HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!

I am STILL waiting on my return to process. I have emailed and still not heard back anything. I ordered at the beginning of October hoping To find a suitable dress for my wedding that's at the end of October. The wedding is next week and I cannot get anybody to respond or to process my return so I can find something else from this company. I always used to tell people about what a wonderful company this was but after this it's leaving a very sour taste in my mouth. I ordered over $600 worth of dresses and had to send half of them back- which is a totally different a story. I was shocked to find that I couldn't get my money refunded, But decided to go with it anyway and try to pick up out a different dress for the wedding. But now I can't order the dress because my credit has been hung up for almost 10 days and no one will reach out to me or respond to my emails. They also automatically deducted $10 to $20 from each dress that I sent back before. They've even looked at them. For instance, I purchased a dress for $105-110 and when I went to send it back they quoted me only paying about $80 to $90 for it. Horrible management of the customer service and returns! No ability to call or get ahold of someone in the phone. I used rant and rave and recommend Baltic born to so many people, it will definitely come with a warning label now.

Be more transparent

They need to make it more clear on their website that it takes a few days to process the order before it ships. I had to order another dress from a different site because this one would not get to me in time. They also advertise free returns and make you pay to get free returns and insurance on the package, but they do not offer refunds, only store credit. They need to be clear that they only offer refunds in store credit. It was not until after I ordered and tried to return that I realized I could nto actually get money back, and since I did not get the dress in time I could not buy another for the event with store credit.

Doesn’t abide by their own policies

The clothing took longer than anticipated to arrive… I purchased them for an event. I had the dresses my hands for 3 days prior to sending them back. I checked the returns portal repeatedly, however the package stated it never arrived hadn’t arrived back at their facility. I couldn’t wait any longer and purchased a dress from a different company for the event. Two days prior to the event, though, I checked the Fed Ex tracking site: it had been delivered 6 days earlier! No communication from BB and nothing noted in the returns portal. I emailed them asking about the return and they stated it takes 5-10 business days to inspect and process returns. Well, it has already been 5, but I waited. The 10th day came and went. I emailed them back asking for a full refund despite the store credit for breaching their own policies. They answered back with the excuse that they had to process it manually and that the store credit policy held firm. There was no accountability in their actions.

Horrible.

Horrible.
You cannot get your money back at all, only store credit. Quality awful, for awful, now I am stuck with credit for a store that sells terrible clothing. Buyer beware. I never thought to read the return policy because I honestly never bought anything anywhere that you could not return within a certain window.

I tried to return 2 dresses ($200)and…

I tried to return 2 dresses ($200)and rec’d 2 emails with a QR code for refund. They did not work, so I called , and was on the phone with a guy for an hour, going through so many steps, downloading an app, and on and on..
I finally hung up bc I was suspicious. That evening we found we were CHARGED $200 !
We called this morning and my husband spoke to him, another half hour, and the last step, told my husband to go to his Venmo acct. and where it said Pay or Request, told him to put $200 on the Pay line.
This company is a fraud for returns. I will never use them again.

Beyond awful return policy

My overall experience with Baltic Born was terrible. Their no returns policy is not well advertised. You can only return for store credit. I would not recommend purchasing from them. I was essentially out $160. They approved a half return of my money but I still will never see $80 of my hard earned money and it sits as “store credit” with them. Just felt like such a scam! They say it’s well advertised but obviously I didn’t see it at checkout. It should be in huge big red letters all over their site so you can’t miss it. So incredibly dissatisfied.

Ridiculous return policy

Ridiculous return policy! I will never buy from them again.
The fact that they will not take a return and issue the payment back to the card is absolutely absurd. I have never had a company refuse to return the payment.
I wish there was a better way to get the word out about this company. Do not buy from this company.

Absolutely absurd return policy

Absolutely absurd return policy. Make sure you read every inch of the policy before you think about giving them your business.

I ordered multiple dresses to try as a bridesmaid in an upcoming wedding. I will take the blame for not looking at the return policy details (will never make this mistake again), however, their expectations are ridiculous. Extremely short return window, store credit only, if there is accidentally 1 piece of hair on the return from trying it on then will send you a condescending and rude email and take away your opportunity to ever return items again. I am now stuck with a store credit for a business that I think is crap quality, and if I use my store credit I am not able to return the items if they don’t fit.

Will be using my store credit and NEVER shopping here again. Will also warn anyone who is dress shopping to never shop here as well.

Horrible Return, Inconsistent Sizes

I would never order from here again unless I was stuck in the endless loop of returns and store credit as I am now. As a pregnant woman trying to find a bridesmaid dress, I couldn’t have predicted Baltic born to be as frustrating as it was. My friend chose them because of their vast bump friendly styles in the colors she was looking for for her wedding. What we couldn't have predicted was how inconvenient they would be. I gave myself 4 months to purchase a dress. Didn’t think it would be an issue. I noted the store credit only return policy so I only purchased one dress in the size that my measurements matched. Once received, the order was too large and since they don’t allow for exchanges, you’re required to submit for a return, pay to mail it back, then wait until you get your store credit to make another purchase. What you can’t predict is that their dresses go out of stock so quickly that if you need to just get a different size, you’ll likely get screwed over. Sold out. So now you move on to another style. While you may note that the measurements are exactly the same and order a different size since the last one didn’t fit, you’ll soon realize you are wrong. Their dresses all have the same measurements for all their sizes but they are incredibly inconsistent. A medium in two styles are not the same. Their fits are poorly described. So another return, another sold out style, and back to the drawing board we go. I started to come down to the wire with time left to get a dress in time for this wedding. I had such a hard time with finding a bump friendly dress that actually fit that was in stock that I ended up just purchasing a sold out style on Poshmark. Now I’m stuck with a store credit for god knows another how many rounds of purchases and returns. Do yourself and your bridesmaids a favor and just go with another store that allows exchanges, stocks their inventory better, or allows returns for a refund. The dresses aren’t that worth it for all the hassle and frustration.

Disappointing Quality and Poor Customer Service

I purchased a romper from Baltic Born for $73, and after just a month, the zipper broke. I reached out to the company, but they refused to offer any reimbursement or solution. It's really disappointing because the romper was adorable, and I made sure to follow the washing instructions carefully. For the price, I expected much better quality and durability. Unfortunately, I won’t be shopping with them again.

Received a damaged dress

Received a damaged dress, there was a cut on it like the seamstress accidentally nicked it with scissors, and they refused to give me my money back, they only would issue a store credit. Why would I want to buy more of an unreliable thing???

terrible customer service and shipping

I ordered dresses over 2 weeks ago (maybe 16 days) and still have not received them. They were for a wedding which has already passed. I had reached out with concerns 7 days ago because no information had been available, but they just sent me the link with an inaccurate shipping tracker. I reached out again today, and they just sent me a general FAQ. Obviously this is a common problem with them. Would definitely not shop here again
