Very shy on credit returns on bad leads. Some leads are shocking. Barring that, great service. We should be refunded with no contact though.

They should check out the contractors…

They should check out the contractors that they submit to get jobs done.
I used this to find a contractor and the job was completely botched and the contractor disappeared and left a huge mess for me to cleanup and redo.

TJHome improvements Cowboy…builders

I used TJ home improvements to get my roof tiles fixed but he has left it worse than when he started Terry the owner was quick enough to take my money but has not come back.He does not answer your calls or texts.So anyone thinking of getting work done watch out he is the bigest Cowboy going. Continuation to my previous message under honest review title:

They refuse to pass this onto a manager and also no member of management call.
They ignore your emails and leads are absolute fake. Another lead purchased with no response. They add leads at different times of the day and night when then actually is not customers as they do no respond. Customers who add leads would want to be contacted and will respond. Absolute fake. Have requested for a manager to call me for weeks now and still ignored.

In Media, Video, photography industry, the 'leads' cost £30 per contact and 99% of these are fake emails, phone numbers or people that don't want to pay to do a job.
This commpany is a FRAUD.
They take your money and offer you fake leads or potential clients.
What institution can penalise these cyber-criminals?

Paying to be ignored

I signed up to Bark.com as a florist

I paid £61.90 for credits (roughly £15.48 per lead) and used all of them within 24 hours.

The result:
- Not a single lead in
- emails offering credits as leads on my area (false). Or
- No responses via the platform
- No engagement even when contacting leads via the platform (including WhatsApp)

You are also limited to competing with up to 5 other professionals per lead, all paying for the same opportunity which means you’re effectively paying just to attempt contact, not to secure actual work.

In the current cost of living crisis, this feels incredibly poor value and, frankly, exploitative of small businesses trying to generate income.

I have raised this with Bark and requested a refund, but so far have only received generic responses.

Proceed with caution.

And the email you emailed to bounces back! Comedy!

Initial communication was good

Initial communication was good. I signed up expecting genuine leads, but my experience has been extremely bad. I spent credits on leads that appeared to be fake or completely unresponsive.

I would not recommend Bark to other small businesses. It has felt like a waste of time, money and energy. In a nutshell the service has not delivered what was promised. You buy credits which get wasted on fake leads.

This company has the worst refund…

This company has the worst refund policy. They are very good at taking your money but when you call a customer as a trade person you find out most leads are not real and you just lost your money. Avoid at all costs.
