Baltic Born that I returned for store credit. All I wanted was a small size of the same dress. However, I cannot use the store credit because they didn't send me the code and it doesn't show up in my account. They do not respond to requests for help (I think I'm up to four, now). Now it's September and I wanted this dress for my step-daughter's wedding, which is fast approaching. So either I order it again and get stuck with the store credit I can't use; I order it again and dispute the store credit with my cc; or I shop elsewhere. Baltic Born needs to do a MUCH better job with customer service and with keeping customers apprised of the return process. The dresses are gorgeous and well made, but are they worth the hassle if there's a problem?

The worst site I have ever ordered…

The worst site I have ever ordered from! I purchased a dress for $102 and it was slightly big, so i wanted to do a return for a smaller size. They only do store credit! And they gave me only $90 back in store credit so that would not even cover to buy the dress again in a smaller size. I’ve tried contacting them 4 and no response!

The return policy is garbage

The return policy is garbage. They have a misleading policy where you can pay $2.00 upfront to guarantee "free returns." It reads like an insurance package that will allow returns; but does not actually do anything for you in terms of an actual refund... you are still stuck with store credit - something the majority of customers who initiate a return (unhappy with this company's products) would ever want. To be clear, the quality of the dress I ordered was terrible; I have less than zero interest in keeping store credit to this place.

Do NOT order from this company

Do NOT order from this company! They will not refund your money and will only give credit. It is impossible to find where to use the credit. The quality of the products are cheap and NOT worth the money.

The fabric was cheap

The fabric was cheap, the dresses wore like a costume and not a dress as described. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY THAT PORTENDS TO OFFER FULL REFUNDS, WHEN YOU CAN ONLY GET A STORE CREDIT. MONEY WASTED....DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

DO NOT ORDER

DO NOT ORDER! Even if you think so - I was looking for a dress for my daughter's wedding, and when it didn't fit, they gladly kept my money (no refunds) and they didn't give me all of my money back. Then it wasn't enough for another dress, and they add fees and tell me it's a gift. My money spent, given back partially to me, is NOT a gift. It's robbery.

Don’t deal with this vendor

Don’t deal with this vendor. Got a notice that my credit was about to expire. 24 hours later, couldn’t order— had already expire. No customer service. They use a service called just answer.com, which says it’s $1 charge and ask for credit card. But then answer.com charges. $46 membership fee…. Don’t buy from these thieves!!!!

What kind of online clothing company doesn't offer a refund when you can't try something on before purchasing and it doesn't fit?

It doesn't matter how many times you measure yourself or how many pictures you look at--you won't know how something will fit you or how you will look unless you have the option of trying the item on or getting a refund if it doesn't work for your body type or personal style. I needed a bridesmaid dress, but nothing I ordered looked right when I tried it on, so now that I don't have the option of a refund to find something that actually works for the occasion, I am stuck with a useless "store credit" that I probably won't use. Don't buy unless you don't care if something fits or works right because you can't try it on or return it for a refund.

Scammers!

These ladies are not on the up and up. Look at how many complaints the Better Business Bureau has against them. NO REFUND- STORE CREDIT ONLY. Poor quality and fit. Just DONT do it!

Don't buy from this company!!

Don't buy from this company!!! I was out of town when my grandmother passed away. I accidentally put in my home address. I immediately contacted them and was told I would have to reorder. So I did. Little did I know that they do not process returns and only issue store credit!!! I was duped!!! Now I'm out nearly $400 for a dress for a funeral!!! Even though I contacted them immediately to cancel the purchase to the wrong address!!!

Do not order anything if you possibly…

Do not order anything if you possibly will return item. They will not refund your money only give you store credit! Also, when you find out about the return policy and go to cancel the order they do not allow you to cancel. Buyer BEWARE!

Horrible quality

I bought a dress and after having worn it for less than an hour the outer material had ripped and the seames were incredibly badly stitched. I contacted customer support which said that as soon as I try the dress on they have no responsibility for the quality of it. Absolutely horrible, I probably would've gotten a better piece of clothing from Shein.
